Psalms 121

1 I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me.

சீயோன் மலை ஏறும்போது பாடும் பாடல். மலைகளுக்கு நேராக என் கண்களை உயர்த்துகிறேன். எங்கிருந்து எனக்கு உதவி வரும்?

2 My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவரான யெகோவாவிடமிருந்தே, எனக்கு உதவி வரும்.

3 May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee.

அவர் உன் காலைச் சறுக்கவிடமாட்டார்; உன்னைக் காக்கும் அவர் உறங்கமாட்டார்.

4 Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel.

இதோ, இஸ்ரயேலைக் காக்கிறவர், உறங்குகிறதுமில்லை தூங்குகிறதுமில்லை.

5 The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand.

யெகோவா உன்னைக் காக்கிறவர்; யெகோவா உன் வலப்பக்கத்திலே உனக்கு நிழலாக இருக்கிறார்.

6 The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night.

பகலில் சூரியனோ, இரவில் சந்திரனோ உனக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாது.

7 The Lord keepeth thee from all evil: may the Lord keep thy soul.

யெகோவா உன்னை எல்லாத் தீங்கிலிருந்தும் காப்பார்; அவர் உன் வாழ்வைக் காப்பார்.

8 May the Lord keep thy going in and thy going out; from henceforth now and for ever.

யெகோவா உன் போக்கையும் வரத்தையும் இப்பொழுதும் எப்பொழுதும் காப்பார்.
