Matthew 23
1 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples,
୧ଜିସୁ ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ ଆରି ତେଇ ରୁଣ୍ଡି ରଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା,
2 Saying: The scribes and the Pharisees have sitten on the chair of Moses.
୨“ପାରୁସି ଆରି ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁମନ୍କେ ମସାର୍ ନିୟମର୍ ଅରତ୍ ବୁଜାଇ ଦେବାର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
3 All things therefore whatsoever they shall say to you, observe and do: but according to their works do ye not; for they say, and do not.
୩ସେମନ୍ ଜାଇଟା କର୍ବାକେ କଇଲାଇନି, ସେଟା କରା, ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ ଜାଇ ଜାଇଟା କଲାଇନି, ସେଟା ଦେକି ସେନ୍ତାରି କରାନାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସେମନ୍ ନିଜେ ଜନ୍ ସିକିଆ ଦେବାଇ, ତାର୍ ଉଲ୍ଟା କର୍ବାଇ ।
4 For they bind heavy and insupportable burdens, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but with a finger of their own they will not move them.
୪ସେମନ୍ ତାକର୍ ସିକିଆ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ପିଟି ଉପ୍ରେ ବେସି ବଜ୍ ପାରା ଲାଦିଦେବାଇ । ମାତର୍ ସେ ସବୁ ବଜର୍ ନିୟମ୍, ଚିନି ଆଙ୍ଗ୍ଟିତେଇ ଉଟାଇବା ଏତ୍କି ମିସା ସାଇଜ ନ କରତ୍ ।
5 And all their works they do for to be seen of men. For they make their phylacteries broad, and enlarge their fringes.
୫ସେମନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଦେକାଇଅଇବାକେ ସବୁ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାଇ । ସାସ୍ତର୍ ପଦ୍ ଲେକାଅଇଲା କେଡେ କେଡେ ବଡ୍ ବଡ୍ ଡଅଁରାମନ୍ କାପାଲେ ଆରି ପଡିଆଇ ବାନ୍ଦିଅଇ ଆଚତ୍ । ଆରି ଦେକା, ସେମନର୍ ବସ୍ତରର୍ ଜାଲି କେତେକ୍ ଡେଙ୍ଗ୍ ।
6 And they love the first places at feasts, and the first chairs in the synagogues,
୬ସେମନ୍ ବଜିମନ୍କେ ମୁକିଅ ଜାଗାଇ ଆରି ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେ ବାଚିଅଇରଇଲା ଜାଗା ଅଦିକାର୍ କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ବାଇ ।
7 And salutations in the market place, and to be called by men, Rabbi.
୭ଆଟେ ବାଟେ ଆରି ଦୁକାନେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ ମାନିକରି ଜୁଆର୍ କରତ୍ ଆରି ‘ଗୁରୁ’ ବଲି ଡାକତ୍, ଏନ୍ତାରି ସେମନ୍ ମନ୍ କର୍ବାଇ ।
8 But be not you called Rabbi. For one is your master; and all you are brethren.
୮ମାତର୍ ତମ୍କେ କେ ଗୁରୁ ବଲି ଡାକ୍ବାର୍ ଦର୍କାର୍ ନାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ବାଇ, ଆରି ତମର୍ ଗୁରୁ ଗଟେକ୍ ସେ ।
9 And call none your father upon earth; for one is your father, who is in heaven.
୯ଆରି ଜଗତେ ତମେ କାକେ ବାବା ବଲି ଡାକ୍ବାକେ ଦର୍କାର୍ ନାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ତମର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ସେ ବାବା, ସେ ସର୍ଗେ ଆଚେ ।
10 Neither be ye called masters; for one is you master, Christ.
୧୦ତମ୍କେ ନେତା ବଲି ମିସା କେ ନ ଡାକତ୍, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ ସେ ନେତା, ସେ ଅଇଲାନି ମାପ୍ରୁ ମସିଅ ।
11 He that is the greatest among you shall be your servant.
୧୧ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜେ ସବୁର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ମୁକିଅ, ସେ ତମର୍ ସେବା କର ।
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled: and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
୧୨ଜେ ନିଜ୍କେ ବଡ୍ ବଲି କଇସି, ତାକେ ସାନ୍ କରାଅଇସି ଆରି ଜେ ନିଜ୍କେ ସାନ୍ ବଲି ବାବ୍ସି, ତାକେ ବଡ୍ କରାଅଇସି ।”
13 But woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men, for you yourselves do not enter in; and those that are going in, you suffer not to enter.
