1 Then the princes of the families of Levi came to Eleazar the priest, and to Josue the son of Nun, and to the princes of the kindreds of all the tribes of the children of Israel:

2 And they spoke to them in Silo in the land of Chanaan, and said: The Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, that cities should be given us to dwell in, and their suburbs to feed our cattle.

3 And the children of Israel gave out of their possessions according to the commandment of the Lord, cities and their suburbs.
Pea naʻe foaki ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ki he kau Livai mei honau tofiʻa, ʻi he fekau ʻa Sihova, ʻae ngaahi kolo ni mo honau ngaahi potu takatakai.
4 And the lot came out for the family of Caath of the children of Aaron the priest out of the tribes of Juda, and of Simeon, and of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

5 And to the rest of the children of Caath, that is, to the Levites, who remained, out of the tribes of Ephraim, and of Dan, and the half tribe of Manasses, ten cities.

6 And the lot came out to the children of Gerson, that they should take of the tribes of Issachar and of Aser and of Nephtali, and of the half tribe of Manasses in Basan, thirteen cities.
Pea ko e fānau ʻa Kesoni naʻa nau maʻu ʻi he talotalo ʻae tofiʻa mei he ngaahi fale ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsaka, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo ʻAseli, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Nafitali, pea mei hono vaeuaʻanga ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase ʻi Pesani, ʻae kolo ʻe hongofulu ma tolu.
7 And to the sons of Merari by their kindreds, of the tribes of Ruben and or Cad and of Zabulon, twelve cities.
Ko e fānau ʻa Melali ʻi honau ngaahi faʻahinga naʻa nau maʻu mei he faʻahinga ʻo Lupeni, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Kata, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Sepuloni, ʻae kolo ʻe hongofulu ma ua.
8 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, giving to every one by lot.
Pea naʻe foaki ʻi he talotalo ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ʻae ngaahi kolo ni mo honau ngaahi potu takatakai ki he kau Livai, ʻo hangē ko e fekau ʻa Sihova ʻi he nima ʻo Mōsese.
9 Of the tribes of the children of Juda and of Simeon Josue gave cities: whose names are these,
Pea naʻa nau foaki mei he faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Siuta, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Simione, ʻae ngaahi kolo ni ʻaia ʻoku lau honau hingoa,
10 To the sons of Aaron, of the families of Caath of the race of Levi (for the first lot came out for them)

11 The city of Arbe the father of Enac, which is called Hebron, in the mountain of Juda, and the suburbs thereof round about.

12 But the fields and the villages thereof he had given to Caleb the son of Jephone for his possession.

13 He gave therefore to the children of Aaron the priest, Hebron a city of refuge, and the suburbs thereof: and Lobna with the suburbs thereof,

