Luke 1
1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a narration of the things that have been accomplished among us;
प्रिय थियुफिलुस: बहुत सो न उन बातों ख जो हमरो बीच म बीती हंय, इतिहास लिखन म हाथ लगायो हय।
2 According as they have delivered them unto us, who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word:
जसो कि उन्न जो पहले सीच इन बातों ख देखन वालो अऊर सुसमाचार को प्रचार करन वालो न, हम तक पहुंचायो।
3 It seemed good to me also, having diligently attained to all things from the beginning, to write to thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
अऊर येकोलायी, मान्यवर थियुफिलुस मोख भी यो ठीक मालूम भयो कि उन सब बातों को पूरो हाल सुरूवात सी ठीक-ठीक जांच कर क्, उन्ख तोरो लायी एक को बाद एक लिखूं।
4 That thou mayest know the verity of those words in which thou hast been instructed.
मय असो येकोलायी कहू हय कि तोख हर वा चिज को बारे म पूरी सच्चायी मालूम होय जाये जो तोख सिखायी गयी हय।
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zachary, of the course of Abia; and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name Elizabeth.
यहूदिया को राजा हेरोदेस को समय अबिय्याह को दल म जकर्याह नाम को एक याजक होतो। अऊर ओकी पत्नी हारून को वंश की होती; जेको नाम इलीशिबा होतो।
6 And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.
हि दोयी परमेश्वर को आगु सच्चो होतो, अऊर प्रभु की पूरी आज्ञावों अऊर पूरी विधियों पर निर्दोष चलन वालो होतो।
7 And they had no son, for that Elizabeth was barren, and they both were well advanced in years.
उन्की कोयी भी सन्तान नहीं होती, कहालीकि इलीशिबा बांझ होती, अऊर हि दोयी बूढ्ढा होतो।
8 And it came to pass, when he executed the priestly function in the order of his course before God,
जब ऊ मन्दिर म अपनो दल की पारी पर परमेश्वर को आगु याजक को काम करत होतो,
9 According to the custom of the priestly office, it was his lot to offer incense, going into the temple of the Lord.
त याजकों की रीति को अनुसार ओको नाम की चिट्ठी निकली कि प्रभु को मन्दिर म जाय क धूप जलायेंन।
10 And all the multitude of the people was praying without, at the hour of incense.
धूप जलावन को समय लोगों की पूरी मण्डली बाहेर प्रार्थना कर रही होती।
11 And there appeared to him an angel of the Lord, standing on the right side of the alter of incense.
ऊ समय प्रभु को एक स्वर्गदूत धूप की वेदी को दायो तरफ जकर्याह ख प्रगट भयो दिखायी दियो।
12 And Zachary seeing him, was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
जकर्याह देख क घबरायो अऊर ओको पर बड़ो डर छाय गयो।
13 But the angel said to him: Fear not, Zachary, for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John:
पर स्वर्गदूत न ओको सी कह्यो, “हे जकर्याह, डरू मत! कहालीकि तोरी प्रार्थना सुन लियो हय, अऊर तोरी पत्नी इलीशिबा सी तोरो लायी एक बेटा पैदा होयेंन। अऊर तय ओको नाम यूहन्ना रखजो।
14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice in his nativity.
अऊर तोख बहुत खुशी होयेंन, अऊर बहुत लोग ओको जनम को वजह खुश होयेंन!
15 For he shall be great before the Lord; and shall drink no wine nor strong drink: and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
कहालीकि ऊ प्रभु को आगु महान होयेंन; अऊर नशा वालो अंगूररस अऊर मदिरा कभी नहीं पीयेंन; अऊर अपनी माय को गर्भ सीच पवित्र आत्मा सी परिपूर्ण होय जायेंन;
16 And he shall convert many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.
अऊर इस्राएलियों म सी बहुत सो ख उन्को प्रभु परमेश्वर को तरफ वापस लायेंन।
17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias; that he may turn the hearts of the fathers unto the children, and the incredulous to the wisdom of the just, to prepare unto the Lord a perfect people.
ऊ नबी एलिय्याह को जसो आत्मा अऊर सामर्थ म होय क प्रभु सी आगु निकल जायेंन। कि बाप को मन बाल-बच्चां को तरफ घुमाय देयेंन; अऊर आज्ञा नहीं मानन वालो ख धर्मियों की समझ पर लाये; अऊर प्रभु लायी एक लायक प्रजा तैयार करेंन।”
18 And Zachary said to the angel: Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.
जकर्याह न स्वर्गदूत सी पुच्छ्यो, “यो मय कसो जानु? कहालीकि मय त बूढ्ढा हय; अऊर मोरी पत्नी भी बूढ्ढी होय गयी हय।”
19 And the angel answering, said to him: I am Gabriel, who stand before God: and am sent to speak to thee, and to bring thee these good tidings.
