Leviticus 13

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

௧பின்னும் யெகோவா மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி:

2 The man in whose skin or flesh shalt arise a different colour or a blister, or as it were something shining, that is, the stroke of the leprosy, shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or any one of his sons.

௨“ஒரு மனிதனுடைய உடலின்மேல் தொழுநோயைப்போலிருக்கிற ஒரு தடிப்பாவது, புண்ணின் தோலாவது, வெள்ளைப்படராவது உண்டானால், அவன் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனிடத்திலாகிலும், ஆசாரியர்களாகிய அவனுடைய மகன்களில் ஒருவனிடத்திலாகிலும் கொண்டுவரப்படக்கடவன்.

3 And if he see the leprosy in his skin, and the hair turned white, and the place where the leprosy appears lower than the skin and the rest of the flesh: it is the stroke of the leprosy, and upon his judgment he shall be separated.

௩அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அவனுடைய உடலின்மேல் இருக்கிற வியாதியைப் பார்க்கவேண்டும்; வியாதியுள்ள இடத்தில் முடி வெளுத்தும், வியாதியுள்ள இடம் அவனுடைய உடலின் மற்ற பகுதியைவிட அதிகமாகக் குழிந்தும் இருந்தால் அது தொழுநோய்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்தபின்பு, அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்.

4 But if there be a shining whiteness in the skin, and not lower than the other flesh, and the hair be of the former colour, the priest shall shut him up seven days.

௪அவனுடைய உடலின்மேல் வெள்ளைப்படர்ந்திருந்தாலும், அந்த இடம் அவனுடைய மற்றத் தோலைவிட அதிக பள்ளமாக இல்லாமலும், அதின் முடி வெள்ளையாக மாறாமலும் இருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

5 And the seventh day he shall look on him: and if the leprosy be grown no farther, and hath not spread itself in the skin, he shall shut him up again other seven days.

௫ஏழாம் நாளில் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; தோலில் வியாதி அதிகமாகாமல், அவன் பார்வைக்கு வியாதி நின்றிருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் இரண்டாவதுமுறை அவனை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

6 And on the seventh day, he shall look on him: if the leprosy be somewhat obscure, and not spread in the skin, he shall declare him clean, because it is but a scab: and the man shall wash his clothes, and shall be clean.

௬இரண்டாவதுமுறை அவனை ஏழாம் நாளில் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; தோலில் வியாதி அதிகமாகாமல் சுருங்கியிருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது தேமல்; அவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்துச் சுத்தமாக இருப்பானாக.

7 But if the leprosy grow again, after he was seen by the priest and restored to cleanness, he shall be brought to him,

௭தன்னைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கிறதற்கு அவன் தன்னை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பித்தபின்பு, தோலில் தேமல் அதிகமாகப் படர்ந்திருந்தால், அவன் மறுபடியும் ஆசாரியனுக்குத் தன்னைக் காண்பிக்கக்கடவன்.

8 And shall be condemned of uncleanness.

௮அப்பொழுது தோலிலே தேமல் படர்ந்தது என்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது தொழுநோய்.

9 If the stroke of the leprosy be in a man, he shall be brought to the priest,

௯“ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு தொழுநோய் இருந்தால், அவனை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்.

10 And he shall view him. And when there shall be a white colour in the skin, and it shall have changed the look of the hair, and the living flesh itself shall appear:

௧0அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்து, தோலிலே வெள்ளையான தடிப்பிருந்து, அது முடியை வெண்மையாக மாறச்செய்தது என்றும், அந்தத் தடிப்புள்ள இடத்திலே புண் உண்டென்றும் கண்டால்,

11 It shall be judged an inveterate leprosy, and grown into the skin. The priest therefore shall declare him unclean, and shall not shut him up, because he is evidently unclean.

௧௧அது அவனுடைய உடலிலுள்ள நாள்பட்ட தொழுநோய்; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன். ஆதலால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை அடைத்துவைக்காமல், தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்.

