< Psalms 110 >

1 The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou at my right hand: Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: 'Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.'
2 The Lord will send forth the sceptre of thy power out of Sion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.
The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.
3 With thee is the principality in the day of thy strength: in the brightness of the saints: from the womb before the day star I begot thee.
Thy people [are] free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedech.
Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, 'Thou [art] a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.'
5 The Lord at thy right hand hath broken kings in the day of his wrath.
The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger.
6 He shall judge among nations, he shall fill ruins: he shall crush the heads in the land of the many.
He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth.
7 He shall drink of the torrent in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head!
