Numbers 26
1 After the blood of the guilty was shed, the Lord said to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron, the priest:
Και μετά την πληγήν ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν και προς τον Ελεάζαρ τον υιόν του Ααρών τον ιερέα, λέγων,
2 Number the whole sum of the children of Israel from twenty years old and upward, by their houses and kindreds, all that are able to go forth to war.
Λάβετε το κεφάλαιον πάσης της συναγωγής των υιών Ισραήλ από είκοσι ετών και επάνω, κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών, πάντας τους δυναμένους εν τω Ισραήλ να εξέλθωσιν εις πόλεμον.
3 Moses therefore and Eleazar the priest, being in the plains of Moab upon the Jordan over against Jericho, spoke to them that were
Και ελάλησαν ο Μωϋσής και Ελεάζαρ ο ιερεύς προς αυτούς εις τας πεδιάδας Μωάβ παρά τον Ιορδάνην, κατέναντι της Ιεριχώ, λέγοντες,
4 From twenty years old and upward, as the Lord had commanded: and this is the number of them:
Αριθμήσατε αυτούς από είκοσι ετών και επάνω, καθώς προσέταξε Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν και εις τους υιούς Ισραήλ, τους εξελθόντας εκ γης Αιγύπτου.
5 Ruben the firstborn of Israel. His sons were Henoch, of whom is the family of the Henochites: and Phallu, of whom is the family of the Phalluites:
Ρουβήν, ο πρωτότοκος του Ισραήλ· οι υιοί Ρουβήν ήσαν Ανώχ, εξ ου η συγγένεια των Ανωχιτών· εκ Φαλλού, η συγγένεια των Φαλλουϊτών·
6 And Hesron, of whom is the family of the Hesronites: and Charmi, of whom is the family of the Charmites.
εξ Εσρών, η συγγένεια των Εσρωνιτών· εκ του Χαρμί, η συγγένεια των Χαρμιτών.
7 These are the families of the stock of Ruben: whose number was found to be forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των Ρουβηνιτών· και η απαρίθμησις αυτών ήτο τεσσαράκοντα τρεις χιλιάδες και επτακόσιοι τριάκοντα.
8 The son of Phallu was Eliab.
και οι υιοί του Φαλλού ήσαν Ελιάβ·
9 His sons, were Namuel and Dathan and Abiron. These are Dathan and Abiron the princes of the people, that rose against Moses and Aaron in the sedition of Core, when they rebelled against the Lord:
και οι υιοί του Ελιάβ, Νεμουήλ και Δαθάν και Αβειρών. Ούτοι είναι ο Δαθάν και ο Αβειρών, οι ονομαστοί εκείνοι εν τη συναγωγή, οι στασιάσαντες κατά του Μωϋσέως και κατά του Ααρών εν τη συνοδία του Κορέ, ότε εστασίασαν κατά του Κυρίου·
10 And the earth opening her mouth swallowed up Core, many others dying, when the fire burned two hundred and fifty men. And there was a great miracle wrought,
και ήνοιξεν η γη το στόμα αυτής και κατέπιεν αυτούς μετά του Κορέ, εν τω εξολοθρευμώ της συνοδίας αυτού, ότε το πυρ κατέφαγε τους διακοσίους πεντήκοντα ανθρώπους· και έγειναν εις σημείον·
11 That when Core perished, his sons did not perish.
του Κορέ όμως οι υιοί δεν απέθανον.
12 The sons of Simeon by their kindreds: Namuel, of him is the family of the Namuelites: Jamin, of him is the family of the Jaminites: Jachin, of him is the family of the Jachinites:
Οι υιοί Συμεών κατά τας οικογενείας αυτών ήσαν, εκ Νεμουήλ, η συγγένεια των Νεμουηλιτών· εξ Ιαμείν, η συγγένεια των Ιαμεινιτών· εξ Ιαχείν, η συγγένεια των Ιαχεινιτών·
13 Zare, of him is the family of the Zarites: Saul, of him is the family of the Saulites.
εκ Ζερά, η συγγένεια των Ζεριτών· εκ Σαούλ, η συγγένεια των Σαουλιτών.
