< Job 6 >
1 But Job answered, and said:
Dia namaly Joba ka nanao hoe:
2 O that my sins, whereby I have deserved wrath, and the calamity that I suffer, were weighed in a balance.
Enga anie ka holanjaina tokoa ny fahasosorako, ka hampifandaniaina amin’ ny mizana izy sy ny fahoriako!
3 As the sand of the sea this would appear heavier: therefore my words are full of sorrow:
Fa ankehitriny mavesatra noho ny fasika any an-dranomasina ny fahoriako, koa dia nirediredy aho.
4 For the arrows of the Lord are in me, the rage whereof drinketh up my spirit, and the terrors of the Lord war against me.
Fa ny zana-tsipiky ny Tsitoha mitsatoka amiko, ka mifoka ny poizina avy aminy ny fanahiko; Ary ny fampitahorana Andriamanitra milahatra hamely ahy.
5 Will the wild ass bray when he hath grass? or will the ox low when he standeth before a full manger?
Maneno va ny boriki-dia, raha eo amin’ ny vilona? Na mimàmà va ny omby, raha eo amin’ ny fihinany?
6 Or can an unsavoury thing be eaten, that is not seasoned with salt? or can a man taste that which when tasted bringeth death?
Azo hanina va ny matsatso, raha tsy asian-tsira? Na mba misy tsirony va ny tafotsin’ atody?
7 The things which before my soul would not touch, now, through anguish are my meats.
Ny zavatra izay nolaviko tsy hotendrena, dia ireny no tsy maintsy haniko, na dia maharikoriko ahy aza.
8 Who will grant that my request may come: and that God may give me what I look for?
Enga anie ka ho azoko izay angatahiko, ary homen’ Andriamanitra ahy anie izay iriko!
9 And that he that hath begun may destroy me, that he may let loose his hand, and cut me off?
Ka ho sitrak’ Andriamanitra anie ny hanorotoro ahy! Eny, halefany anie ny tànany ka hahamaito ny aiko,
10 And that this may be my comfort, that afflicting me with sorrow, he spare not, nor I contradict the words of the Holy One.
Dia hahita fiononana amin’ izany aho ka hiravoravo na dia amin’ ny fangirifiriana tsy mifaditrovana aza, satria tsy nandà ny tenin’ ny Iray Masìna aho.
11 For what is my strength, that I can hold out? or what is my end that I should keep patience?
Inona moa ny heriko, no hanantena aho? Ary hanao ahoana moa ny farako, no hanindry fo aho?
12 My strength is not the strength of stones, nor is my flesh of brass.
Herim-bato va ny heriko? Na varahina va ny nofoko?
13 Behold there is no help for me in myself, and my familiar friends also are departed from me.
Tsy efa foana va ny hery ho entiko mamonjy tena, ary tsy efa nakifika hiala amiko va ny faharetana?
14 He that taketh away mercy from his friend, forsaketh the fear of the Lord.
Izay efa mivarahontsana dia tokony hiantran’ ny sakaizany. Fandrao mahafoy ny fahatahorana ny Tsitoha izy.
15 My brethren have passed by me, as the torrent that passeth swiftly in the valleys.
Ny rahalahiko mampihambo manana ahy tahaka ny ranotrambo, dia tahaka ny mason-drano any an-dohasahan-driaka, izay malaky ritra,
16 They that fear the hoary frost, the snow shall fall upon them.
Izay mainty azon’ ny ranomandry Sady iafenan’ ny oram-panala;
17 At the time when they shall be scattered they shall perish: and after it groweth hot they shall be melted out of their place.
Fa raha taninin’ ny hainandro izy, dia levona; raha maina ny andro, dia ritra eo amin’ ny fitoerany izy;
18 The paths of their steps are entangled: they shall walk in vain, and shall perish.
Mivilivily no fandehany tankina izy ka levona.
19 Consider the paths of Thema, the ways of Saba, and wait a little while.
Ny antokon’ i Tema mitazana, ny andian’ i Sheba manantena azy;
20 They are confounded, because I have hoped: they are come also even unto me, and are covered with shame.
Very hevitra ireo, satria samy nanampo; tonga teo izy, kanjo nangaihay.
21 Now you are come: and now seeing my affliction you are afraid.
Fa ankehitriny efa tsinontsinona ianareo; Nahita ny fahoriana ianareo ka raiki-tahotra.
22 Did I say: Bring to me, and give me of your substance?
Moa aho va efa nanao hoe: Omeo aho, ka mahafoiza zavatra ho ahy amin’ ny fanananareo,
23 Or deliver me from the hand of the enemy, and rescue me out of the hand of the mighty?
Ary vonjeo amin’ ny tanan’ ny fahavalo aho, ka afaho amin’ ny tanan’ ny mpitohatoha?
24 Teach me, and I will hold my peace: and if I have been ignorant in any thing, instruct me.
Mampianara ahy, dia hangina aho; Ary ampahafantaro izay nahadisoako aho.
25 Why have you detracted the words of truth, whereas there is none of you that can reprove me?
Endrey ny herin’ ny teny marina! Fa mba mahavoa inona kosa moa ny anatra ataonareo?
26 You dress up speeches only to rebuke, and you utter words to the wind.
Ny amin’ ny teniko ihany va no ananaranareo ahy? Fa ho amin’ ny rivotra ny tenin’ ny olona mamoy fo.
27 You rush in upon the fatherless, and you endeavour to overthrow your friend.
Eny, fa na dia ny kamboty aza dia ataonareo loka, ary ny sakaizanareo dia ataonareo varotra.
28 However finish what you have begun, give ear, and see whether I lie.
Fa ankehitriny, masìna ianareo, mba atreho kely aho, dia ho hitanareo fa tsy handainga tsy akory aho.
29 Answer, I beseech you, without contention: and speaking that which is just, judge ye.
Masìna ianareo, diniho indray aho, ary aoka tsy hisy fitsarana tsy marina; eny, diniho indray aho, fa mbola ao ihany ny fahamarinako.
30 And you shall not And iniquity in my tongue, neither shall folly sound in my mouth.
Moa misy heloka va eo amin’ ny lelako?