୧୩“ଅଇରେ ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ସେସ୍ବେଲେ ତମର୍ ଦସା କେତେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଇସି! ଏଇ ଟକାବଣ୍ଡା ଦଲ୍, ସରଗ୍ ରାଇଜେ କେଟ୍ବା ଦୁଆର୍ ତମେ ଡାବିଦେଇଆଚାସ୍! ନିଜେ ତେଇ କେଟାସ୍ ନାଇ ଆରି ଜନ୍ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତେଇ କେଟ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲାଇନି, ସେମନ୍କେ ବାଟ୍ ଚାଡାସ୍ ନାଇ ।”
14 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: because you devour the houses of widows, praying long prayers. For this you shall receive the greater judgment.
୧୪“ଏ କୁଟିଆଲ୍ ଦରମ୍ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ତମର୍ ଇନସ୍ତା କେତେକ୍ କାକୁର୍ତି ଅଇସି । ତମେ ଚାଲାକି ଅଇକରି ଜବର୍ ପର୍ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ସା । ମାତର୍ ରାଣ୍ଡି ମାଇଜିମନର୍ ଗର୍ମନ୍ ସବୁ ଦାପ୍ରେ ଗିଲିଦେଇସା । ତେବେ ତମ୍କେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ଦିଆଅଇସି ।”
15 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you go round about the sea and the land to make one proselyte; and when he is made, you make him the child of hell twofold more than yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
୧୫ଏ ଟକାବଣ୍ଡା ଦରମ୍ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ତମେ କେଡେ ଇନସ୍ତା ଅଇ କାକୁର୍ତି ଅଇସା । ସମ୍ଦୁର୍ ଲଙ୍ଗି ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ଦେସ୍ମନ୍କେ ଜାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ତମର୍ ଦରମ୍ଟାନେ ମିସାଇବାକେ କଜି ବୁଲ୍ଲାସ୍ନି । ମାତର୍ ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ମିଲାଇଲେ, ତାକେ ତମର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଅଦିକ୍, ନରକର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବାକେ ବାଚ୍ଲାସ୍ନି । (Geenna g1067)
16 Woe to you blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but he that shall swear by the gold of the temple, is a debtor.
୧୬ଏଇ ବାଟ୍ ଦେକାଉ କାଣାମନ୍! ତମର୍ ଦସା କେତେକ୍ ଇନସ୍ତା ଅଇସି । କେ ମନ୍ଦିରର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କଲେ, ସେଟା ସେମନ୍ ମାନ୍ବାର୍ ବାଦିଅ ନାଇ, ମାତର୍ ମନ୍ଦିରେ ରଇଲା ସୁନାର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ଜେ ପର୍ମାନ୍ କର୍ସି, ତାକେ ସେଟା ମାନ୍ବାକେ ପଡ୍ସି ବଲି ତମେ ସିକାଇତେ ରଇସା ।
17 Ye foolish and blind; for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
୧୭ଏଇ ବୁଦି ନ ରଇବା କାଣାମନ୍! ସୁନା ବଡ୍, କି ସୁନାକେ ସୁକଲ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇବା ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ବଡ୍?
18 And whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it, is a debtor.
୧୮ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ବେଦିର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କଲେ ସେ ସେଟା ମାନ୍ବାର୍ ଆକା ଆଚେ ବଲି ନଏଁ, ମାତର୍ ବେଦି ଉପ୍ରେ ସଙ୍ଗଇ ରଇବା ମାପ୍ରୁକେ ଦେଲାଟା ନାଉଁଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କଲେ, ସେଟା ମାନ୍ବାଟା ବଲି ତମେ ସିକାଇତେ ରଇସା ।
19 Ye blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
୧୯ତମେ କେଡେବଡ୍ କାଣାମନ୍! କନ୍ଟା ମୁକିଅ? ମାପ୍ରୁକେ ଦେଲାଟା କି, ମାପ୍ରୁକେ ଦେଲାଟା ସୁକଲ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇବା ବେଦି?
20 He therefore that sweareth by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things that are upon it:
୨୦ତେବର୍ ପାଇ କେ ମିସା ବେଦିର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କଲେ, ସେ ବେଦି ଆରି ତାର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ରଇବା ମାପ୍ରୁକେ ଦେଇ ରଇବା ସବୁ ଜିନିସ୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କର୍ସି ।
21 And whosoever shall swear by temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth in it:
୨୧କେ ମିସା ମନ୍ଦିରର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କଲେ, ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ଆରି ତେଇ ବାସା ଅଇରଇବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କର୍ସି ।
22 And he that sweareth by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
୨୨କେ ମିସା ସରଗର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କଲେ, ସେ ପରମେସରର୍ ବସ୍ବା ଜାଗା ଆରି ସେ ବସ୍ବା ଜାଗାଇ ବସି ରଇବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ପର୍ମାନ୍ କର୍ସି ।
23 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you tithe mint, and anise, and cummin, and have left the weightier things of the law; judgment, and mercy, and faith. These things you ought to have done, and not to leave those undone.