14 These are the families of the stock of Simeon, of which the whole number was twenty-two thousand two hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των Συμεωνιτών· κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, εικοσιδύο χιλιάδες και διακόσιοι.
15 The sons of Gad by their kindreds: Sephon, of hin; Is the family of the Sephonites: Aggi, of him is the family of the Aggites: Suni, of him is the family of the Sunites:
Οι υιοί Γαδ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εκ του Σιφών, η συγγένεια των Σιφωνιτών· εξ Αγγί, η συγγένεια των Αγγιτών· εκ Σουνί, η συγγένεια των Σουνιτών·
16 Ozni, of him is the family of the Oznites: Her, of him is the family of the Herites:
εξ Αζενί, η συγγένεια των Αζενιτών· εξ Ηρί, η συγγένεια των Ηριτών·
17 Arod, of him is the family of the Arodites: Ariel, of him is the family of the Arielites.
εξ Αρόδ, η συγγένεια των Αροδιτών· εξ Αριηλί, η συγγένεια των Αριηλιτών.
18 These are the families of Gad, of which the whole number was forty thousand five hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των υιών Γάδ· κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες και πεντακόσιοι.
19 The sons of Juda, Her and Onan, who both died in the land of Chanaan.
Οι υιοί Ιούδα ήσαν Ηρ και Αυνάν· και απέθανον ο Ηρ και ο Αυνάν εν τη γη Χαναάν.
20 And the sons of Juda by their kindreds were: Sela, of whom is the family of the Selaites: Phares, of whom is the family of the Pharesites: Zare, of whom is the family of the Zarites.
Και οι υιοί Ιούδα κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εκ Σηλά, η συγγένεια των Σηλανιτών· εκ Φαρές, η συγγένεια των Φαρεσιτών· εκ Ζαρά, η συγγένεια των Ζαριτών·
21 Moreover the sons of Phares were: Hesron, of whom is the family of the Hesronites: and Hamul, of whom is the family of the Hamulites.
και οι υιοί Φαρές ήσαν εξ Εσρών, η συγγένεια των Εσρωνιτών· εξ Αμούλ, η συγγένεια των Αμουλιτών.
22 These are the families of Juda, of which the whole number was seventy-six thousand five hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι Ιούδα· κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, εβδομήκοντα εξ χιλιάδες και πεντακόσιοι.
23 The sons of Issachar, by their kindreds: Thola, of whom is the family of the Tholaites: Phua, of whom is the family of the Phuaites:
Οι υιοί Ισσάχαρ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εκ Θωλά, συγγένεια των Θωλαϊτών· εκ Φουά, η συγγένεια των Φουνιτών·
24 Jasub, of whom is the family of the Jasubites: Semran, of whom is the family of the Semranites.
εξ Ιασούβ, η συγγένεια των Ιασουβιτών· εκ Σιμβρών, η συγγένεια των Σιμβρωνιτών.
25 These are the kindreds of Issachar, whose number was sixty-four thousand three hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι Ισσάχαρ· κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, εξήκοντα τέσσαρες χιλιάδες και τριακόσιοι.
26 The sons of Zabulon by their kindreds: Sared, of whom is the family of the Saredites: Elon, of whom is the family of the Elonites: Jalel, of whom is the family of the Jalelites.
Οι υιοί Ζαβουλών κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εκ Σερέδ, συγγένεια των Σερεδιτών· εξ Αιλών, η συγγένεια των Αιλωνιτών· εξ Ιαλεήλ, η συγγένεια των Ιαλεηλιτών.
27 These are the kindreds of Zabulon, whose number was sixty thousand five hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των Ζαβουλωνιτών· κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, εξήκοντα χιλιάδες και πεντακόσιοι.
