< John 7 >

1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.
Sima na yango, Yesu atambolaki na mokili ya Galile, aboyaki kovanda na Yuda, pamba te Bayuda bazalaki koluka koboma Ye.
2 Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.
Nzokande, feti ya Bandako ya kapo, feti ya Bayuda, ekomaki pene.
3 And his brethren said to him: Pass from hence, and go into Judea; that thy disciples also may see thy works which thou dost.
Bandeko ya Yesu balobaki na Ye: — Longwa awa na Galile mpe kende na Yuda, mpo ete bayekoli na Yo bamona kuna bikamwa oyo ozali kosala.
4 For there is no man that doth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, manifest thyself to the world.
Moto moko te asalaka na nkuku soki alingi koyebana. Lokola ozali kosala makambo minene koleka, sala ete moto nyonso kati na mokili ayeba soki ozali nani.
5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Pamba te, ezala bandeko ya Yesu, bango mpe bazalaki kondima Ye te.
6 Then Jesus said to them: My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready.
Yesu azongiselaki bango: — Tango na Ngai ekoki nanu te; kasi mpo na bino, tango nyonso ezali malamu.
7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth: because I give testimony of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Mokili ekoki koyina bino te; kasi Ngai, ezali koyina Ngai mpo ete natatolaka ete misala na yango ezali mabe.
8 Go you up to this festival day, but I go not up to this festival day: because my time is not accomplished.
Bino, bokende na feti wana; kasi Ngai, nakokende te, pamba te tango na Ngai ekoki nanu te.
9 When he had said these things, he himself stayed in Galilee.
Sima na Ye koloba na bango bongo, atikalaki na Galile.
10 But after his brethren were gone up, then he also went up to the feast, not openly, but, as it were, in secret.
Nzokande, tango bandeko na Ye bakendeki na feti, Ye mpe akendeki kuna, na komilakisa te, kasi na nkuku.
11 The Jews therefore sought him on the festival day, and said: Where is he?
Wana bazalaki kati na feti, Bayuda bazalaki koluka Ye mpe bazalaki kotuna-tuna: « Azali wapi? »
12 And there was much murmuring among the multitude concerning him. For some said: He is a good man. And others said: No, but he seduceth the people.
Kati na bato, tembe ekomaki makasi na tina na Ye. Bamoko bazalaki koloba: Azali moto malamu; bamosusu: « Te, azali kokosa bato nyonso. »
13 Yet no man spoke openly of him, for fear of the Jews.
Kasi, lokola bango nyonso bazalaki kobanga Bayuda, moto ata moko te akokaki koloba na bonsomi nyonso na tina na Yesu.
14 Now about the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
Tango mikolo ya feti ekomaki na kati-kati, Yesu akendeki na Tempelo mpe akomaki koteya.
15 And the Jews wondered, saying: How doth this man know letters, having never learned?
Bayuda bakamwaki mpe bazalaki kotunana: — Ndenge nini moto oyo ayekola te akoki koyeba Makomi boye?
16 Jesus answered them, and said: My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
Yesu azongiselaki bango: — Makambo oyo nazali koteya ewuti epai na Ngai te, kasi ewuti epai na Ye oyo atindi Ngai.
17 If any man do the will of him; he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Moto nyonso oyo azwi mokano ya kosala makambo oyo Nzambe alingaka, akososola soki mateya na Ngai ewuti na Nzambe to nazali koloba na ndenge na Ngai moko.
18 He that speaketh of himself, seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, he is true, and there is no injustice in him.
Moto oyo alobaka na kombo na ye moko alukaka lokumu na ye moko; kaka oyo azali koluka lokumu ya Nzambe oyo atindaki Ye nde azali koloba solo, mpe mabe ezali te kati na Ye.
19 Did Moses not give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law?
Boni, Moyize apesaki bino mibeko te? Nzokande moko te kati na bino atosaka yango! Bongo mpo na nini bozali koluka koboma Ngai?