୨୩ଏଇ କୁଟିଆଲ୍ ଦରମ୍ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍, ତମର୍ ଦସା କେଡେ ଇନସ୍ତା ଆରି କାକୁର୍ତି ଅଇସି! ତମେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପାଇ ବଲି ସାନ୍ ସାନ୍ ଜିନିସ୍ ଅଇଲେ ମିସା ଦସ୍ବାଗ୍ ଅନି ବାଗେକ୍ ଦାନ୍ କର୍ସା, ମାତର୍ ନିଆଇ, ଦୟା, ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଏନ୍ତି ମୁକିଅ ମୁକିଅ ବିସଇର୍ ନିୟମର୍ ସିକିଆ ଏଲା କଲାସ୍ନି । ପୁର୍ବର୍ ମୁକିଅ ବିସଇ ଏଲା ନ କରି, ଏ ସବୁଜାକ ଆଗ୍ତୁଅନିସେ ଅବିଆସ୍ କର୍ବାର୍ ରଇଲା ।
24 Blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel.
୨୪ଏଇ ବାଟ୍ଦେକାଇବା କାଣା ଲକ୍ମନ୍! ତମେ କାଇବାବେଲେ କେଡେବଲ୍ ତେଇ କାଇଆଲେ କିଡା ଅଦ୍ରି ରଇସି ବଲି ସେଟା ଚାନି ପାକାଇତେ ରଇସା । ମାତର୍ ତମେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ବଡ୍ ପସୁକେ ମିସା ଗିଲି କାଇପାକାଇସା ।
25 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you make clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but within you are full of rapine and uncleanness.
୨୫ସାରାସାରି ଦିନେ ତମେ କେଡେ କାକୁର୍ତି ଅଇସା, ଏଇ କୁଟିଆଲ୍ ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ତମେ ଉପ୍ରେ ଉପ୍ରେ ତାଲାଗିନା ମାଜି ପରିଚଲ୍ କରିରଇସା, ମାତର୍ ସେ ବିତ୍ରେ ଇଁସା ଆରି ନିଜର୍ ବିସଇ ଚିନ୍ତା କର୍ବାଟା ବର୍ତି ଅଇରଇସି ।
26 Thou blind Pharisee, first make clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside may become clean.
୨୬ଏଇ କାଣା ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ମୁତାର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ରଇବାଟା ଆଗ୍ତୁ ପରିଚଲ୍ କରା, ସେନ୍ତାର୍ କଲେ ଉପ୍ରର୍ଟା ମିସା ପରିଚଲ୍ ଅଇଜାଇସି ।
27 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men’s bones, and of all filthiness.
୨୭ଏଇ ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ତମ୍କେ କେଡେ ବଡ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ମିଲ୍ସି । ଏଇ କୁଟିଆଲ୍ମନ୍! ତମେ ଉପ୍ରେ ଉପ୍ରେ ଚୁନ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରଇ ରଇବା ଗୁଡାମ୍ ପାରା । ଏଟାମନ୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ସୁନ୍ଦର୍ ଡିସ୍ସି, ମାତର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କୁଇଲା ମଡ୍ ଆରି ଆଡ୍ଗଡ୍ ବର୍ତି ଅଇରଇସି ।
28 So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just; but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
୨୮ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ତମେ ମିସା ବାଇରେ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଦେକ୍ତେ ଦରମ୍ ପାରା ଡିସ୍ତେରଇସା, ମାତର୍ ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କୁଟ୍ କାତା, ଆଁକାର୍, ଆରି ପାପ୍ ବର୍ତି ଅଇଆଚେ ।
29 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; that build the sepulchres of the prophets, and adorn the monuments of the just,
୨୯ଏଇ ଦରମ୍ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଆରି ପାରୁସିମନ୍! ଏ ଟକାବଣ୍ଡା କରୁମନ୍! ତମର୍ ପାଇ ଏଟା କେଡେକ୍ ଇନସ୍ତାର୍ ବିସଇ । ତମେ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନର୍ ପାଇ ସୁନ୍ଦର୍ ସୁନ୍ଦର୍ ସମାଦି ତିଆର୍ କଲାସ୍ନି ଆରି ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସବୁ ଦିନ୍ ଏତାଇବାକେ ନାଉଁ ଲେକି ଡସାଇଲାସ୍ନି ।
30 And say: If we had been in the days of our Fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
୩୦ଆରି ତମେସେ କଇଲାସ୍ନି ଜଦି ତମର୍ ଆନିଦାଦିମନର୍ ବେଲେ, ତମେ ରଇତାସ୍ ବଇଲେ, ସେମନର୍ ପାରା ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ନ କର୍ତାସ୍, କି ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍କେ ନ ମରାଇତାସ୍ ।
