Psalms 128

1 Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways.

Pesem preizvrstna. Blagor mu, kdorkoli se boji Gospoda, kateri hodi po potih njegovih.

2 For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.

Delo namreč rok svojih bodeš užival, srečen bodeš in dobro ti bode.

3 Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house.

Žena tvoja kakor trta rodovitna na strani hiše tvoje; sinovi tvoji, kakor mlade oljke, obdajali bodo mizo tvojo.

4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

Glej, tako bode blagoslovljen kateri se boji Gospoda!

5 May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayest thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

Blagoslavlja te Gospod sè Sijona; uživaj torej srečo Jeruzalemsko vse dnî svojega življenja.

6 And mayest thou see thy children’s children, peace upon Israel.

In poglej sinov svojih otroke; mir nad Izraelom!