12 But if the leprosy spring out running about in the skin, and cover all the skin from the head to the feet, whatsoever falleth under the sight of the eyes,

௧௨ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கிற இடங்களெங்கும் தோலிலே தொழுநோய் தோன்றி, அந்த வியாதியுள்ளவனுடைய தலைமுதல் கால்வரை அது உடல்முழுவதையும் மூடியிருக்கக்கண்டால்,

13 The priest shall view him, and shall judge that the leprosy which he has is very clean: because it is all turned into whiteness, and therefore the man shall be clean.

௧௩அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் பார்த்து, தொழுநோய் அவன் உடல் முழுவதையும் மூடியிருந்தால், அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அவன் உடல்முழுவதும் வெண்மையாகிவிட்டதால், அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்.

14 But when the live flesh shall appear in him,

௧௪ஆனாலும், புண் அவனில் காணப்பட்டால், அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன்.

15 Then by the judgment of the priest he shall be defiled, and shall be reckoned among the unclean: for live flesh, if it be spotted with leprosy, is unclean.

௧௫ஆகையால், புண்ணை ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கும்போது, அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; புண் தீட்டுள்ளது; அது தொழுநோய்.

16 And if again it be turned into whiteness, and cover all the man,

௧௬அல்லது புண் மாறி வெண்மையானால், அவன் ஆசாரியனிடத்திற்கு வரவேண்டும்.

17 The priest shall view him, and shall judge him to be clean.

௧௭ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்து, வியாதியுள்ள இடம் வெண்மையாக மாறினதென்று கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்.

18 When also there has been an ulcer in the flesh and the skin, and it has been healed,

௧௮“உடலின்மேல் புண் உண்டாயிருந்து ஆறிப்போய்,

19 And in the place of the ulcer, there appeareth a white scar, or somewhat red, the man shall be brought to the priest:

௧௯அந்த இடத்திலே ஒரு வெள்ளைத்தடிப்பாவது சிவப்புக் கலந்த ஒரு வெள்ளைப்படராவது உண்டானால், அதை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும்.

20 And when he shall see the place of the leprosy lower than the other flesh, and the hair turned white, he shall declare him unclean, for the plague of leprosy is broken out in the ulcer.

௨0ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அந்த இடம் மற்ற தோலைவிட குழிந்திருக்கவும், அதின் முடி வெள்ளையாக மாறியிருக்கவும் கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கவேண்டும்; அது புண்ணில் உண்டான தொழுநோய்.

21 But if the hair be of the former colour, and the scar somewhat obscure, and be not lower than the flesh that is near it, he shall shut him up seven days.

௨௧ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அதில் வெள்ளைமுடி இல்லை என்றும், அது மற்ற தோலைவிட குழிந்திராமல் சுருங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றும் கண்டானாகில், அவனை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

22 And if it spread, he shall judge him to have the leprosy:

௨௨அது தோலில் அதிகமாகப் படர்ந்திருக்கக்கண்டால், அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது தொழுநோய்தான்.

23 But if it stay in its place, it is but the scar of an ulcer, and the man shall be clean.

௨௩அந்த வெள்ளைப்படர் அதிகமாகாமல், அந்த அளவில் நின்றிருக்குமானால், அது புண்ணின் தழும்பாயிருக்கும்; ஆகையால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்.

24 The flesh also and skin that hath been burnt, and after it is healed hath a white or a red scar,

௨௪“ஒருவனுடைய உடலின்மேல் நெருப்புப்பட்டதினாலே வெந்து, அந்த தீக்காயம் ஆறிப்போன இடத்திலே சிவப்பான படராவது வெண்மையான படராவது உண்டானால்,

25 The priest shall view it, and if he see it turned white, and the place thereof is lower than the other skin: he shall declare him unclean, because the evil of leprosy is broken out in the scar.

௨௫ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தப் படரிலே முடி வெண்மையாக மாறி, அந்த இடம் மற்ற தோலைவிட பள்ளமாக இருந்தால், அது தீக்காயத்தினால் உண்டான தொழுநோய்; ஆகையால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது தொழுநோய்தான்.