28 The sons of Joseph by their kindred, Manasses and Ephraim.
Οι υιοί Ιωσήφ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν Μανασσής και Εφραΐμ.
29 Of Manasses was born Machir, of whom is the family of the Machirites. Machir beget Galaad, of whom is the family of the Galaadites.
Οι υιοί Μανασσή ήσαν, εκ Μαχείρ, η συγγένεια των Μαχειριτών. Και ο Μαχείρ εγέννησε τον Γαλαάδ· εκ δε του Γαλαάδ η συγγένεια των Γαλααδιτών·
30 Galaad had sons: Jezer, of whom is the family of the Jezerites: and Helec, of whom is the family of the Helecites:
ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Γαλαάδ· εξ Αχιέζερ, η συγγένεια των Αχιεζεριτών· εκ Χελέκ, η συγγένεια των Χελεκιτών·
31 And Asriel, of whom is the family of the Asrielites: and Sechem, of whom is the family of the Sechemites:
και εξ Ασριήλ, η συγγένεια των Ασριηλιτών· εκ Συχέμ, η συγγένεια των Συχεμιτών· και εκ Σεμιδά, η συγγένεια των Σεμιδαϊτών·
32 And Semida, of whom is the family of the Semidaites: and Hepher, of whom is the family of the Hepherites.
και εξ Εφέρ, η συγγένεια των Εφεριτών·
33 And Hepher was the father of Salphaad, who had no sons, but only daughters, whose names are these: Maala, and Noa, and Hegla, and Melcha, and Thersa.
και Σαλπαάδ, ο υιός του Εφέρ, δεν είχεν υιούς, αλλά θυγατέρας· τα δε ονόματα των θυγατέρων του Σαλπαάδ ήσαν Μααλά και Νουά, Αγλά, Μελχά και Θερσά.
34 These are the families of Manasses, and the number of them fifty-two thousand seven hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι Μανασσή· και η απαρίθμησις αυτών, πεντήκοντα δύο χιλιάδες και επτακόσιοι.
35 And the sons of Ephraim by their kindreds were these: Suthala, of whom is the family of the Suthalaites: Becher, of whom is the family of the Becherites: Thehen, of whom is the family of the Thehenites.
Ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Εφραΐμ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών· εκ Σουθαλά, η συγγένεια των Σουθαλαϊτών· εκ Βεχέρ, η συγγένεια των Βεχεριτών· εκ Ταχάν, η συγγένεια των Ταχανιτών·
36 Now the son of Suthala was Heran, of whom is the family of the Heranites.
και ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Σουθαλά· εξ Εράν, η συγγένεια των Ερανιτών.
37 These are the kindreds of the sons of Ephraim: whose number was thirty-two thousand five hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των υιών Εφραΐμ· κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, τριάκοντα δύο χιλιάδες και πεντακόσιοι. Ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Ιωσήφ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.
38 These are the sons of Joseph by their families. The sons of Benjamin in their kindreds: Bela, of whom is the family of the Belaites: Asbel, of whom is the family of the Asbelites: Ahiram, of whom is the family of the Ahiramites:
Οι υιοί Βενιαμίν κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εκ Βελά, η συγγένεια των Βελαϊτών· εξ Ασβήλ, η συγγένεια των Ασβηλιτών· εξ Αχιράμ, η συγγένεια των Αχιραμιτών·
39 Supham, of whom is the family of the Suphamites: Hupham, of whom is the family of the Huphamites.
εκ Σουφάμ, η συγγένεια των Σουφαμιτών· εξ Ουφάμ, η συγγένεια των Ουφαμιτών·
40 The sons of Bela: Hered, and Noeman. Of Hered, is the family of the Heredites: of Noeman, the family of tile Noemanites.
