Psalms 102
1 The prayer of the poor man, when he was anxious, and poured out his supplication before the Lord. Hear, O Lord, my prayer: and let my cry come to thee.
Ein Gebet des Elenden, wenn er schmachtet und seine Klage vor dem HERRN ausschüttet. O HERR, höre mein Gebet, und mein Schreien komme vor dich!
2 Turn not away thy face from me: in the day when I am in trouble, incline thy ear to me. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, hear me speedily.
Verbirg dein Angesicht nicht vor mir am Tage meiner Not; neige dein Ohr zu mir; am Tage, da ich dich anrufe, erhöre mich eilends!
3 For my days are vanished like smoke: and my bones are grown dry like fuel for the fire.
Denn meine Tage sind in Rauch aufgegangen, und meine Gebeine glühen wie ein Ofen.
4 I am smitten as grass, and my heart is withered: because I forgot to eat my bread.
Mein Herz ist geschlagen und verdorrt wie Gras; denn ich habe vergessen, mein Brot zu essen.
5 Through the voice of my groaning, my bone hath cleaved to my flesh.
Vor lauter Seufzen kleben meine Knochen an meinem Fleisch.
6 I am become like to a pelican of the wilderness: I am like a night raven in the house.
Ich gleiche einer Rohrdommel in der Wüste, bin wie ein Käuzlein in den Ruinen;
7 I have watched, and am become as a sparrow all alone on the housetop.
ich wache und bin wie ein einsamer Vogel auf dem Dach.
8 All the day long my enemies reproached me: and they that praised me did swear against me.
Täglich schmähen mich meine Feinde, und die wider mich toben, schwören bei mir;
9 For I did eat ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.
denn ich esse Asche wie Brot und mische meinen Trank mit Tränen
10 Because of thy anger and indignation: for having lifted me up thou hast thrown me down.
wegen deines Grimms und deines Zorns, daß du mich aufgehoben und hingeschleudert hast.
11 My days have declined like a shadow, and I am withered like grass.
Meine Tage sind wie ein langgestreckter Schatten, und ich verdorre wie Gras.
12 But thou, O Lord, endurest for ever: and thy memorial to all generations.
Aber du, o HERR, bleibst ewig und dein Gedächtnis von einem Geschlecht zum andern.
13 Thou shalt arise and have mercy on Sion: for it is time to have mercy on it, for the time is come.
Du wollest dich aufmachen und dich über Zion erbarmen; denn es ist Zeit, daß du ihr gnädig seiest, die Stunde ist gekommen!
14 For the stones thereof have pleased thy servants: and they shall have pity on the earth thereof.
Denn deine Knechte lieben Zions Steine und trauern über ihren Schutt.
15 And the Gentiles shall fear thy name, O Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
Dann werden die Heiden den Namen des HERRN fürchten und alle Könige auf Erden deine Herrlichkeit,
16 For the Lord hath built up Sion: and he shall be seen in his glory.
wenn der HERR Zion gebaut hat und erschienen ist in seiner Herrlichkeit,
17 He hath had regard to the prayer of the humble: and he hath not despised their petition.
wenn er sich zum Gebet der Heimatlosen gewendet und ihr Gebet nicht verachtet hat.
18 Let these things be written unto another generation: and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord:
Das wird man aufschreiben für das spätere Geschlecht, und das Volk, das geschaffen werden soll, wird den HERRN loben,
19 Because he hath looked forth from his high sanctuary: from heaven the Lord hath looked upon the earth.
daß er herabgeschaut hat von der Höhe seines Heiligtums, daß der HERR vom Himmel zur Erde geblickt hat,
20 That he might hear the groans of them that are in fetters: that he might release the children of the slain:
zu hören das Seufzen der Gefangenen und loszumachen die Kinder des Todes;
21 That they may declare the name of the Lord in Sion: and his praise in Jerusalem;
auf daß sie den Namen des HERRN preisen zu Zion und sein Lob in Jerusalem,
22 When the people assemble together, and kings, to serve the Lord.
wenn die Völker sich versammeln allzumal und die Königreiche, dem HERRN zu dienen.
23 He answered him in the way of his strength: Declare unto me the fewness of my days.
Er hat auf dem Wege meine Kraft gebeugt, meine Tage verkürzt.
24 Call me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are unto generation and generation.
Ich spreche: Mein Gott, nimm mich nicht weg in der Hälfte meiner Tage! Deine Jahre währen für und für.
25 In the beginning, O Lord, thou foundedst the earth: and the heavens are the works of thy hands.
Du hast vormals die Erde gegründet, und die Himmel sind deiner Hände Werk.
26 They shall perish but thou remainest: and all of them shall grow old like a garment: And as a vesture thou shalt change them, and they shall be changed.
Sie werden vergehen, du aber bleibst; sie alle werden wie ein Kleid veralten, wie ein Gewand wirst du sie wechseln, und sie werden verschwinden.
27 But thou art always the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.
Du aber bleibst, der du bist, und deine Jahre nehmen kein Ende!
28 The children of thy servants shall continue: and their seed shall be directed for ever.
Die Kinder deiner Knechte werden bleiben, und ihr Same wird vor dir bestehen.