26 But if the colour of the hair be not changed, nor the blemish lower than the other flesh, and the appearance of the leprosy be somewhat obscure, he shall shut him up seven days,

௨௬ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்க்கிறபோது, படரிலே வெள்ளைமுடி இல்லை என்றும், அது மற்ற தோலைவிட குழிந்திராமல், சுருங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றும் கண்டானாகில், அவனை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

27 And on the seventh day he shall view him: if the leprosy be grown farther in the skin, he shall declare him unclean.

௨௭ஏழாம்நாளில் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அது தோலில் அதிகமாகப் படர்ந்திருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது தொழுநோய்.

28 But if the whiteness stay in its place, and be not very clear, it is the sore of a burning, and therefore he shall be cleansed, because it is only the scar of a burning.

௨௮படரானது தோலில் அதிகமாகாமல், அந்த அளவில் நின்று சுருங்கியிருந்ததானால், அது தீக்காயத்தினால் உண்டான தழும்பு; ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது சூட்டினால் வந்த தீக்காயம்.

29 If the leprosy break out in the head or the beard of a man or woman, the Priest shall see them,

௨௯“ஆணுக்காகிலும் பெண்ணுக்காகிலும் தலையிலாவது தாடியிலாவது ஒரு சொறி உண்டானால்,

30 And if the place be lower than the other flesh, and the hair yellow, and thinner than usual: he shall declare them unclean, because it is the leprosy of the head and the beard;

௩0ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அந்த இடம் மற்ற தோலைவிட பள்ளமும் அதிலே முடி பொன் நிறமும் மிருதுவாகவும் இருக்கக்கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அது தலையிலும் தாடியிலும் உண்டாகிற சொறிதொழுநோய்.

31 But if he perceive the place of the spot is equal with the flesh that is near it, and the hair black: he shall shut him up seven days,

௩௧ஆசாரியன் அந்தச் சொறிதொழுநோயைப் பார்க்கும்போது, அந்த இடம் மற்ற தோலைவிட பள்ளமாக இல்லாமலும், அதிலே கறுத்தமுடி இல்லாமலும் இருக்கக்கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

32 And on the seventh day he shall look upon it. If the spot be not grown, and the hair keep its colour, and the place of the blemish be even with the other flesh:

௩௨ஏழாம்நாளில் ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்ப்பானாக; அந்தச் சொறி படராமலும், அதிலே பொன்நிறமுடி இல்லாமலும், அந்த இடம் மற்றத் தோலைவிட பள்ளமில்லாமலும் இருந்தால்,

33 The man shall be shaven all but the place of the spot, and he shall be shut up other seven days:

௩௩அந்தச் சொறியுள்ள இடம்தவிர, மற்ற யாவையும் அவன் சிரைத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்; பின்பு, ஆசாரியன் இரண்டாவதுமுறை அவனை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

34 If on the seventh day the evil seem to have stayed in its place, and not lower than the other flesh, he shall cleanse him, and his clothes being washed he shall be clean.

௩௪ஏழாம்நாளில் அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; சொறி, தோலில் பரவாமலும், அந்த இடம் மற்றத் தோலைவிட பள்ளமில்லாமலும் இருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்தபின் சுத்தமாக இருப்பான்.

35 But if after his cleansing the spot spread again in the skin,

௩௫அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கப்பட்டபின்பு, அந்தச் சொறி, தோலில் இடங்கொண்டதானால்,

36 He shall seek no more whether the hair be turned yellow, because he is evidently unclean.

௩௬ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; சொறி தோலில் பரவியிருந்தால், அப்பொழுது முடி பொன்நிறமா அல்லவா என்று ஆசாரியன் விசாரிக்க வேண்டியதில்லை; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவனே.

37 But if the spot be stayed, and the hair be black, let him know that the man is healed, and let him confidently pronounce him clean.

