but he that shall drink of the water that I will give him, shall not thirst for ever: But the water that I will give him, shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting. (aiōn , aiōnios )
But those who drink the water I give won't ever be thirsty again. The water I give becomes a bubbling spring of water inside them, bringing them eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life everlasting: that both he that soweth, and he that reapeth, may rejoice together. (aiōnios )
The reaper is being paid and harvesting a crop for eternal life so that both the sower and the reaper can celebrate. (aiōnios )
Amen, amen I say unto you, that he who heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath life everlasting; and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life. (aiōnios )
I tell you the truth: those who follow what I say and trust the one who sent me have eternal life. They won't be condemned, but have gone from death to life. (aiōnios )
Search the scriptures, for you think in them to have life everlasting; and the same are they that give testimony of me. (aiōnios )
You search the Scriptures because you think that through them you'll gain eternal life. But the evidence they give is in support of me! (aiōnios )
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed. (aiōnios )
Don't be preoccupied about food that doesn't last, but concentrate on the lasting food of eternal life which the Son of man will give you, for God the Father has placed his seal of approval on him.” (aiōnios )
And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth in him, may have life everlasting, and I will raise him up in the last day. (aiōnios )
What my Father wants is for everyone who sees the Son and trusts in him to have eternal life, and for me to raise them up at the last day.” (aiōnios )
Amen, amen I say unto you: He that believeth in me, hath everlasting life. (aiōnios )
I tell you the truth: anyone who trusts in him has eternal life. (aiōnios )
I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world. (aiōn )
I am the life-giving bread from heaven, and anyone who eats this bread will live forever. The bread is my flesh that I give so that the world may live.” (aiōn )
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. (aiōnios )
Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. (aiōnios )
This is the bread that came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead. He that eateth this bread, shall live for ever. (aiōn )
Now this is the bread that came down from heaven, not the kind your forefathers ate and still died. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn )
And Simon Peter answered him: Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. (aiōnios )
Simon Peter answered, “Lord, who would we follow? You're the one who has the words of eternal life. (aiōnios )
Now the servant abideth not in the house for ever; but the son abideth for ever. (aiōn )
A slave doesn't have a permanent place in the family, but the son is part of the family forever. (aiōn )
Amen, amen I say to you: If any man keep my word, he shall not see death for ever. (aiōn )
I tell you the truth, anyone who follows my teaching will never die.” (aiōn )
The Jews therefore said: Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest: If any man keep my word, he shall not taste death for ever. (aiōn )
“Now we know you're demon-possessed,” said the Jews. “Abraham died, and the prophets did too, and you're telling us ‘anyone who follows my teaching will never die’! (aiōn )
From the beginning of the world it hath not been heard, that any man hath opened the eyes of one born blind. (aiōn )
Never before in the whole of history has anyone heard of a man born blind being healed. (aiōn )
And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
I give them eternal life; they shall never be lost, and no one can snatch them from me. (aiōn , aiōnios )
And every one that liveth, and believeth in me, shall not die for ever. Believest thou this? (aiōn )
All who live in me and trust in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (aiōn )
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, keepeth it unto life eternal. (aiōnios )
If you love your own life you will lose it, but if you don't love your own life in this world you will keep your life forever. (aiōnios )
The multitude answered him: We have heard out of the law, that Christ abideth for ever; and how sayest thou: The Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man? (aiōn )
The crowd responded, “The Law tells us that the Messiah will live forever, so how can you say the Son of man must be ‘lifted up’? Who is this ‘Son of man’?” (aiōn )
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father said unto me, so do I speak. (aiōnios )
I know that what he told me to say brings eternal life—so whatever I say is what the Father told me.” (aiōnios )
Peter saith to him: Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him: If I wash thee not, thou shalt have no part with me. (aiōn )
“No!” Peter protested. “You'll never wash my feet!” Jesus replied, “If I don't wash you, you have no part with me.” (aiōn )
And I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Paraclete, that he may abide with you for ever. (aiōn )
I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, (aiōn )
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. (aiōnios )
For you gave him authority over all people so that he might give eternal life to all those you have given to him. (aiōnios )
Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios )
Eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. (aiōnios )
Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, nor suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. (Hadēs )
For you will not abandon me in the grave, nor will you allow your Holy One to experience decay. (Hadēs )
Foreseeing this, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ. For neither was he left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
David saw what would happen and spoke about the resurrection of Christ—for Christ was not abandoned to the grave nor did he experience decay. (Hadēs )
Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world. (aiōn )
For he must stay in heaven until the time when everything is restored, as God announced through his holy prophets long ago. (aiōn )
Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly: To you it behoved us first to speak the word of God: but because you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold we turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios )
So Paul and Barnabas spoke out strongly, saying “We had to speak the word of God to you first. But now that you're rejecting it—you're deciding that you're not worthy of eternal life—well now we're turning to the foreigners. (aiōnios )
And the Gentiles hearing it, were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to life everlasting, believed. (aiōnios )