20 Why seek you to kill me? The multitude answered, and said: Thou hast a devil; who seeketh to kill thee?
Bato kati na ngulupa bazongiselaki Yesu: — Ozali na molimo mabe. Nani azali koluka koboma yo?
21 Jesus answered, and said to them: One work I have done; and you all wonder:
Yesu alobaki na bango: — Mpo na likamwisi moko oyo nasalaki, yango wana bino nyonso bokamwe!
22 Therefore, Moses gave you circumcision (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers; ) and on the sabbath day you circumcise a man.
Bokanisa nanu: Moyize apesaki bino mitindo ya kokatisa ngenga, —mobeko yango ewutaki kutu na Moyize te, kasi na bakoko— mpe botosaka mitindo yango ata na mokolo ya Saba.
23 If a man receive circumcision on the sabbath day, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are you angry at me because I have healed the whole man on the sabbath day?
Bongo soki bokataka bato ngenga na mokolo ya Saba, mpe yango ebukaka mobeko ya Moyize te, mpo na nini bozali kosilikela Ngai mpo ete nabikisi moto na mokolo ya Saba?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge just judgment.
Bosambisaka lisusu te kolanda oyo miso na bino ezali komona, kasi bokataka makambo na bosembo.
25 Some therefore of Jerusalem said: Is not this he whom they seek to kill?
Na bongo, ndambo ya bavandi ya Yelusalemi bakomaki komituna: « Azali te moto oyo bazali koluka koboma?
26 And behold, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing to him. Have the rulers known for a truth, that this is the Christ?
Tala, azali koloba na bonsomi nyonso, mpe bazali koloba na ye eloko moko te mpo na kotelemela ye! Boni, bokanisi ete bakonzi na biso bayebi ete azali penza Klisto?
27 But we know this man, whence he is: but when the Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.
Kasi biso, toyebi epai moto oyo awuti; nzokande tango Klisto akoya, moto moko te akoyeba soki azali moto ya engumba nini! »
28 Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching, and saying: You both know me, and you know whence I am: and I am not come of myself; but he that sent me, is true, whom you know not.
Kaka na tango yango, wana Yesu azalaki koteya kati na Tempelo, alobaki na mongongo makasi: — Solo, boyebi Ngai mpe boyebi epai nawuti! Nzokande, nayei na ndenge na Ngai moko te; ezali Ye oyo azali penza ya solo nde atindi Ngai, mpe bino, boyebi Ye te.
29 I know him, because I am from him, and he hath sent me.
Ngai, nayebi Ye, pamba te nawuti epai na Ye, mpe ezali Ye nde atindi Ngai.
30 They sought therefore to apprehend him: and no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
Na bongo, balukaki kokanga Yesu, kasi moto ata moko te alongaki; pamba te tango na Ye ekokaki nanu te.
31 But of the people many believed in him, and said: When the Christ cometh, shall he do more miracles, than these which this man doth?
Boye kati na bato, mingi bandimaki Ye; bazalaki koloba: — Boni, tango Klisto akoya, akosala bikamwa mingi koleka oyo moto oyo ozali kosala?
32 The Pharisees heard the people murmuring these things concerning him: and the rulers and Pharisees sent ministers to apprehend him.
Bafarizeo bayokaki makambo oyo bato bazalaki koloba na se se na tina na Yesu. Bongo bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe mpe Bafarizeo batindaki bakengeli ya Tempelo mpo na kokanga Yesu.
33 Jesus therefore said to them: Yet a little while I am with you: and then I go to him that sent me.
Yesu alobaki: — Nazali nanu elongo na bino mpo na mwa tango moke, bongo nakozonga epai ya Ye oyo atindaki Ngai.
34 You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither you cannot come.
Bokoluka Ngai, kasi bokomona Ngai te; mpe epai Ngai nakozala, bino, bokoki te koya kuna.
35 The Jews therefore said among themselves: Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
Bayuda balobanaki bango na bango: — Asengeli kokende wapi mpo ete tomona ye lisusu te? Akokende epai ya Bayuda oyo bapalangana kati na Bagreki mpe koteya Bagreki?
