Psalms 149

1 Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: let his praise be in the church of the saints.

Појте Господу песму нову; хвала да Му је на сабору светих.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: and let the children of Sion be joyful in their king.

Нека се весели Израиљ о Створитељу свом, синови сионски нек се радују о цару свом.

3 Let them praise his name in choir: let them sing to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.

Нека хвале име Његово покликујући, у бубањ и гусле нека Му ударају.

4 For the Lord is well pleased with his people: and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.

Јер је мио Господу народ Његов, украшава смерне спасавајући их.

5 The saints shall rejoice in glory: they shall be joyful in their beds.

Нек се веселе свеци у слави, и нек се радују на постељама својим.

6 The high praise of God shall be in their mouth: and two-edged swords in their hands:

Слава је Божија у устима њиховим, и мач с обе стране оштар у руци њиховој,

7 To execute vengeance upon the nations, chastisements among the people:

Да се освете народима, и покарају племена;

8 To bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with manacles of iron.

Да свежу цареве њихове у ланце, и властелу њихову у окове гвоздене,

9 To execute upon them the judgment that is written: this glory is to all his saints. Alleluia.

И изврше на њима написани суд. Ова је част свима свецима Његовим. Алилуја!