και οι υιοί Βελά ήσαν Αρέδ και Νααμάν· εξ Αρέδ, η συγγένεια των Αρεδιτών· εκ Νααμάν, συγγένεια των Νααμιτών.
41 These are the sons of Benjamin by their kindreds, whose number was forty-five thousand six hundred.
Ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Βενιαμίν κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών· και η απαρίθμησις αυτών ήτο τεσσαράκοντα πέντε χιλιάδες και εξακόσιοι.
42 The sons of Dan by their kindreds: Suham, of whom is the family of the Suhamites: These are the kindreds of Dan by their families.
Ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Δαν κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών· εκ Σουάμ, η συγγένεια των Σουαμιτών· αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι Δαν κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών·
43 All were Suhamites, whose number was sixty-four thousand four hundred.
πάσαι αι συγγένειαι των Σουαμιτών, κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, ήσαν εξήκοντα τέσσαρες χιλιάδες και τετρακόσιοι.
44 The sons of Aser by their kindreds: Jemna, of whom is the family of the Jemnaites: Jessui, of whom is the family of the Jessuites: Brie, of whom is the family of the Brieites.
Οι υιοί Ασήρ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εξ Ιεμνά, η συγγένεια των Ιεμνιτών· εξ Ιεσουΐ, η συγγένεια των Ιεσουϊτών· εκ Βεριά, η συγγένεια των Βεριαϊτών·
45 The sons of Brie: Heber, of whom is the family of the Heberites: and Melchiel, of whom is the family of the Melchielites.
εκ των υιών Βεριά ήσαν, εξ Έβερ, η συγγένεια των Εβεριτών· εκ Μαλχιήλ, η συγγένεια των Μαλχιηλιτών·
46 And the name of the daughter of Aser, was Sara.
και το όνομα της θυγατρός του Ασήρ ήτο Σάρα.
47 These are the kindreds of the sons of Aser, and their number fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των υιών Ασήρ κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, πεντήκοντα τρεις χιλιάδες και τετρακόσιοι.
48 The sons of Nephtali by their kindreds: Jesiel, of whom is the family of the Jesielites: Guni, of whom is the family of the Gunites:
Οι υιοί Νεφθαλί κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν, εξ Ιασιήλ, συγγένεια των Ιασιηλιτών· εκ Γουνί, η συγγένεια των Γουνιτών·
49 Jeser, of whom is the family of the Jeserites: Sellem, of whom is the family of the Sellemites.
εξ Ιεσέρ, η συγγένεια των Ιεσεριτών· εκ Σιλλήμ, η συγγένεια των Σιλλημιτών.
50 These are the kindreds of the sons of Nephtali by their families: whose number was forty-five thousand four hundred.
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι Νεφθαλί κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών· και απαρίθμησις αυτών ήτο τεσσαράκοντα πέντε χιλιάδες και τετρακόσιοι.
51 This is the sum of the children of Israel, that were reckoned up, six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Αύτη είναι η απαρίθμησις των υιών Ισραήλ, εξακόσιαι χιλιάδες και χίλιοι επτακόσιοι τριάκοντα.
52 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,
53 To these shall the land be divided for their possessions according to the number of names.
Εις τούτους θέλει μοιρασθή η γη εις κληρονομίαν κατά τον αριθμόν των ονομάτων αυτών·
54 To the greater number thou shalt give a greater portion, and to the fewer a less: to every one, as they have now been reckoned up, shall a possession be delivered:
εις τους περισσοτέρους θέλεις δώσει περισσοτέραν κληρονομίαν και εις τους ολιγωτέρους θέλεις δώσει ολιγωτέραν κληρονομίαν· εις έκαστον θέλει δοθή κληρονομία αυτού κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτού·
55 Yet so that by lot the land be divided to the tribe and families.
και η γη θέλει μοιρασθή διά κλήρων· κατά τα ονόματα των φυλών, κατά τας πατριάς αυτών, θέλουσι κληρονομήσει·
56 Whatsoever shall fall by lot, that shall be taken by the more, or the fewer.
κατά τον κλήρον θέλει μοιρασθή η κληρονομία αυτών μεταξύ πολλών και ολίγων.