स्वर्गदूत न ओख उत्तर दियो, “मय जिब्राईल आय, जो परमेश्वर को आगु खड़ो रहू हय; अऊर मय तोरो सी बाते करन अऊर तोख यो सुसमाचार सुनावन लायी भेज्यो गयो हय।
20 And behold, thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be able to speak until the day wherein these things shall come to pass, because thou hast not believed my words, which shall be fulfilled in their time.
देख, जब तक या बाते पूरी नहीं होय, तब तक तय मुक्का रहजो अऊर बोल नहीं सकजो, कहालीकि तय न मोरी बातों ख जो अपनो समय पर पूरी होन वाली होती, ओको पर विश्वास नहीं करयो।”
21 And the people were waiting for Zachary; and they wondered that he tarried so long in the temple.
लोग जकर्याह की रस्ता देखतच रह्यो अऊर अचम्भा करन लग्यो कि ओख मन्दिर म इतनी देर कहाली लगी।
22 And when he came out, he could not speak to them: and they understood that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he made signs to them, and remained dumb.
जब ऊ बाहेर आयो, त ओन उन्को सी बात नहीं कर सक्यो: येकोलायी हि जान गयो कि ओन मन्दिर म कोयी दर्शन पायो हय; अऊर ऊ अपनो हाथों सी उन्ख इशारा करतो रह्यो, अऊर मुक्का बन गयो।
23 And it came to pass, after the days of his office were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
जब जकर्याह को मन्दिर म को सेवा को दिन पूरो भयो, त ऊ अपनो घर चली गयो।
24 And after those days, Elizabeth his wife conceived, and hid herself five months, saying:
ऊ दिन को बाद सी ओकी पत्नी इलीशिबा गर्भवती भयी; अऊर पाच महीना तक अपनो आप ख यो कह्य क लूकाय क रख्यो,
25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he hath had regard to take away my reproach among men.
“आदमियों म मोरो अपमान को दूर करन लायी, प्रभु न इन दिनो म दयादृष्टि कर क् मोरो लायी असो करयो हय।”
26 And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth,
इलीशिबा को गर्भ धारन को छठवो महीना म परमेश्वर को तरफ सी जिब्राईल स्वर्गदूत, गलील को नासरत नगर म,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
एक कुंवारी को जवर भेज्यो गयो जेकी मंगनी यूसुफ नाम को दाऊद को घराना को एक पुरुष सी भयी होती: वा कुंवारी को नाम मरियम होतो।
28 And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
स्वर्गदूत न ओको जवर अन्दर आय क कह्यो, “खुशी अऊर आशीर्वाद तोरो संग हय, जेक पर ईश्वर को अनुग्रह भयो हय! प्रभु तोरो संग हय!”
29 Who having heard, was troubled at his saying, and thought with herself what manner of salutation this should be.
मरियम ऊ वचन सी बहुत परेशान भय गयी, अऊर सोचन लगी कि यो कसो तरह को अभिवादन आय?
30 And the angel said to her: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God.
स्वर्गदूत न ओको सी कह्यो, “हे मरियम, डरो मत, कहालीकि परमेश्वर को अनुग्रह तोरो पर भयो हय।
31 Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and shalt bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name Jesus.
देख, तय गर्भवती होजो, अऊर तोख एक बेटा पैदा होयेंन; तय ओको नाम यीशु रखजो।
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the most High; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of David his father;
ऊ महान होयेंन अऊर परमप्रधान परमेश्वर को बेटा कह्यो जायेंन, अऊर प्रभु परमेश्वर ओको बाप दाऊद को सिंहासन ओख देयेंन,
33 and he shall reign in the house of Jacob for ever. And of his kingdom there shall be no end. (aiōn g165)
अऊर ऊ याकूब को घरानों पर हमेशा राज करेंन; अऊर ओको राज्य कभी खतम नहीं होयेंन।” (aiōn g165)
34 And Mary said to the angel: How shall this be done, because I know not man?
मरियम न स्वर्गदूत सी कह्यो, “यो कसो होयेंन। मय त कोयी भी पुरुष ख जानु नहाय।”
35 And the angel answering, said to her: The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the most High shall overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
स्वर्गदूत न ओख उत्तर दियो, “पवित्र आत्मा तोरो पर उतरेंन, अऊर परमेश्वर जो सब सी ऊचो हय ओकी सामर्थ तोरो पर छायेंन; येकोलायी ऊ पवित्र जो पैदा होन वालो हय, परमेश्वर को बेटा कहलायेंन।
36 And behold thy cousin Elizabeth, she also hath conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her that is called barren:
अऊर देख, तोरी कुटुम्बिनी इलीशिबा ख भी बुढ़्ढापा म बेटा होन वालो हय, यो ओको, जो बांझ कहलावत होती ओको गर्भ धारन को छठवो महीना हय।
