Numbers 34

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

Og Herren talede til Mose og sagde:

2 Command the children of Israel, and then shalt say to them: When you are entered into the land of Chanaan, and it shall be fallen into your possession by lot, it shall be bounded by these limits:

Byd Israels Børn, og du skal sige til dem: Naar I komme til Kanaans Land, da skal dette være det Land, som skal falde eder til Arv, nemlig Kanaans Land efter sine Grænser.

3 The south side shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is by Edom: and shall have the most salt sea for its furthest limits eastward:

Og den søndre Side skal være eder fra den Ørk Zin til Edom, og eders Landemærke skal være i Sønden fra Enden af Salthavet imod Østen.

4 Which limits shall go round on the south side by the ascent of the Scorpion and so into Senna, and reach toward the south as far as Cadesbarne, from whence the frontiers shall go out to the town called Adar, and shall reach as far as Asemona.

Og eders Landemærke skal gaa omkring hen Sønden om Opgangen til Akrabbim og gaa igennem til Zin, og dets Udgang skal være Sønden for Kades-Barnea, og det skal gaa ud til Hazar-Adar og gaa over til Azmon.

5 And the limits shall fetch a compass from Asemona to the torrent of Egypt, and shall end in the shore of the great sea.

Og Landemærket skal gaa omkring fra Azmon til Ægyptens Bæk, og Udgangen derpaa skal være til Havet.

6 And the west side shall begin from the great sea, and the same shall be the end thereof.

Og angaaende Landemærket imod Vesten, da skal det store Hav være eder Landemærke; dette skal være eders Landemærke imod Vesten.

7 But toward the north side the borders shall begin from the great sea, reaching to the most high mountain,

Og dette skal være eder Landemærket mod Norden: I skulle sætte Grænsen for eder fra det store Hav til Bjerget Hor.

8 From which they shall come to Emath, as far as the borders of Sedada:

Fra Bjerget Hor skulle I sætte Grænsen hen imod Hamath, og Landemærkets Udgang skal være til Zedad.

9 And the limits shall go as far as Zephrona, and the village of Enan. These shall be the borders on the north side.

Og Landemærket skal gaa ud til Sifron, og dets Udgang skal være ved Hasar-Enan; dette skal være eders Landemærke imod Norden.

10 From thence they shall mark out the bounds towards the east side from the village of Enan unto Sephama.

Og I skulle maale eders Landemærke mod Østen fra Hasar-Enan til Sefam.

11 And from Sephama the bounds shall go down to Rebla over against the fountain of Daphnis: from thence they shall come eastward to the sea of Cenereth,

Og Landemærket skal gaa ned fra Sefam til Ribla, Østen for Ain, og Landemærket skal gaa ned og berøre Siden af Kinnereths Hav imod Østen.

12 And shall reach as far as the Jordan, and at the last shall be closed in by the most salt sea. This shall be your land with its borders round about.

Og Landemærket skal gaa ned til Jordanen, og dets Udgang skal være ved Salthavet; dette skal være eder Landet med sine Grænser trindt omkring.

13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: This shall be the land which you shall possess by lot, and which the Lord hath commanded to be given to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.

Og Mose bød Israels Børn og sagde: Dette er det Land, som I skulle tage eder til Arv ved Lodkastning, og som Herren befalede at give de ni Stammer og den halve Stamme;

14 For the tribe of the children of Ruben by their families, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the number of their kindreds, and half of the tribe of Manasses,

thi Rubeniternes Børns Stamme efter deres Fædrenehuse, og Gaditernes Børns Stamme efter deres Fædrenehuse, de have faaet, og Manasse halve Stamme, de have faaet deres Arv.

15 That is, two tribes and a half, have received their portion beyond the Jordan over against Jericho at the east side.

De to Stammer og den halve Stamme, de have faaet deres Arv paa denne Side Jordanen lige for Jeriko, foran mod Østen.

16 And the Lord said to Moses:

Og Herren talede til Mose og sagde:

17 These are the names of the men, that shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Josue the son of Nun,

Disse ere Navnene paa de Mænd, som skulle dele Landet til Arv mellem eder: Eleasar, Præsten, og Josva, Nuns Søn.

18 And one prince of every tribe,

Og een Fyrste af hver Stamme skulle I tage til at dele Landet til Arv.

19 Whose names are these: Of the tribe of Juda, Caleb the son of Jephone.

Disse ere Navnene paa Mændene: Af Judas Stamme Kaleb, Jefunne Søn;

20 Of the tribe of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammiud.

og af Simeons Børns Stamme Semuel, Ammihuds Søn;

21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chaselon.

af Benjamins Stamme Elidad, Kisions Søn;

22 Of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bocci the son of Jogli.

og af Dans Børns Stamme en Fyrste, Bukki, Jogli Søn;

23 Of the children of Joseph of the tribe of Manasses, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

af Josefs Børn, af Manasse Børns Stamme, en Fyrste, Hanniel, Efods Søn;

24 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Camuel the son of Sephtan.

og af Efraims Børns Stamme en Fyrste, Kemuel, Siftans Søn;

25 Of the tribe of Zabulon, Elisaphan the son of Pharnach.

og af Sebulons Børns Stamme en Fyrste, Elizafan, Parnaks Søn;

26 Of the tribe of Issachar, Phaltiel the prince, the son of Ozan.

og af Isaskars Børns Stamme en Fyrste, Paltiel, Assans Søn;

27 Of the tribe of Aser, Ahiud the son of Salomi.

og af Asers Børns Stamme en Fyrste, Akihud, Selomi Søn;

28 Of the tribe of Nephtali: Phedael the son of Ammiud.

og af Nafthali Børns Stamme en Fyrste, Pedahel, Ammihuds Søn.

29 These are they whom the Lord hath commanded to divide the land of Chanaan to the children of Israel.

Disse ere de, som Herren bød at dele Arven imellem Israels Børn, i Kanaans Land.