௩௭அவன் பார்வைக்கு அந்தச் சொறி நீங்கி, அதில் கறுத்தமுடி முளைத்ததேயாகில், சொறி குணமாகிவிட்டது; அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்.

38 If a whiteness appear in the skin of a man or a woman,

௩௮“ஒரு ஆணுக்காகிலும் பெண்ணுக்காகிலும் அவர்கள் உடலின்மேல் வெள்ளைப் புள்ளிகள் உண்டாயிருந்தால்,

39 The priest shall view them. If he find that a darkish whiteness shineth in the skin, let him know that it is not the leprosy, but a white blemish, and that the man is clean.

௩௯ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவர்களுடைய உடலிலே மங்கின வெள்ளைப் புள்ளிகள் இருந்தால், அது தோலில் எழும்புகிற வெள்ளைத்தேமல்; அவர்கள் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள்.

40 The man whose hair falleth off from his head, he is bald and clean:

௪0“ஒருவனுடைய தலைமுடி உதிர்ந்து, அவன் மொட்டையனானாலும், அவன் சுத்தமாக இருக்கிறான்.

41 And if the hair fall from his forehead, he is bald before and clean.

௪௧அவனுடைய முன்னந்தலை முடி உதிர்ந்தால், அவன் அரைமொட்டையன்; அவனும் சுத்தமாக இருக்கிறான்.

42 But if in the bald head or in the bald forehead there be risen a white or reddish colour,

௪௨மொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது அரைமொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது சிவப்புக்கலந்த வெண்மையான படர் உண்டானால், அது அதில் ஏற்படுகிற தொழுநோய்.

43 And the priest perceive this, he shall condemn him undoubtedly of leprosy which is risen in the bald part.

௪௩ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவனுடைய மொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது அரைமொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது, மற்ற அங்கங்களின்மேல் உண்டாகும் குஷ்டத்தைப்போல, சிவப்புக்கலந்த வெண்மையான தடிப்பு இருக்கக்கண்டால்,

44 Now whosoever shall be defiled with the leprosy, and is separated by the judgment of the priest,

௪௪அவன் தொழுநோயாளி, அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்மானிக்கக்கடவன்; அவன் வியாதி அவன் தலையிலே இருக்கிறது.

45 Shall have his clothes hanging loose, his head bare, his mouth covered with a cloth, and he shall cry out that he is defiled and unclean.

௪௫“அந்த வியாதி உண்டாயிருக்கிற தொழுநோயாளி உடை கிழிந்தவனாகவும், தன் தலையை மூடாதவனாகவும் இருந்து, அவன் தன் தாடியை மூடிக்கொண்டு, தீட்டு, தீட்டு என்று சத்தமிடவேண்டும்.

46 All the time that he is a leper and unclean, he shall dwell alone without the camp.

௪௬அந்த வியாதி அவனில் இருக்கும் நாட்கள்வரை தீட்டுள்ளவனாக கருதப்படக்கடவன்; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவனே; ஆகையால், அவன் தனியே குடியிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவனுடைய குடியிருப்பு, முகாமிற்கு வெளியே இருப்பதாக.

47 A woollen or linen garment that shall have the leprosy

௪௭“ஆட்டுரோம உடையிலாவது, பஞ்சுநூல் உடையிலாவது,

48 In the warp, and the woof, or a skin. or whatsoever is made of a skin,

௪௮பஞ்சுநூல் அல்லது ஆட்டுரோமத்தினாலான நெய்யப்பட்ட, பின்னப்பட்ட பொருட்களிலாவது, ஒரு தோலிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்யப்பட்ட எந்தவித பொருளிலாவது பூசணம் தோன்றி,

49 If it be infected with a white or red spot, it shall be accounted the leprosy, and shall be shewn to the priest.

௪௯உடையிலாவது, தோலிலாவது, நெய்யப்பட்ட, பின்னப்பட்ட பொருட்களிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித பொருளிலாவது பூசணம் பச்சையாகவோ சிவப்பாகவோ காணப்பட்டால் அது தொழுநோயாக இருக்கும்; அதை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும்.

