Joshua 22
1 At the same time Josue called the Rubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses,
Атунч, Иосуа а кемат пе рубениць, пе гадиць ши жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе
2 And said to them: You have done all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you: you have also obeyed me in all things,
ши ле-а зис: „Вой аць пэзит тот че в-а порунчит Мойсе, робул Домнулуй, ши аць аскултат де гласул меу ын тот че в-ам порунчит.
3 Neither have you left your brethren this long time, until this present day, keeping the commandment of the Lord your God.
Н-аць пэрэсит пе фраций воштри де о бунэ букатэ де време пынэ ын зиуа де азь ши аць пэзит рындуелиле ши порунчиле Домнулуй Думнезеулуй востру.
4 Therefore as the Lord your God hath given your brethren rest and peace, as he promised: return, and go to your dwellings, and to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan:
Акум, кынд Домнул Думнезеул востру а дат одихнэ фрацилор воштри, кум ле спусесе, ынтоарчеци-вэ ши дучеци-вэ ла кортуриле воастре, ын цара датэ ын стэпыниря воастрэ, пе каре в-а дат-о Мойсе, робул Домнулуй, динколо де Йордан.
5 Yet so that you observe attentively, and in work fulfill the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you: that you love the Lord your God, and walk in all his ways, and keep all his commandments, and cleave to him, and serve him with all your heart, and with all your soul.
Авець грижэ нумай сэ пэзиць ши сэ ымплиниць порунчиле ши леӂиле пе каре ви ле-а дат Мойсе, робул Домнулуй: сэ юбиць пе Домнул Думнезеул востру, сэ умблаць ын тоате кэиле Луй, сэ цинець порунчиле Луй, сэ вэ алипиць де Ел ши сэ-Й служиць дин тоатэ инима воастрэ ши дин тот суфлетул востру.”
6 And Josue blessed them, and sent them away, and they returned to their dwellings.
Ши Иосуа й-а бинекувынтат ши ле-а дат друмул; ши ей ау плекат ла кортуриле лор.
7 Now to half the tribe of Manasses, Moses had given a possession in Basan: and therefore to the half that remained, Josue gave a lot among the rest of their brethren beyond the Jordan to the west. And when he sent them away to their dwellings and had blessed them,
Мойсе дэдусе уней жумэтэць дин семинция луй Манасе о моштенире ын Басан, ши Иосуа а дат челейлалте жумэтэць о моштенире лынгэ фраций лор, динкоаче де Йордан, ла апус.
8 He said to them: With much substance and riches, you return to your settlements, with silver and gold, brass and iron, and variety of raiment: divide the prey of your enemies with your brethren.
Кынд й-а тримис Иосуа ла кортуриле лор, й-а бинекувынтат ши ле-а зис: „Вой вэ ынтоарчець ла кортуриле воастре ку марь богэций, ку фоарте мулте турме ши ку о маре мулциме де арӂинт, де аур, де арамэ, де фер ши де ымбрэкэминте. Ымпэрциць ку фраций воштри прада луатэ де ла врэжмаший воштри.”
9 So the children of Ruben, and the children of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses returned, and parted from the children of Israel in Silo, which is in Chanaan, to go into Galaad the land of their possession, which they had obtained according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
Фиий луй Рубен, фиий луй Гад ши жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе с-ау ынторс акасэ, лэсынд пе копиий луй Исраел ла Сило, ын цара Канаанулуй, ка сэ се дукэ ын цара Галаадулуй, каре ера мошия лор ши унде се ашезасерэ, кум порунчисе луй Мойсе Домнул.
10 And when they were come to the banks of the Jordan, in the land of Chanaan, they built an altar immensely great near the Jordan.
Кынд ау ажунс пе малуриле Йорданулуй, каре фак парте дин цара Канаанулуй, фиий луй Рубен, фиий луй Гад ши жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе ау зидит аколо ун алтар лынгэ Йордан, ун алтар а кэруй мэриме избя привириле.
11 And when the children of Israel had heard of it, and certain messengers had brought them an account that the children of Ruben, and of Cad, and the half tribe of Manasses had built an altar in the land of Chanaan, upon the banks of the Jordan, over against the children of Israel:
Копиий луй Исраел ау аузит зикынду-се: „Ятэ кэ фиий луй Рубен, фиий луй Гад ши жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе ау зидит ун алтар ын фаца цэрий Канаанулуй, пе малуриле Йорданулуй, ын пэрциле копиилор луй Исраел.”
12 They all assembled in Silo, to go up and fight against them.
Кынд ау аузит копиий луй Исраел лукрул ачеста, тоатэ адунаря копиилор луй Исраел с-а стрынс ла Сило, ка сэ се суе ымпотрива лор ши сэ се батэ ку ей.