When the foreigners heard this they were overjoyed, praising the Lord's word, and all those chosen for eternal life trusted in God. (aiōnios )
To the Lord was his own work known from the beginning of the world. (aiōn )
This is what the Lord says, who revealed these things long ago.’ (aiōn )
For the invisible things of him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made; his eternal power also, and divinity: so that they are inexcusable. (aïdios )
Ever since the creation of the world, the invisible aspects of God—his eternal power and divinity—are clearly visible in what he has made. Such people have no excuse, (aïdios )
Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
They exchanged God's truth for a lie, worshiping and serving creatures instead of the Creator, who deserves praise forever. Amen. (aiōn )
To them indeed, who according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life: (aiōnios )
Those who have kept on trying to do what is good and right will receive glory and honor, immortality and eternal life. (aiōnios )
That as sin hath reigned to death; so also grace might reign by justice unto life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
Just as sin ruled us and brought us death, now grace rules by making us right with God, bringing us eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end life everlasting. (aiōnios )
But now that you're set free from sin, and have become God's slaves, the results will be a pure life—and in the end, eternal life. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting, in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
The wage sin pays is death, but God's free gift is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
Whose are the fathers, and of whom is Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all things, God blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
They are our forefathers—ancestors of Christ, humanly-speaking, the one who rules over everything, the eternally-blessed God. Amen. (aiōn )
Or who shall descend into the deep? that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead. (Abyssos )
or “‘who'll go to the place of the dead?’ (asking to bring Christ back from the dead).” (Abyssos )
For God hath concluded all in unbelief, that he may have mercy on all. (eleēsē )
For God treated everyone as prisoners because of their disobedience so that he could be merciful to everyone. (eleēsē )
For of him, and by him, and in him, are all things: to him be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Everything comes from him, everything exists through him, and everything is for him. Glory to him forever, Amen! (aiōn )
And be not conformed to this world; but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and the acceptable, and the perfect will of God. (aiōn )
Don't follow the ways of this world; instead be transformed by the spiritual renewal of your mind so you can demonstrate what God's will really is—good, pleasing, and perfect. (aiōn )
Now to him that is able to establish you, according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret from eternity, (aiōnios )
Now to him who can make you strong Through the good news I share and the message of Jesus Christ, According to the mystery of truth that has been revealed, The mystery of truth, hidden for eternity, (aiōnios )
(Which now is made manifest by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the precept of the eternal God, for the obedience of faith, ) known among all nations; (aiōnios )
now made visible; Through the prophets' writings, and Following the command of the eternal God, The mystery of truth is made known to everyone everywhere so they can trust and obey him; (aiōnios )
To God the only wise, through Jesus Christ, to whom be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
To the one and only wise God, Through Jesus Christ— To him be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? (aiōn )
So how about the wise, the writers, and the philosophers of this age? Hasn't God turned the wisdom of this world into foolishness? (aiōn )
Howbeit we speak wisdom among the perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, neither of the princes of this world that come to nought; (aiōn )
However, we do use words of wisdom when we speak to those who are spiritually mature, but this isn't wisdom that comes from this world, or from the rulers of this world who soon fade from the scene. (aiōn )
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, a wisdom which is hidden, which God ordained before the world, unto our glory: (aiōn )
On the contrary we explain God's wisdom in terms of a revealed mystery that was previously hidden which God planned for our glory before the creation of the worlds. (aiōn )
Which none of the princes of this world knew; for if they had known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
None of the rulers of this world understood anything about this—for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
Let no man deceive himself: if any man among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn )
Don't deceive yourselves. If there's anyone of you who thinks they're worldly wise, they should become fools so they can become truly wise! (aiōn )
Wherefore, if meat scandalize my brother, I will never eat flesh, lest I should scandalize my brother. (aiōn )
So if eating food sacrificed to idols would cause my fellow believer to stumble, I will never eat such meat ever again, so that I don't offend any believer. (aiōn )
Now all these things happened to them in figure: and they are written for our correction, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (aiōn )
All the things that happened to them are examples to us and were written down to warn us, we who are living close to the end of time. (aiōn )
O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? (Hadēs )
Death—where's your victory? Death—where's your sting?” (Hadēs )
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them. (aiōn )
The god of this world has blinded the minds of those who don't trust in God. They can't see the light of the good news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (aiōn )
For that which is at present momentary and light of our tribulation, worketh for us above measure exceedingly an eternal weight of glory. (aiōnios )
These trivial troubles we have only last for a little while, but they produce for us an ever-increasing degree of glory. (aiōnios )
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen, are temporal; but the things which are not seen, are eternal. (aiōnios )
We don't concern ourselves with what can be seen, for we look forward to what can't be seen. What we see is temporary, but what we can't see is eternal. (aiōnios )
For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven. (aiōnios )
We know that when this earthly “tent” we live in is taken down, we have a house prepared by God, not made by human hands. It is eternal and is in heaven. (aiōnios )
As it is written: He hath dispersed abroad, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever. (aiōn )