50 And he shall look upon it and shall shut it up seven days:

௫0ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

51 And on the seventh day when he looketh on it again, if he find that it if grown, it is a Axed leprosy: he shall judge the garment unclean, and every thing wherein it shall be found:

௫௧ஏழாம் நாளிலே அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; உடையிலாவது, நெய்யப்பட்ட, பின்னப்பட்ட பொருட்களிலாவது, தோலிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்யப்பட்ட எந்தவித பொருளிலாவது அது பரவியிருந்தால், அது அரிக்கிற தொழுநோய்; அது தீட்டாயிருக்கும்.

52 And therefore it shall be burnt with fire.

௫௨அந்த பூசணம் இருக்கிற ஆட்டுரோமத்தினாலும் பஞ்சுநூலினாலும் செய்யப்பட்ட உடையையும், நெய்யப்பட்ட மற்றும் பின்னப்பட்டவைகளையும், தோலினால் செய்யப்பட்ட எந்தவித பொருளையும் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவன்; அது அரிக்கிற தொழுநோய்; ஆகையால் நெருப்பில் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

53 But if he see that it is not grown,

௫௩“உடையின் நெய்யப்பட்ட, பின்னப்பட்ட பொருட்களிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்யப்பட்ட எந்தவித பொருளிலாவது, அந்தப் பூசணம் பரவவில்லை என்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டால்,

54 He shall give orders, and they shall wash that part wherein the leprosy is, and he shall shut it up other seven days.

௫௪அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அதைக் கழுவச்சொல்லி, இரண்டாவதுமுறை ஏழுநாட்கள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

55 And when he shall see that the former colour is not returned, nor yet the leprosy spread, he shall judge it unclean, and shall burn it with fire, for the leprosy has taken hold of the outside of the garment, or through the whole.

௫௫அது கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு, அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தப் பூசணம் பரவாமல் இருந்தாலும், அது நிறம் மாறாததாக இருந்தால் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்; தீயில் அதை எரித்துவிடவேண்டும்; அது அந்த உடையின் உட்புறத்திலும் வெளிப்புறத்திலும் ஆழமாக அரிக்கும்.

56 But if the place of the leprosy be somewhat dark, after the garment is washed, he shall tear it off, and divide it from that which is sound.

௫௬கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு அது குறைந்ததென்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டானேயாகில், அதை உடையிலாவது, தோலிலாவது, நெய்யப்பட்ட மற்றும் பின்னப்பட்டவைகளிலாவது இல்லாதபடி எடுத்துப்போடவேண்டும்.

57 And if after this there appear in those places that before were without spot, a flying and wandering leprosy: it must be burnt with fire.

௫௭அது இன்னும் உடையிலாவது, நெய்யப்பட்ட மற்றும் பின்னப்பட்டவைகளிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித பொருளிலாவது காணப்பட்டால், அது படருகிற பூசணம்; ஆகையினால் அது உள்ளதை தீயில் எரித்துவிடவேண்டும்.

58 If it cease, he shall wash with water the parts that are pure, the second time, and they shall be clean.

௫௮ஆடையின் பாவாவது, ஊடையாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித பொருளாவது கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு, அந்தப் பூசணம் அதை விட்டுப் போயிற்றேயானால், இரண்டாவதுமுறை கழுவப்படவேண்டும்; அப்பொழுது சுத்தமாக இருக்கும்”.

59 This is the law touching the leprosy of any woollen or linen garment, either in the warp or woof, or any thing of skins, how it ought to be cleansed, or pronounced unclean.

௫௯ஆட்டுரோமமாகிலும் பஞ்சுநூலாலாகிலும் நெய்த உடையையாவது, பாவையாவது, ஊடையையாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித பொருளையாவது, சுத்தமென்றாவது தீட்டென்றாவது தீர்மானிக்கிறதற்கு, அதினுடைய தொழுநோய் தோஷத்திற்குரிய விதிமுறைகள் இதுவே என்றார்.