37 Because no word shall be impossible with God.
कहालीकि जो वचन परमेश्वर को तरफ सी होवय हय ऊ असम्भव नहीं होवय।”
38 And Mary said: Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
मरियम न कह्यो, “देख मय प्रभु की दासी आय, मोख तोरो वचन को अनुसार हो।” तब स्वर्गदूत ओको जवर सी चली गयो।
39 And Mary rising up in those days, went into the hill country with haste into a city of Juda.
उन दिनो म मरियम उठ क जल्दीच पहाड़ी देश म यहूदा को एक नगर ख गयी,
40 And she entered into the house of Zachary, and saluted Elizabeth.
ओन जकर्याह को घर म जाय क इलीशिबा ख नमस्कार करी।
41 And it came to pass, that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the infant leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
जसोच इलीशिबा न मरियम को नमस्कार सुन्यो, वसोच बच्चा ओको पेट म उछल्यो, अऊर इलीशिबा पवित्र आत्मा सी परिपूर्ण भय गयी।
42 And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
अऊर ओन बड़ो आवाज सी पुकार क कह्यो, “तय पूरी बाईयों म सब सी जादा आशीर्वाद हय, अऊर तोरो पेट को बच्चा आशीर्वाद हय!
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
यो अनुग्रह मोख कित सी भयो कि मोरो प्रभु की माय मोरो जवर आयी?
44 For behold as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy.
जसोच तोरो नमस्कार को आवाज मोरो कानो म पड़्यो, वसोच बच्चा मोरो पेट म खुशी सी उछल पड़्यो।
45 And blessed art thou that hast believed, because those things shall be accomplished that were spoken to thee by the Lord.
धन्य हय ऊ जेन विश्वास करयो कि जो बाते प्रभु को तरफ सी ओको सी कहीं गयी, हि पूरी होयेंन!”
46 And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord.
तब मरियम न कह्यो, “मोरो जीव प्रभु की बड़ायी करय हय
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
अऊर मोरी आत्मा मोरो उद्धार करन वालो परमेश्वर सी खुश भयी,
48 Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
कहालीकि ओन अपनी दासी पर नजर करी हय; येकोलायी देखो, अब सी पूरो युग-युग को लोग मोख धन्य कहेंन,
49 Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name.
कहालीकि ऊ सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर न मोरो लायी बड़ो बड़ो काम करयो हय। ओको नाम पवित्र हय,
50 And his mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear him.
एक पीढ़ी सी दूसरी पीढ़ी म, ऊ उन लोगों पर दया करय हय, जो ओको आदर करय हंय।
51 He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
ओन अपनो ताकतवर भुजा दिखायो, अऊर जो अपनो आप ख बड़ो समझत होतो, उन्ख तितर-बितर कर दियो।
52 He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble.
ओन राजावों ख उन्को सिंहासनों सी गिराय दियो; अऊर नम्र लोगों ख ऊंचो करयो।
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
ओन भूखो ख अच्छी चिजों सी सन्तुष्ट करयो, अऊर धनवानों ख खाली हाथ निकाल दियो।
54 He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy:
ओन अपनो सेवक इस्राएल ख सम्भाल लियो कि अपनो ऊ दया ख याद करेंन,
जो अब्राहम अऊर ओको वंश पर हमेशा रहेंन, जसो ओन हमरो बापदादों सी कह्यो होतो।” (aiōn g165)
56 And Mary abode with her about three months; and she returned to her own house.
मरियम लगभग तीन महीना इलीशिबा को संग रह्य क अपनो घर लौट गयी।
57 Now Elizabeth’s full time of being delivered was come, and she brought forth a son.
तब इलीशिबा को प्रसव को समय पूरो भयो, अऊर ओन बेटा ख जनम दियो।
58 And her neighbours and kinsfolks heard that the Lord had shewed his great mercy towards her, and they congratulated with her.
ओको पड़ोसियों अऊर कुटुम्बियों न यो सुन क कि प्रभु न ओको पर बड़ी दया करी हय, ओको संग खुशी मनायो।
59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they called him by his father’s name Zachary.