14 And Jether and Estemo,

16 And Ain, and Jeta, and Bethsames, with their suburbs: nine cities out of the two tribes, as hath been said.

17 And out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, Gabaon, and Gabae,
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Penisimani, ko Kipione mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Kepa mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
18 And Anathoth and Almon, with their suburbs: four cities.
Ko ʻAnatoti mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo ʻAlimoni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe fā.
19 All the cities together of the children of Aaron the priest, were thirteen, with their suburbs.
Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻae fānau ʻa ʻElone, ko e kau taulaʻeiki, ko e kolo ʻe hongofulu ma tolu mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo.
20 And to the rest of the families of the children of Caath of the race of Levi was given this possession.
Pea ko e ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Kohate, ko e kau Livai naʻe toe ʻi he fānau ʻa Kohate, naʻe maʻu ʻekinautolu ʻae ngaahi kolo ko honau tofiʻa mei he faʻahinga ʻo ʻIfalemi.
21 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Sichem one of the cities of refuge, with the suburbs thereof in mount Ephraim, and Cater,
He naʻa nau foaki kiate kinautolu ʻa Sikemi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻi he moʻunga ko ʻIfalemi, ko e kolo hūfanga ki he tāmate faainoa; mo Kesa mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
22 And Cibsaim, and Beth-horon, with their suburbs, four cities.
Mo Kipisemi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Pete-holoni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe fā.
23 And of the tribe of Dan, Eltheco and Gabathon,
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Tani, ko Eliteke mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko Kipitoni mo hono ngaahi tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
24 And Aialon and Gethremmon, with their suburbs, four cities.
Ko ʻAsaloni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko Kata-Limoni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe fā.
25 And of the half tribe of Manasses, Thanac and Gethremmon, with their suburbs, two cities.
Pea mei hono vaeuaʻanga ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase, ko Tenaki mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Kata Limoni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe ua.
26 All the cities were ten, with their suburbs, which were given to the children of Caath, of the inferior degree.
Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo ki he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Kohate naʻe toe, naʻe hongofulu.
27 To the children of Gerson also of the race of Levi out of the half tribe of Manasses, Gaulon in Basan, one of the cities of refuge, and Bosra, with their suburbs, two cities.
Pea naʻa nau foaki ki he fānau ʻa Kesoni, ʻi he faʻahinga ʻoe kau Livai, mei hono potu ʻe taha ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase, ʻa Kolani ʻi Pesani mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko e kolo hūfanga ki he tāmate faainoa mo Pesitila mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia ko e kolo ʻe ua.
28 And of the tribe of Issachar, Cesion, and Dabereth,
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsaka, ʻa Kisoni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Tapilati, mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
29 And Jaramoth, and Engannim, with their suburbs, four cities.
Ko Samuti mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Enikanimi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe fā.
30 And of the tribe of Aser, Masal and Abdon,
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo ʻAseli, ko Misali mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo ʻApitoni mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
31 And Helcath, and Rohob, with their suburbs, four cities.
Ko Elitaki mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Lehopi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia ko e kolo ʻe fā.
32 Of the tribe also of Nephtali, Cedes in Galilee, one of the cities of refuge: and Hammoth Dor, and Carthan, with their suburbs, three cities.
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Nafitali, ko Ketesi ʻi Kāleli, mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko e kolo hūfanga ki he tāmate faainoa; mo Hemoti-Toa mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Matani mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe tolu.
33 All the cities of the families of Gerson, were thirteen, with their suburbs.
Ko e ngaahi kolo ʻoe kau Kesoni ʻo fakatatau ki honau ngaahi faʻahinga, ko e kolo ʻe hongofulu ma tolu mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo.
34 And to the children of Merari, Levites of the inferior degree, by their families were given of the tribe of Zabulon, Jecnam and Cartha,
Pea ki he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Melali, ko hono toe ʻoe kau Livai, naʻe ʻatu mei he faʻahinga ʻo Sepuloni, ʻa Sokiniami mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Kaata mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
35 And Damna and Naalol, four cities with their suburbs;
Ko Temina mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Nehala mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe fā.
36 Of the tribe of Ruben beyond the Jordan over against Jericho, Bosor in the wilderness, one of the cities of refuge, Miser and Jaser and Jethson and Mephaath, four cities with their suburbs.
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Lupeni, ko Peseli mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Sehasi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
37 Of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Galaad, one of the cities of refuge, and Manaim and Hesebon and Jaser, four cities with their suburbs.
Ko Ketimote mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Mefati mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe fā.
Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Kata, ko Lemoti ʻi Kiliati mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko e kolo hūfanga ki he tāmate fai noa; mo Mehanemi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia,
Ko Hesiponi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Sesa mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo kotoa pē ʻe fā.
40 All the cities of the children of Merari by their families and kindreds, were twelve.
Ko ia ko e ngaahi kolo naʻe tō ʻi he talotalo ki he fānau ʻa Melali ʻi honau ngaahi faʻahinga, ʻaia naʻe toe ʻi he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe kau Livai, ko e kolo ʻe hongofulu ma ua.
41 So all the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight,
Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻoe kau Livai ʻi he tofiʻa ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻIsileli naʻe fāngofulu ma valu mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo.
42 With their suburbs, each distributed by the families.
Naʻe tuʻu ʻae ngaahi kolo ni taki taha mo honau tuaʻā kolo naʻe takatakai: naʻe pehē pe ʻae ngaahi kolo ni kotoa pē.
43 And the Lord God gave to Israel all the land that he had sworn to give to their fathers: and they possessed it and dwelt in it.
Pea naʻe foaki ʻe Sihova ki ʻIsileli ʻae fonua kotoa pē naʻa ne fuakava ke foaki ki heʻenau ngaahi tamai: pea naʻa nau maʻu ia, ʻo nofo ai.
44 And he gave them peace from all nations round about: and none of their enemies durst stand against them, but were brought under their dominion.
Pea naʻe foaki ʻe Sihova kiate kinautolu ʻae mālōlō ʻi he potu kotoa pē, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene fuakava ki heʻenau ngaahi tamai: pea naʻe ʻikai ha tangata ʻi honau ngaahi fili kotoa pē naʻe faʻa tuʻu ʻi honau ʻao: naʻe tukuange ʻe Sihova honau ngaahi fili kotoa pē ki honau nima.
45 Not so much as one word, which he had promised to perform unto them, was made void, but all came to pass.
Naʻe ʻikai liʻaki ha meʻa ʻe taha ʻi he meʻa lelei kotoa pē naʻe folofola ki ai ʻa Sihova ki he fale ʻo ʻIsileli; naʻe hoko kotoa pē.