As Scripture says, “He gives generously to the poor; his generosity is everlasting.” (aiōn )
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for ever, knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn )
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus—may he be praised forever—knows I am not lying. (aiōn )
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present wicked world, according to the will of God and our Father: (aiōn )
Jesus gave himself for our sins to set us free from this current world of evil, following the will of our God and Father. (aiōn )
To whom is glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
To him be glory forever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting. (aiōnios )
If you sow according to your sinful human nature, from that nature you'll reap self-destruction. But if you sow according to the Spirit, from the Spirit you'll reap eternal life. (aiōnios )
Above all principality, and power, and virtue, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. (aiōn )
far above any other ruler, authority, power, or lord, or any leader with all their titles—not only in this world, but also in the coming world too. (aiōn )
Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief: (aiōn )
living your lives according to the ways of the world, under the control of the devil, whose spirit is at work in those who disobey God. (aiōn )
That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
so that in all eternity to come he could demonstrate the amazing extent of his grace in showing us kindness through Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
And to enlighten all men, that they may see what is the dispensation of the mystery which hath been hidden from eternity in God, who created all things: (aiōn )
and to help everyone see the purpose of the mystery which from the very beginning was hidden in God who made everything. (aiōn )
According to the eternal purpose, which he made, in Christ Jesus our Lord: (aiōn )
This was in accordance with God's eternal purpose that he carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn )
To him be glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus unto all generations, world without end. Amen. (aiōn )
may he be glorified in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. (aiōn )
We're not fighting against human forces, but against supernatural rulers and powers, the dark lords of this world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. (aiōn )
Now to God and our Father be glory world without end. Amen. (aiōn )
Glory be to God the Father, forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
The mystery which hath been hidden from ages and generations, but now is manifested to his saints, (aiōn )
This is the mystery that was hidden down through the ages and for many generations, but it's now been revealed to God's people. (aiōn )
Who shall suffer eternal punishment in destruction, from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his power: (aiōnios )
They will rightly experience the consequence of eternal loss, separated from the presence of the Lord and his glorious power, (aiōnios )
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God and our Father, who hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope in grace, (aiōnios )
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God the Father (who through his grace gave us eternal confidence and a trustworthy hope), (aiōnios )
But for this cause have I obtained mercy: that in me first Christ Jesus might shew forth all patience, for the information of them that shall believe in him unto life everlasting. (aiōnios )
For this reason I was shown mercy—since I'm the worst sinner, Jesus Christ could demonstrate his infinite patience as an example to those who choose to trust in him and gain eternal life. (aiōnios )
Now to the king of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Honor and glory forever and ever to the eternal King, the immortal, invisible, and only God! Amen. (aiōn )
Fight the good fight of faith: lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art called, and hast confessed a good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Fight the good fight as you trust in God. Hold on tightly to the eternal life to which you were called. This is what you promised to do in front of many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Who only hath immortality, and inhabiteth light inaccessible, whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and empire everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios )
He is the only one who is immortal, and lives in unapproachable light. No one has seen him or can see him—honor and eternal power is his! Amen. (aiōnios )
Charge the rich of this world not to be highminded, nor to trust in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, (who giveth us abundantly all things to enjoy, ) (aiōn )
Warn those who are rich in the present world not to become proud. Tell them not to place their trust in wealth that is so insecure but in God who so freely gives us everything for our enjoyment. (aiōn )
Who hath delivered us and called us by his holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the times of the world. (aiōnios )
He is the one who has saved us and called us to live a holy life—not through what we do, but by God's own plan and through his grace. (aiōnios )
Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory. (aiōnios )
Despite all this I'm willing to keep on going for the sake of God's people so that they may gain the salvation of Christ Jesus that is eternal glory. (aiōnios )
For Demas hath left me, loving this world, and is gone to Thessalonica: Crescens into Galatia, Titus into Dalmatia. (aiōn )
Demas has abandoned me because he loves the things of this world more, and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
The Lord hath delivered me from every evil work: and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
The Lord will rescue me from all the evil things done against me, and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. His is the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Unto the hope of life everlasting, which God, who lieth not, hath promised before the times of the world: (aiōnios )
This gives them the hope of eternal life that God (who cannot lie) promised ages ago, (aiōnios )
Instructing us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and justly, and godly in this world, (aiōn )
It teaches us to reject a godless way of life with the desires of this world. Instead we should live thoughtful, self-controlled lives that are right before God in the present world (aiōn )
That, being justified by his grace, we may be heirs, according to hope of life everlasting. (aiōnios )
Now that we are set right by his grace we have become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )
For perhaps he therefore departed for a season from thee, that thou mightest receive him again for ever: (aiōnios )
