Psalms 148
1 Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise ye him in the high places.
Louvae ao Senhor. Louvae ao Senhor desde os céus, louvae-o nas alturas.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Louvae-o, todos os seus anjos; louvae-o todos os seus exercitos.
3 Praise ye him, O sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars and light.
Louvae-o, sol e lua; louvae-o, todas as estrellas luzentes.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens: and let all the waters that are above the heavens
Louvae-o, céus dos céus, e as aguas que estão sobre os céus.
5 Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.
Louvem o nome do Senhor, pois mandou, e logo foram creados.
6 He hath established them for ever, and for ages of ages: he hath made a decree, and it shall not pass away.
E os confirmou para sempre, e lhes deu uma lei que não ultra-passarão.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all ye deeps:
Louvae ao Senhor desde a terra: vós, baleias, e todos os abysmos,
8 Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy winds which fulfill his word:
Fogo e saraiva, neve e vapores, e vento tempestuoso que executa a sua palavra:
9 Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars:
Montes e todos os outeiros, arvores fructiferas e todos os cedros:
10 Beasts and all cattle: serpents and feathered fowls:
As feras e todos os gados, reptis e aves voadoras:
11 Kings of the earth and all people: princes and all judges of the earth:
Reis da terra e todos os povos, principes e todos os juizes da terra:
12 Young men and maidens: let the old with the younger, praise the name of the Lord:
Mancebos e donzellas, velhos e creanças,
13 For his name alone is exalted.
Louvem o nome do Senhor, pois só o seu nome é exaltado: a sua gloria está sobre a terra e o céu.
14 The praise of him is above heaven and earth: and he hath exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his saints: to the children of Israel, a people approaching to him. Alleluia.
Elle tambem exalta o poder do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus sanctos, dos filhos de Israel, um povo que lhe é chegado. Louvae ao Senhor.