13 And in the mean time they sent to them into the land of Galaad, Phinees the son of Eleazar the priest,
Копиий луй Исраел ау тримис ла фиий луй Рубен, ла фиий луй Гад ши ла жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе, ын цара Галаадулуй, пе Финеас, фиул преотулуй Елеазар,
14 And ten princes with him, one of every tribe.
ши зече кэпетений ку ел, кыте о кэпетение де фиекаре касэ пэринтяскэ пентру фиекаре дин семинцииле луй Исраел; тоць ерау кэпетений де касэ пэринтяскэ ынтре мииле луй Исраел.
15 Who came to the children of Ruben, and of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses, into the land of Galaad, and said to them:
Ей ау венит ла фиий луй Рубен, ла фиий луй Гад ши ла жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе, ын цара Галаадулуй, ши ле-ау ворбит астфел:
16 Thus saith all the people of the Lord: What meaneth this transgression? Why have you forsaken the Lord the God of Israel, building a sacrilegious altar, and revolting from the worship of him?
„Аша ворбеште тоатэ адунаря Домнулуй: ‘Че ынсямнэ пэкатул ачеста пе каре л-аць сэвыршит фацэ де Думнезеул луй Исраел ши пентру че вэ абатець акум де ла Домнул, зидинду-вэ ун алтар, ка сэ вэ рэзврэтиць азь ымпотрива Домнулуй?
17 Is it a small thing to you that you sinned with Beelphegor, and the stain of that crime remaineth in us to this day? and many of the people perished.
Привим оаре ка о нимика нелеӂюиря луй Пеор, а кэруй патэ н-ам ридикат-о пынэ акум де песте ной, ку тоатэ урӂия пе каре а адус-о еа асупра адунэрий Домнулуй?
18 And you have forsaken the Lord today, and tomorrow his wrath will rage against all Israel.
Ши вой вэ абатець астэзь де ла Домнул! Дакэ вэ рэзврэтиць азь ымпотрива Домнулуй, мыне Ел Се ва мыния ымпотрива ынтреӂий адунэрь а луй Исраел.
19 But if you think the land of your possession to be unclean, pass over to the land wherein is the tabernacle of the Lord, and dwell among us: only depart not from the Lord, and from our society, by building an altar beside the altar of the Lord our God.
Дакэ привиць ка некуратэ цара каре есте мошия воастрэ, тречець ын цара каре есте мошия Домнулуй, унде есте ашезатэ локуинца Домнулуй, ши ашезаци-вэ ын мижлокул ностру, дар ну вэ рэзврэтиць ымпотрива Домнулуй ши ну вэ деспэрциць де ной, зидинду-вэ ун алтар, афарэ де алтарул Домнулуй Думнезеулуй ностру!
20 Did not Achan the son of Zare transgress the commandment of the Lord, and his wrath lay upon all the people of Israel? And he was but one man, and would to God he alone had perished in his wickedness.
Акан, фиул луй Зерах, н-а сэвыршит оаре ун пэкат ку привире ла лукруриле дате спре нимичире ши ну С-а апринс де мыние Домнул ымпотрива ынтреӂий адунэрь а луй Исраел? Ши ел н-а фост сингурул каре а перит дин причина нелеӂюирий луй.’”
21 And the children of Ruben, and of Gad, and of the half tribe of Manasses answered the princes of the embassage of Israel:
Фиий луй Рубен, фиий луй Гад ши жумэтате дин семинция луй Манасе ау рэспунс астфел кэпетениилор песте мииле луй Исраел:
22 The Lord the most mighty God, the Lord the most mighty God, he knoweth, and Israel also shall understand: If with the design of transgression we have set up this altar, let him not save us, but punish us immediately:
„Домнул Думнезеу, Чел Атотпутерник, Домнул Думнезеу, Чел Атотпутерник, штие ши Исраел ынсушь сэ штие лукрул ачеста! Дакэ дин рэзврэтире ши пэкэтуире ымпотрива Домнулуй ам фэкут лукрул ачеста, сэ ну не винэ ын ажутор Домнул ын зиуа ачаста!
23 And if we did it with that mind, that we might lay upon it holocausts, and sacrifice, and victims of peace offerings, let him require and judge:
Дакэ не-ам зидит ун алтар ка сэ не абатем де ла Домнул, ка сэ адучем пе ел ардерь-де-тот ши дарурь де мынкаре ши ка сэ адучем пе ел жертфе де мулцумире, Домнул сэ не чарэ сокотялэ де ачаста!
24 And not rather with this thought and design, that we should say: Tomorrow your children will say to our children: What have you to do with the Lord the God of Israel?
Ам фэкут лукрул ачеста май деграбэ де фрикэ, гындинду-не кэ ынтр-о зи с-ар путя ка фиий воштри сэ зикэ фиилор ноштри: ‘Че легэтурэ есте ынтре вой ши Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел?
