Psalms 142

1 Of understanding for David. A prayer when he was in the cave. I cried to the Lord with my voice: with my voice I made supplication to the Lord.

၁ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားထံသို့ အသံကိုလွှင့်၍ အော်ဟစ်၏။ ငါ့အသံကို ထာဝရဘုရားထံသို့လွှင့်၍ ဆုတောင်းပဋ္ဌနာပြု၏။

2 In his sight I pour out my prayer, and before him I declare my trouble:

၂ရှေ့တော်၌ မြည်တမ်းသော စကားကို မြွက်၍၊ ခံရသောဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခကို ကြားလျှောက်ရ၏။

3 When my spirit failed me, then thou newest my paths.

၃အကျွန်ုပ်သည် စိတ်ပျက်လျက်ရှိသောအခါ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သွားသောလမ်းကို ကိုယ်တော်သိတော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်သွားသောလမ်း၌ ကျော့ကွင်းကို ဝှက်ထားကြ ပါပြီ။

4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, and there was no one that would know me. Flight hath failed me: and there is no one that hath regard to my soul.

၄လက်ျာဘက်သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်ကြည့်ရှုသောအခါ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သိကျွမ်းသောသူမရှိပါ။ ပြေးလွတ်ရာလမ်းလည်း ပိတ်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်အသက်ကို နှမြောသောသူမရှိပါ။

5 I cried to thee, O Lord: I said: Thou art my hope, my portion in the land of the living.

၅အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကိုအော်ဟစ်ပါ၏။ အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့၏ နေရာ၌ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ခိုလှုံရာ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ခံစားရာအဘို့ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

6 Attend to my supplication: for I am brought very low. Deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

၆အလွန်နှိမ့်ချလျက်နေသော အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ကြွေး ကြော်သံကို နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူတို့လက်မှ ကယ်နှုတ်တော်မူပါ။ သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ထက်သာ၍ ခွန်အားကြီးကြပါ၏။

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the just wait for me, until thou reward me.

၇နာမတော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ချီးမွမ်းရမည်အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ထောင်ထဲကနှုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူပါ။ ထိုသို့ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူသောအခါ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ဝန်းရံလျက်နေကြပါလိမ့်မည်။