Maybe you lost him for a while so that you could have him back forever! (aiōnios )
In these days hath spoken to us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world. (aiōn )
has in these last days spoken to us through his Son. God appointed the Son heir of everything, and made the universe through him. (aiōn )
But to the Son: Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of justice is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (aiōn )
but about the Son he says, “Your throne, God, lasts forever and ever, and justice is the ruling scepter of your kingdom. (aiōn )
As he saith also in another place: Thou art a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchisedech. (aiōn )
In another verse, God says, “You are a priest forever, following the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation. (aiōnios )
When his experience was complete, he became the source of eternal salvation to everyone who does what he says, (aiōnios )
Of the doctrine of baptisms, and imposition of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
or teachings about baptism, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
Have moreover tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (aiōn )
who had known God's good word and the power of the coming age— (aiōn )
Where the forerunner Jesus is entered for us, made a high priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedech. (aiōn )
That's where Jesus went in on our behalf, because he had become a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
For he testifieth: Thou art a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchisedech. (aiōn )
That's why it says, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
But this with an oath, by him that said unto him: The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever.) (aiōn )
But he became a priest with an oath because God told him, “The Lord has taken a solemn vow and will not change his mind: You are a priest forever.” (aiōn )
But this, for that he continueth for ever, hath an everlasting priesthood, (aiōn )
but since Jesus lives forever, his priesthood is permanent. (aiōn )
For the law maketh men priests, who have infirmity: but the word of the oath, which was since the law, the Son who is perfected for evermore. (aiōn )
The law appoints imperfect men as high priests, but God gave his solemn vow after the law, and appointed his Son, perfect forever. (aiōn )
Neither by the blood of goats, or of calves, but by his own blood, entered once into the holies, having obtained eternal redemption. (aiōnios )
He didn't enter through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood. He entered once, for all time, into the Most Holy Place, setting us free forever. (aiōnios )
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who by the Holy Ghost offered himself unspotted unto God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God? (aiōnios )
how much more does the blood of Christ—who offered himself in his sinless life to God through the eternal Spirit—clean your consciences from your past sinful lives so you can serve the living God? (aiōnios )
And therefore he is the mediator of the new testament: that by means of his death, for the redemption of those transgressions, which were under the former testament, they that are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (aiōnios )
This is why he is the mediator of a new agreed relationship. Since a death has occurred to set them free from the sins committed under the first agreed relationship, now those who are called can receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. (aiōnios )
For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world: but now once at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin, by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn )
Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. No: just this one time at the end of the present age he came to remove sin by sacrificing himself. (aiōn )
By faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God; that from invisible things visible things might be made. (aiōn )
Through our trust in God we understand that the whole universe was created by God's command, that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ, yesterday, and today; and the same for ever. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (aiōn )
And may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great pastor of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, in the blood of the everlasting testament, (aiōnios )
Now may the God of peace who raised our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, from the dead, with the blood of an eternal agreement— (aiōnios )
Fit you in all goodness, that you may do his will; doing in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
may he provide you with all that is good so you can do his will. May he work in us, doing everything that pleases him, through Jesus Christ—glory to him forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is placed among our members, which defileth the whole body, and inflameth the wheel of our nativity, being set on fire by hell. (Geenna )
And the tongue is a fire! The tongue is a world of evil among the parts of the body. It disgraces all you are as a person, and can burn down the whole of your life, since it is set on fire by Gehenna. (Geenna )
Being born again not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, by the word of God who liveth and remaineth for ever. (aiōn )
You've been born again, not the product of a mortal “seed,” but immortal, through the living, eternal word of God. (aiōn )
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel hath been preached unto you. (aiōn )
But the word of the Lord remains forever.” This word is the good news that was explained to you. (aiōn )
If any man speak, let him speak, as the words of God. If any man minister, let him do it, as of the power, which God administereth: that in all things God may be honoured through Jesus Christ: to whom is glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Anyone who speaks should do so as though God is speaking through them. Anyone who wants to help others should do so through the strength that God gives, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. May glory and power be his forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you. (aiōnios )
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you into his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore you, support you, strengthen you, and give you a solid foundation. (aiōnios )
To him be glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
To him be power forever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
For so an entrance shall be ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
You will receive a tremendous welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment: (Tartaroō )
For God didn't even spare the angels when they sinned. He threw them into Tartarus, holding them in dark pits ready for judgment. (Tartaroō )
