Psalms 124

1 If it had not been that the Lord was with us, let Israel now say:

১ইস্ৰায়েলে ইয়াকে কওঁক, “যদি যিহোৱা আমাৰ পক্ষত নাথাকিলহেঁতেন,

2 If it had not been that the Lord was with us, When men rose up against us,

২শত্রুবোৰে যেতিয়া আমাক আক্রমণ কৰিছিল, তেতিয়া যদি যিহোৱা আমাৰ পক্ষত নাথাকিলহেঁতেন,

3 Perhaps they had swallowed us up alive. When their fury was enkindled against us,

৩তেন্তে তেওঁলোকে আমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ক্ৰোধত জ্বলি উঠি আমাক জীয়াই জীয়াই গ্ৰাস কৰিলেহেঁতেন,

4 Perhaps the waters had swallowed us up.

৪তেতিয়া জল সমূহে আমাক উটুৱাই লৈ গ’লহেতেঁন, আমাৰ ওপৰেদি জলৰ সোঁত বৈ গ’লহেতেঁন;

5 Our soul hath passed through a torrent: perhaps our soul had passed through a water insupportable.

৫ওফন্দি উঠা জল সমূহ আমাৰ ওপৰেদি বৈ গ’লহেতেঁন।

6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us to be a prey to their teeth.

৬ধন্য যিহোৱা, যি জনাই আমাক চিকাৰ স্বৰূপে তেওঁলোকৰ দাঁতত পেলাই নিদিলে।

7 Our soul hath been delivered as a sparrow out of the snare of the followers. The snare is broken, and we are delivered.

৭আমাৰ প্রাণ ব্যাধৰ ফান্দৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা পোৱা পক্ষীৰ নিচিনাকৈ ৰক্ষা পৰিল; ফান্দ ছিঙি গ’ল আৰু আমি ৰক্ষা পালোঁ।

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

৮যি জনাই আকাশ-মণ্ডল আৰু পৃথিৱী সৃষ্টি কৰিলে, সেই যিহোৱাৰ নামত আমি সহায় পাওঁ।