31 Wherefore you are witnesses against yourselves, that you are the sons of them that killed the prophets.
୩୧ଏ କାତା କଇଲାର୍ ପାଇ ତମେ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍କେ ମରାଉମନର୍ ନାତି ତିତିର୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଏବେ ମାନ୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
୩୨ତେବେ ତମେ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ଉଆ । ତମର୍ ଆନିଦାଦିମନ୍ କରିରଇବା କର୍ତା କାମ୍ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ସାରାଇ ଦିଆସ୍ ।
୩୩ଏଇ ସାଁପ୍ମନ୍! ବିସ୍ରଇବା ସାଁପର୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ପାରା ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ତମେ କେନ୍ତି ନରକର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡେଅନି ରକିଆ ମିଲ୍ସି ବଲି ଆସା କଲାସ୍ନି? (Geenna g1067)
34 Therefore behold I send to you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you will put to death and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city:
୩୪ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ କଇଲିନି, ତମର୍ ଲଗେ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍କେ, ସିକାଇବା ଗୁରୁମନ୍କେ ଆରି ଗିଆନ୍ ରଇବା ବଡ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମୁଇ ପାଟାଇବି । ତାକର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ତମେ କେତେ ଲକ୍କେ ମରାଇସା, କେତେ ଲକ୍କେ କୁର୍ସେ ଚଗାଇସା, ଆରି ବାକି ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେଅନି କର୍ଡା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମାରି ମାରି ଗଟେକ୍ ନଅରେ ଅନି ଆରିଗଟେକ୍ ନଅରେ କେଦି ଦେଇସା ।
35 That upon you may come all the just blood that hath been shed upon the earth, from the blood of Abel the just, even unto the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias, whom you killed between the temple and the altar.
୩୫ଜେନ୍ତିକି ଏବଲର୍ ବେଲେଅନି ଆରାମ୍ କରି ବର୍କିଆର୍ ପ ଜିକରିୟର୍ ଜାକ, ଜାକେ କି ତମେ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ଆରି ବେଦିର୍ ମଜାଇ ମରାଇରଇଲାସ୍, ଦସ୍ ନ କରିରଇବା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମରାଇଲା ପାଇ ତମେ ଦସିଅଇ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇସା ।
36 Amen I say to you, all these things shall come upon this generation.
୩୬ମୁଇ ସତ୍ କଇଲିନି, ଏ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମରାଇଲା ପାଇ ଏ ଜୁଗର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବାଇ ।
37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered together thy children, as the hen doth gather her chickens under her wings, and thou wouldest not?
୩୭ଏ ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍, ଏ ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍, ତୁଇ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍କେ ମରାଇଲୁସ୍ନି ଆରି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ପାଟାଇରଇଲା କବର୍ ଆନୁମନ୍କେ ପାକ୍ନା ମାରି ମରାଇଲୁସ୍ନି । ମାଇ କୁକ୍ଡା ତାର୍ ଟିଅଁମନ୍କେ ଡେନା ବିତ୍ରେ ଦାରି ଅଲଣ୍ଡ୍ଲାପାରା, ତର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମୁଇ ପାଟାଲି ରକିଆ କର୍ବାକେ କେତେ କେତେ ତର୍ ଚେସ୍ଟା କଲି । ମାତର୍ ମକେ ସେନ୍ତାରି କର୍ବାକେ ଦେଉସ୍ ନାଇ ।
38 Behold, you house shall be left to you, desolate.
୩୮ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ତର୍ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ବାଙ୍ଗିରୁଜି ଚିନ୍ବିନ୍ ଅଇଜାଇସି ।
39 For I say to you, you shall not see me henceforth till you say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
୩୯ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ କଇଲା କାତା ରଇସି, ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ଜେ ଆଇଲାନି, ସେ କେଡେ କରମର୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଏଟା ଜେବେ ଜାକ ନ କୁଆସ୍, ଆଜିଅନି ଆରି କେବେ ମକେ ଦେକି ନାପାରାସ୍ ।