अऊर असो भयो कि आठवो दिन हि बच्चा को खतना करन आयो अऊर ओको नाम ओको बाप को नाम पर जकर्याह रखन लग्यो।
60 And his mother answering, said: Not so; but he shall be called John.
येको पर ओकी माय न उत्तर दियो, “नहीं; बल्की ओको नाम यूहन्ना रख्यो जाय।”
61 And they said to her: There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
उन्न ओको सी कह्यो, “तोरो कुटुम्ब म कोयी को यो नाम नहाय!”
62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
तब उन्न ओको बाप सी इशारा कर क् पुच्छ्यो कि तय ओको नाम का रखनो चाहवय हय?
63 And demanding a writing table, he wrote, saying: John is his name. And they all wondered.
जकर्याह न एक लिखन की पाटी मांगी अऊर लिख दियो, “ओको नाम यूहन्ना आय,” अऊर सब अचम्भित भयो।
64 And immediately his mouth was opened, and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, blessing God.
तब ओको मुंह अऊर जीबली तुरतच खुल गयी; अऊर ऊ बोलन अऊर परमेश्वर को महिमा करन लग्यो।
65 And fear came upon all their neighbours; and all these things were noised abroad over all the hill country of Judea.
ओको आजु बाजू को सब रहन वालो पर डर छाय गयो; अऊर उन सब बातों की चर्चा यहूदिया को पूरो पहाड़ी प्रदेश म फैल गयी,
66 And all they that had heard them laid them up in their heart, saying: What an one, think ye, shall this child be? For the hand of the Lord was with him.
अऊर सब सुनन वालो न अपनो-अपनो मन म बिचार कर क् कह्यो, “यो बच्चा कसो होयेंन?” कहालीकि प्रभु को हाथ ओको पर होतो।
67 And Zachary his father was filled with the Holy Ghost; and he prophesied, saying:
ओको बाप जकर्याह पवित्र आत्मा सी परिपूर्ण भय गयो, अऊर परमेश्वर को खबर देन लग्यो:
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; because he hath visited and wrought the redemption of his people:
“प्रभु इस्राएल को परमेश्वर की महिमा हो, कहालीकि ओन अपनो लोगों पर नजर करी अऊर उन्को छुटकारा करयो हय,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation to us, in the house of David his servant:
अऊर अपनो सेवक दाऊद को घराना म ओन हमरो लायी एक शक्तिशाली उद्धारकर्ता दियो हय,
ओन अपनो पवित्र भविष्यवक्तावों को द्वारा जो जगत को सुरूवात सी होत आयो हंय, कह्यो होतो, (aiōn g165)
71 Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us:
यानेकि हमरो दुश्मनों सी, अऊर हमरो सब दुश्मनों को हाथ सी हमरो उद्धार करयो हय,
72 To perform mercy to our fathers, and to remember his holy testament,
ओन कह्यो होतो कि अपनो पूर्वजों पर दया कर क् अपनी पवित्र वाचा ख याद करेंन,
73 The oath, which he swore to Abraham our father, that he would grant to us,
वा कसम ओन हमरो बाप अब्राहम सी खायी होती,
74 That being delivered from the hand of our enemies, we may serve him without fear,
कि हमरो दुश्मनों को हाथों सी हमरो छुटकारा हो अऊर बिना कोयी डर को प्रभु की सेवा करन की अनुमति मिले।
75 In holiness and justice before him, all our days.
ओको आगु पवित्रता अऊर सच्चायी सी जीवन भर निडर रह्य क ओकी सेवा करतो रहबो।
76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways:
अऊर तय मोरो बच्चा, परमप्रधान परमेश्वर जो सब सी ऊचो हय। भविष्यवक्ता कहलायेंन, कहालीकि तय प्रभु को रस्ता तैयार करन लायी ओको आगु-आगु चलेंन,
77 To give knowledge of salvation to his people, unto the remission of their sins:
कि ओको लोगों ख उद्धार को ज्ञान देयेंन, कि उन्को पापों की माफी सी होवय हय।
78 Through the bowels of the mercy of our God, in which the Orient from on high hath visited us:
यो हमरो परमेश्वर की बड़ी दया सी होयेंन; जेको वजह ऊपर सी हम पर उद्धार को प्रकाश उदय होयेंन,
79 To enlighten them that sit in darkness, and in the shadow of death: to direct our feet into the way of peace.
कि अन्धकार अऊर मरन की छाया म बैठन वालो ख उद्धार को प्रकाश देयेंन, अऊर हमरो पाय ख शान्ति को रस्ता म सीधो चलाये।”
80 And the child grew, and was strengthened in spirit; and was in the deserts until the day of his manifestation to Israel.
अऊर ऊ बच्चा बढ़तो अऊर आत्मा म बलवन्त होत गयो, अऊर इस्राएल पर प्रगट होन को दिन तक जंगल म रह्यो।
