Psalms 123

1 To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven.

௧ஆரோகண பாடல். பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கிறவரே, உம்மிடத்திற்கு என்னுடைய கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கிறேன்.

2 Behold as the eyes of the servants are on the hands of their masters, As the eyes of the handmaid are on the hands of her mistress: so are our eyes unto the Lord our God, until he have mercy on us.

௨தங்களுடைய எஜமான்களின் கையை நோக்கியிருப்பதுபோலவும், வேலைக்காரியின் கண்கள் தன்னுடைய எஜமானியின் கையை நோக்கியிருப்பதுபோலவும், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா எங்களுக்கு இரக்கஞ்செய்யும்வரைக்கும், எங்களுடைய கண்கள் அவரை நோக்கியிருக்கிறது.

3 Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us: for we are greatly filled with contempt.

௩எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும் யெகோவாவே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்; அவமானத்தினால் மிகவும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறோம்.

4 For our soul is greatly filled: we are a reproach to the rich, and contempt to the proud.

௪சுகமாக வாழ்கிறவர்களுடைய அவமானத்தினாலும், அகங்காரிகளுடைய இகழ்ச்சியினாலும், எங்களுடைய ஆத்துமா மிகவும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.
