Psalms 129

1 Often have they fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say.

ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଆରୋହଣ ଗୀତ। “ମୋʼ ଯୌବନଠାରୁ ମୋʼ ର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଅନେକ ଥର ମୋତେ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଏବେ କୁହନ୍ତୁ;

2 Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.

ମୋʼ ଯୌବନଠାରୁ ସେମାନେ ଅନେକ ଥର ମୋତେ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଜୟୀ ହୋଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି।

3 The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.

କୃଷକମାନେ ମୋʼ ପୃଷ୍ଠଦେଶରେ ହଳ ବୁଲାଇଲେ; ସେମାନେ ଲମ୍ବ ଲମ୍ବ ଶିଆର କଲେ।”

4 The Lord who is just will cut the necks of sinners:

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧର୍ମମୟ; ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ଦାସତ୍ଵରୁ ମୋତେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Sion.

ସିୟୋନକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବା ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହୋଇ ହଟି ଯାଉନ୍ତୁ।

6 Let them be as grass on the tops of houses: which withered before it be plucked up:

ସେମାନେ ଗୃହର ଛାତ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ସେହି ତୃଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ, ଯାହା ବଢ଼ିବା ପୂର୍ବେ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୁଏ;

7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand: nor he that gathereth sheaves his bosom.

ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା କଟାଳି ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ, ଅବା ବିଡ଼ାବନ୍ଧନକାରୀ ଆପଣା ଅଣ୍ଟି ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରେ ନାହିଁ।

8 And they that have passed by have not said: The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we have blessed you in the name of the Lord.

“କିଅବା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରୁଅଛୁ,” ଏହା ପଥିକମାନେ କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
