Jonah 2
1 And Jonas prayed to the Lord his God out of the belly of the fish.
Кала Иона сля ды пэр мачестэ, вов помангляпэ РАЕСТИ, пэхкирэ Дэвлэсти.
2 And he said: I cried out of my affliction to the Lord, and he heard me: I cried out of the belly of hell, and thou hast heard my voice. (Sheol h7585)
Вов пхэнда: — Ды бида мэ типисилём РАЕСТИ, и Вов задэдуманя мандэ. Мэ затиписилём кола люмлятар мулэндар — тай Ту ушундан муро гласо. (Sheol h7585)
3 And thou hast cast me forth into the deep in the heart of the sea, and a flood hath compassed me: all thy billows, and thy waves have passed over me.
Ту обмуклян ман фартэ тэлэ ды пане, вой тирёлас тай подлэласпэ понад муро шэро.
4 And I said: I am cast away out of the sight of thy eyes: but yet I shall see thy holy temple again.
Мэ пхэндом: «Отчюто мэ Тирэ якхэндар, нэ всаекх мэ джянав, со мэ удыкхава свэнто Тиро цэр».
5 The waters compassed me about even to the soul: the deep hath closed me round about, the sea hath covered my head.
Пани ушаравда ман, чяря панестар обкхувдэ муро шэро.
6 I went down to the lowest parts of the mountains: the bars of the earth have shut me up for ever: and thou wilt bring up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.
Мэ тэлэ пхув сджилём, тев барён плая, тай удара затердэпэ пала ман, соб тэ на вымукэ ман вако. Нэ Ту, РАЙ, муро Дэвэл, вылилян ман хывьятар джюдэґа.
7 When my soul was in distress within me, I remembered the Lord: that my prayer may come to thee, unto thy holy temple.
Кала джювимо муро мурдёлас, тай ачилёмпэ мэ би зорако, мэ РАЕ срапирдом, тай муро мангимо доджиля Тутэ, ды свэнто Тиро цэр.
8 They that are vain observe vanities, forsake their own mercy.
Кола, ко тэлёл хохавнэ, шушэ дэвлэнди, прыдыне Тут.
9 But I with the voice of praise will sacrifice to thee: I will pay whatsoever I have vowed for my salvation to the Lord.
А мэ ашаримахкирэ гласоґа анава Тути жэртва, со пхэндом англа Тут, стирава! Фирисаримо РАЕСТАР!
10 And the Lord spoke to the fish: and it vomited out Jonas upon the dry land.
РАЙ пхэнда мачести, тай вов вычюта Иона мостар пы пхув.