36 What is this saying that he hath said: You shall seek me, and shall not find me; and where I am, you cannot come?
Alingi penza koloba nini tango azali koloba: « Bokoluka Ngai, kasi bokomona Ngai te; mpe epai Ngai nakozala, bino, bokoki te koya kuna? »
37 And on the last, and great day of the festivity, Jesus stood and cried, saying: If any man thirst, let him come to me, and drink.
Na mokolo ya suka ya feti, mokolo oyo eleki monene, Yesu atelemaki mpe alobaki na mongongo makasi: — Tika ete moto nyonso oyo azali na posa ya mayi aya epai na Ngai mpe amela.
38 He that believeth in me, as the scripture saith, Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Moto oyo akondima Ngai, kolanda ndenge Makomi elobi, bibale ya mayi ya bomoi ekotiola wuta kati na ye.
39 Now this he said of the Spirit which they should receive, who believed in him: for as yet the Spirit was not given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Yesu alobaki bongo na tina na Molimo oyo bato oyo bakotia kondima na bango kati na Ye bakozwa; mpo ete na tango wana, Molimo apesamaki nanu te, pamba te Yesu akotaki nanu te kati na nkembo na Ye.
40 Of that multitude therefore, when they had heard these words of his, some said: This is the prophet indeed.
Kati na bato oyo bayokaki maloba na Ye, bamoko bazalaki koloba: « Moto oyo azali penza Mosakoli, »
41 Others said: This is the Christ. But some said: Doth the Christ come out of Galilee?
bamosusu: « Azali Klisto, » kasi bamosusu lisusu: « Boni, Klisto akoki kobimela na Galile?
42 Doth not the scripture say: That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem the town where David was?
Boni, Makomi ezali koloba te ete Klisto akobimela na libota ya Davidi mpe akobotama na Beteleemi, mboka ya Davidi? »
43 So there arose a dissension among the people because of him.
Ezali bongo nde bato bakabwanaki na tina na Yesu.
44 And some of them would have apprehended him: but no man laid hands on him.
Bamosusu kati na bango balukaki kokanga Ye, kasi moto ata moko te alongaki.
45 The ministers therefore came to the chief priests and the Pharisees. And they said to them: Why have you not brought him?
Bakengeli ya Tempelo bazongaki epai ya bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe mpe Bafarizeo. Bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe mpe Bafarizeo batunaki bakengeli: — Mpo na nini bomemi Yesu awa te?
46 The ministers answered: Never did man speak like this man.
Bakengeli bazongisaki: — Ezali na moto ata moko te oyo asila koloba makambo oyo moto wana azali koloba.
47 The Pharisees therefore answered them: Are you also seduced?
Bafarizeo batunaki lisusu: — Bino mpe bomitiki penza mpo ete akosa bino?
48 Hath any one of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees?
Boni, kati na bakonzi to kati na Bafarizeo, ezali ata na moko oyo andimi ye?
49 But this multitude, that knoweth not the law, are accursed.
Ezali kaka bato oyo bayebi mibeko ya Moyize te, bazali penza bato balakelama mabe!
50 Nicodemus said to them, (he that came to him by night, who was one of them: )
Kasi moko kati na bango, Nikodemi, oyo, mokolo moko, akendeki epai ya Yesu, alobaki:
51 Doth our law judge any man, unless it first hear him, and know what he doth?
— Boni, mibeko na biso ekoki kokatela moto etumbu na kozanga koyoka ye liboso, mpe na kozanga koyeba mabe oyo asili kosala?
52 They answered, and said to him: Art thou also a Galilean? Search the scriptures, and see, that out of Galilee a prophet riseth not.
Bazongiselaki ye: — Boni, yo mpe ozali moto ya Galile? Kundola malamu Makomi, mpe okomona penza ete mosakoli moko te abimela na Galile. [
53 And every man returned to his own house.
Na bongo, moko na moko azongaki na ndako na ye.