57 This also is the number of the sons of Levi by their families: Gerson, of whom is the family of the Gersonites: Caath, of whom is the family of the Caathites: Merari, of whom is the family of the Merarites.
Και αύτη είναι η απαρίθμησις των Λευϊτών, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών· εκ Γηρσών, η συγγένεια των Γηρσωνιτών· εκ Καάθ, η συγγένεια των Κααθιτών· εκ Μεραρί, η συγγένεια των Μεραριτών.
58 These are the families of Levi: The family of Lobni, the family of Hebroni, the family of Moholi, the family of Musi, the family of Core. Now Caath beget Amram:
Αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των Λευϊτών· η συγγένεια των Λιβνιτών, η συγγένεια των Χεβρωνιτών, η συγγένεια των Μααλιτών, συγγένεια των Μουσιτών, η συγγένεια των Κοραϊτών· και ο Καάθ εγέννησε τον Αμράμ.
59 Who had to wife Jochabed the daughter of Levi, who was horn to him in Egypt. She bore to her husband Amram sons, Aaron and Moses, and Mary their sister.
Το δε όνομα της γυναικός του Αμράμ ήτο Ιωχαβέδ, θυγάτηρ του Λευΐ, ήτις εγεννήθη εις τον Λευΐ εν Αιγύπτω· και εγέννησεν εις τον Αμράμ τον Ααρών και τον Μωϋσήν και Μαριάμ την αδελφήν αυτών.
60 Of Aaron were born Nadab and Abiu, and Eleazar and Ithamar:
Και εγεννήθησαν εις τον Ααρών Ναδάβ και Αβιούδ, Ελεάζαρ και Ιθάμαρ.
61 Of whom Nadab and Abiu died, when they had offered the strange fire before the Lord.
Απέθανον δε ο Ναδάβ και ο Αβιούδ, ότε προσέφεραν πυρ ξένον ενώπιον του Κυρίου.
62 And all that were numbered, were twenty-three thousand males from one month old and upward: for they were not reckoned up among the children of Israel, neither was a possession given to them with the rest.
Και η απαρίθμησις αυτών ήτο εικοσιτρείς χιλιάδες, παν αρσενικόν από ενός μηνός και επάνω· διότι δεν απηριθμήθησαν μεταξύ των υιών Ισραήλ, επειδή δεν εδόθη εις αυτούς κληρονομία μεταξύ των υιών Ισραήλ.
63 This is the number of the children of Israel, that were enrolled by Moses and Eleazar the priest, in the plains of Moab upon the Jordan, over against Jericho.
Ούτοι είναι οι απαριθμηθέντες διά του Μωϋσέως και Ελεάζαρ του ιερέως, οίτινες απηρίθμησαν τους υιούς Ισραήλ εις τας πεδιάδας Μωάβ παρά τον Ιορδάνην κατέναντι της Ιεριχώ.
64 Among whom there was not one of them that were numbered before by Moses and Aaron in the desert of Sinai.
Μεταξύ δε τούτων δεν ευρίσκετο άνθρωπος εκ των απαριθμηθέντων υπό του Μωϋσέως και Ααρών του ιερέως, ότε απηρίθμησαν τους υιούς Ισραήλ εν τη ερήμω Σινά.
65 For the Lord had foretold that they should die in the wilderness. And none remained of them, but Caleb the son of Jephone, and Josue the son of Nun.
Διότι ο Κύριος είπε περί αυτών, Εξάπαντος θέλουσιν αποθάνει εν τη ερήμω. Και δεν εναπελείφθη εξ αυτών ουδείς, ει μη Χάλεβ ο υιός του Ιεφοννή και Ιησούς ο υιός του Ναυή.
