< Joel 1 >
1 The word of the Lord that came to Joel the son of Phatuel.
Maganar Ubangiji wadda ta zo wurin Yowel ɗan Fetuwel.
2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land: did this ever happen in your days, or in the days of your fathers?
Ku ji wannan, ku dattawa, ku kasa kunne, dukan waɗanda suke zaune a ƙasar. Ko wani abu makamancin haka ya taɓa faruwa a kwanakinku ko a kwanakin kakanninku?
3 Tell ye of this to your children, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation.
Ku faɗa wa’ya’yanku, bari kuma’ya’yanku su faɗa wa’ya’yansu,’ya’yansu kuma su faɗa wa tsara ta gaba.
4 That which the palmerworm hath left, the locust hath eaten: and that which the locust hath left, the bruchus hath eaten: and that which the bruchus hath left, the mildew hath destroyed.
Abin da ɗango ya bari fāri masu girma sun cinye; abin da fāri masu girma suka bari, burduduwa ta cinye; abin da burduduwa ta bari sauran kwari sun cinye.
5 Awake, ye that are drunk, and weep, and mourn all ye that take delight in drinking sweet wine: for it is cut off from your mouth.
Ku farka, ku bugaggu, ku yi kuka! Ku yi kuka da ƙarfi, ku dukan mashayan ruwan inabi; ku yi kuka mai ƙarfi saboda sabon ruwan inabi, gama an riga an ƙwace ta daga leɓunanku.
6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong and without number: his teeth are like the teeth of a lion: and his cheek teeth as of a lion’s whelp.
Wata al’umma ta mamaye ƙasata, tana da ƙarfi ba ta kuma ƙidayuwa; tana da haƙoran zaki, da zagar zakanya.
7 He hath laid my vineyard waste, and hath pilled off the bark of my fig tree: he hath stripped it bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
Ta mayar da kuringar inabina kango ta kuma lalatar da itatuwan ɓaurena. Ta ɓamɓare bayansu duka ta kuma jefar da su ta bar rassansu fari fat.
8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
Ku yi makoki kamar budurwa a cikin tsummoki tana baƙin ciki domin mijinta na ƙuruciyarta.
9 Sacrifice and libation is cut off from the house of the Lord: the priests, the Lord’s ministers, have mourned:
Hadayun hatsi da hadayun sha an yanke su daga gidan Ubangiji. Firistoci suna makoki, su waɗanda suke yi wa Ubangiji hidima.
10 The country is destroyed, the ground hath mourned: for the corn is wasted, the wine is confounded, the oil hath languished.
Filaye sun zama marasa amfani, ƙasa ta bushe; an lalatar da hatsi, sabon ruwan inabin ya bushe, mai kuma ba amfani.
11 The husbandmen are ashamed, the vinedressers have howled for the wheat, and for the barley, because the harvest of the field is perished.
Ku fid da zuciya, ku manoma, ku yi ihu, ku masu noma inabi; ku yi baƙin ciki saboda alkama da sha’ir, saboda an lalata girbin filaye.
12 The vineyard is confounded, and the fig tree hath languished: the pomegranate tree, and the palm tree, and the apple tree, and all the trees of the field are withered: because joy is withdrawn from the children of men.
Kuringar inabin ta bushe itacen ɓaure kuma ya yi yaushi,’ya’yan rumman, itacen dabino da itacen gawasa, dukan itatuwan filaye, sun bushe. Tabbatacce farin cikin’yan adam ya bushe.
13 Gird yourselves, and lament, O ye priests, howl, ye ministers of the altars: go in, lie in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: because sacrifice and libation is cut off from the house of your God.
Ku sa tsummoki, ya firistoci, ku yi makoki; ku yi ihu, ku da kuke yin hidima a gaban bagade. Zo, ku kwana saye da tsummoki, ku waɗanda kuke yi wa Allahna hidima, gama an yanke hadayun hatsi da hadayun sha daga gidan Allahnku.
14 Sanctify ye a fast, call an assembly; gather together the ancients, all the inhabitants of the land into the house of your God: and cry ye to the Lord:
Ku yi shelar azumi mai tsarki; ku kira tsarkakan taro. Ku kira dattawa da kuma dukan mazaunan ƙasar zuwa gidan Ubangiji Allahnku, ku kuma yi kuka ga Ubangiji.
15 Ah, ah, ah, for the day: because the day of the Lord is at hand, and it shall come like destruction from the mighty.
Kaito saboda wannan rana! Gama ranar Ubangiji ta kusa, za tă zo kamar hallaka daga wurin Maɗaukaki.
16 Is not your food cut off before your eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
Ba a yanke abinci a idanunmu, farin ciki da kuma murna daga gidan Allahnmu ba?
17 The beasts have rotted in their dung, the barns are destroyed, the storehouses are broken down: because the corn is confounded.
Iri suna ta yanƙwanewa a busasshiyar ƙasa Ɗakunan ajiya sun lalace, an rurrushe rumbunan hatsin, gama hatsi ya ƙare.
18 Why did the beast groan, why did the herds of cattle low? because there is no pasture for them: yea, and the flocks of sheep are perished.
Ji yadda dabbobi suke nishi! Garkunan shanu sun ruɗe saboda ba su da ciyawa, har garkunan tumaki ma suna shan wahala.
19 To thee, O Lord, will I cry: because fire hath devoured the beautiful places of the wilderness, and the flame hath burnt all the trees of the country.
A gare ka, ya Ubangiji, nake kira, gama wuta ta cinye wurin kiwo harshen wuta kuma ya ƙone dukan itatuwan jeji.
20 Yea and the beasts of the field have looked up to thee, as a garden bed that thirsteth after rain, for the springs of waters are dried up, and fire hath devoured the beautiful places of the wilderness.
Har ma namun jeji suna haki gare ka; rafuffuka sun bushe wuta kuma ta cinye wurin kiwo a jeji.