25 The Lord hath put the river Jordan for a border between us and you, O ye children of Ruben, and ye children of Gad: and therefore you have no part in the Lord. And by this occasion you children shall turn away our children from the fear of the Lord. We therefore thought, it best,
Домнул а пус Йорданул хотар ынтре ной ши вой, фий ай луй Рубен ши фий ай луй Гад: вой н-авець парте де Домнул!’ Ши фиий воштри ар фаче астфел ка фиий ноштри сэ ну се май тямэ де Домнул.
26 And said: Let us build us an altar, not for holocausts, nor to offer victims,
Де ачея ам зис: Сэ не зидим деч ун алтар, ну пентру ардерь-де-тот ши пентру жертфе,
27 But for a testimony between us and you, and our posterity and yours, that we may serve the Lord, and that we may have a right to offer both holocausts, and victims and sacrifices of peace offerings: and that your children tomorrow may not say to our children: You have no part in the Lord.
чи ка о мэртурие ынтре ной ши вой, ынтре урмаший ноштри ши ай воштри, кэ воим сэ служим Домнулуй, ынаинтя Фецей Луй, прин ардериле-де-тот ши прин жертфеле ноастре де испэшире ши де мулцумире, ка сэ ну зикэ фиий воштри ынтр-о зи фиилор ноштри: ‘Вой н-авець парте де Домнул!’
28 And if they will say so, they shall answer them: Behold the altar of the Lord, which our fathers made, not for holocausts, nor for sacrifice, but for a testimony between us and you.
Ной ам зис: ‘Дакэ май тырзиу не вор ворби астфел ноуэ сау урмашилор ноштри, вом рэспунде: «Привиць кипул алтарулуй Домнулуй пе каре л-ау фэкут пэринций ноштри ну пентру ардерь-де-тот ши пентру жертфе, чи ка мэртурие ынтре ной ши вой.»
29 God keep us from any such wickedness that we should revolt from the Lord, and leave off following his steps, by building an altar to offer holocausts, and sacrifices, and victims, beside the altar of the Lord our God, which is erected before his tabernacle.
Департе де ной гындул сэ не рэзврэтим ымпотрива Домнулуй ши сэ не абатем астэзь де ла Домнул, зидинд ун алтар пентру ардерь-де-тот, пентру дарурь де мынкаре ши пентру жертфе, афарэ де алтарул Домнулуй Думнезеулуй ностру, каре есте ынаинтя локашулуй Луй!’”
30 And when Phinees the priest, and the princes of the embassage, who were with him, had heard this, they were satisfied: and they admitted most willingly the words of the children of Ruben, and Gad, and of the half tribe of Manasses.
Кынд ау аузит преотул Финеас ши кэпетенииле адунэрий, кэпетенииле песте мииле луй Исраел, каре ерау ку ел, кувинтеле пе каре ле-ау ростит фиий луй Рубен, фиий луй Гад ши фиий луй Манасе ау рэмас мулцумиць.
31 And Phinees the priest the son of Eleazar said to them: Now we know that the Lord is with us, because you are not guilty of this revolt, and you have delivered the children of Israel from the hand of the Lord.
Ши Финеас, фиул преотулуй Елеазар, а зис фиилор луй Рубен, фиилор луй Гад ши фиилор луй Манасе: „Куноаштем акум кэ Домнул есте ын мижлокул ностру, фииндкэ н-аць сэвыршит пэкатул ачеста ымпотрива Домнулуй ши аць избэвит астфел пе копиий луй Исраел дин мына Домнулуй.”
32 And he returned with the princes from the children of Ruben and Gad, out of the land of Galaad, into the land of Chanaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.
Финеас, фиул преотулуй Елеазар, ши кэпетенииле ау пэрэсит пе фиий луй Рубен ши пе фиий луй Гад ши с-ау ынторс дин цара Галаадулуй ын цара Канаанулуй, ла копиий луй Исраел, кэрора ле-ау фэкут о даре де сямэ.
33 And the saying pleased all that heard it. And the children of Israel praised God, and they no longer said that they would go up against them, and fight, and destroy the land of their possession.
Копиий луй Исраел ау рэмас мулцумиць; ау бинекувынтат пе Думнезеу ши н-ау май ворбит сэ се суе ынармаць ка сэ пустияскэ цара пе каре о локуяу фиий луй Рубен ши фиий луй Гад.
34 And the children of Ruben, and the children of Cad called the altar which they had built, Our testimony, that the Lord is God.
Фиий луй Рубен ши фиий луй Гад ау нумит алтарул ачела Ед, „кэч”, ау зис ей, „ел есте мартор ынтре ной кэ Домнул есте Думнезеу”.
