< Psalms 148 >

1 Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise ye him in the high places.
Alleluja. Chwalcie PANA z niebios, chwalcie go na wysokościach.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Chwalcie go, wszyscy jego aniołowie; chwalcie go, wszystkie jego zastępy.
3 Praise ye him, O sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars and light.
Chwalcie go, słońce i księżycu; chwalcie go, wszystkie gwiazdy świecące.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens: and let all the waters that are above the heavens
Chwalcie go, niebiosa nad niebiosami i wody, które są nad niebiosami.
5 Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.
Niech chwalą imię PANA, on bowiem rozkazał i zostały stworzone.
6 He hath established them for ever, and for ages of ages: he hath made a decree, and it shall not pass away.
I ustanowił je na wieki wieków; dał prawo, które nie przeminie.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all ye deeps:
Chwalcie PANA z ziemi, smoki i wszystkie głębiny.
8 Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy winds which fulfill his word:
Ogniu i gradzie, śniegu i paro, wietrze gwałtowny, wykonujący jego rozkaz;
9 Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars:
Góry i wszystkie pagórki, drzewa owocowe i wszystkie cedry;
10 Beasts and all cattle: serpents and feathered fowls:
Zwierzęta i wszelkie bydło, istoty pełzające i ptactwo skrzydlate.
11 Kings of the earth and all people: princes and all judges of the earth:
Królowie ziemscy i wszystkie narody; władcy i wszyscy sędziowie ziemi;
12 Young men and maidens: let the old with the younger, praise the name of the Lord:
Młodzieńcy, a także dziewice, starzy i dzieci;
13 For his name alone is exalted.
Niech chwalą imię PANA, bo tylko jego imię jest wzniosłe, [a] jego chwała nad ziemią i niebem.
14 The praise of him is above heaven and earth: and he hath exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his saints: to the children of Israel, a people approaching to him. Alleluia.
I wywyższył róg swego ludu, chwałę wszystkich jego świętych, [zwłaszcza] synów Izraela, ludu mu bliskiego. Alleluja.
