Job 19
1 Then Job answered, and said:
१नंतर ईयोबने उत्तर दिले आणि म्हणाला,
2 How long do you afflict my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
२“तुम्ही मला किती वेळ माझ्या जीवाला त्रास देणार आहात? आणि शब्दांनी मला मोडणार आहात?
3 Behold, these ten times you confound me, and are not ashamed to oppress me.
३तुम्ही आतापर्यंत दहा वेळा माझा अपमान केला आहे. तुम्ही कठोरतेने माझ्याबरोबर वागता त्याची लाजही बाळगत नाही
4 For if I have been ignorant, my ignorance shall be with me.
४जर खरच मी काही चुक केली असेल तर, ती चुक माझी मला आहे.
5 But you have set yourselves up against me, and reprove me with my reproaches.
५तुम्ही माझ्यापेक्षा चांगले आहात एवढेच तुम्हास दाखवायचे आहे, माझी संकटे माझ्या चुकीमुळेच निर्माण झाली आहेत असे तुम्ही (उगीचच) म्हणता.
6 At least now understand, that God hath not afflicted me with an equal judgment, and compassed me with his scourges.
६मग तुम्हास हे माहीती पाहिजे कि, देवानेच मला पकडण्यासाठी जाळे टाकले आहे.
7 Behold I cry suffering violence, and no one will hear: I shall cry aloud, and there is none to judge.
७‘पाहा, असे मी ओरडतो कि मी चुकीचे केले आहे, पण कोणी ऐकले नाही. मी मदतीसाठी जोरात ओरडलो तरी न्याय मिळत नाही.
8 He hath hedged in my path round about, and I cannot pass, and in my way he hath set darkness.
८मी पुढे जाऊ नये म्हणून देवाने माझ्या मार्गात अडथळा आणला. त्याने माझ्या मार्गावर अंधकार पाडला आहे.
9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and hath taken the crown from my head.
९देवाने माझी प्रतिष्ठा धुळीला मिळवली. आणि त्याने माझ्या डोक्यावरचा मुकुट काढून घेतला.
10 He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am lost, and he hath taken away my hope, as from a tree that is plucked up.
१०माझा सर्वनाश होईपर्यंत देव मला चाऱ्ही बाजूंनी झोडपतो. एखादे झाड मुळासकट उपटून काढावे त्याप्रमाणे त्याने माझ्या आशा उपटून टाकल्या आहेत.
11 His wrath is kindled against me, and he hath counted me as his enemy.
११त्याचा क्रोध मला जाळीत आहे, तो मला त्याचा एक शत्रू असे संबोधतो.
12 His troops have come together, and have made themselves a way by me, and have besieged my tabernacle round about.
१२त्याचे सैन्य माझ्यावर हल्ला करण्यासाठी पाठवतो ते माझ्याभोवती मोर्चा उभारतात, आणि ते माझ्या डेऱ्याभोवती छावणी टाकतात.
13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and my acquaintance like strangers have departed from me.
१३त्याने माझ्या भावांना माझ्यापासुन फार दूर केले आहे, माझ्या सर्वांना दूर ठेवण्याचा अनुभव त्याने मला दिला आहे.
14 My kinsmen have forsaken me, and they that knew me, have forgotten me.
१४माझे नातलग मला सोडून गेले आहेत, माझ्या जवळचे मित्र मला विसरले आहेत.
15 They that dwelt in my house, and my maidservants have counted me a stranger, and I have been like an alien in their eyes.
१५माझ्या घरी येणारे पाहुणे आणि माझ्या दासी मला परका आणि परदेशातला समजतात, मी त्यांच्या दृष्टीने उपरा झालो आहे.
16 I called my servant, and he gave me no answer, I entreated him with my own mouth.
१६जरी मी माझ्या मुखाने याचना केली, माझ्या नोकराला बोलावले, तरी तो मला उत्तर देत नाही,
17 My wife hath abhorred my breath, and I entreated the children of my womb.
१७माझी पत्नी माझ्या श्वासाचा तिरस्कार करते, माझे स्वतःचे भाऊ आणि बहिणी माझा तिरस्कार करतात.
18 Even fools despise me; and when I gone from them, they spoke against me.
१८लहान मुलेदेखील मला चिडवतात, जेव्हा मी बोलायला जातो तेव्हा ते माझ्या विरूद्ध बोलतात.
19 They that were sometime my counsellors, have abhorred me: and he whom I love most is turned against me.
१९माझे जवळचे मित्रदेखील माझा तिरस्कार करतात. माझे ज्यांच्यावर प्रेम आहे ते लोक देखील माझ्याविरुध्द गेले आहेत.
20 The flesh being consumed. My bone hath cleaved to my skin, and nothing but lips are left about my teeth.
२०मी इतका कृश झालो आहे की माझी कातडी हाडांवर लोबंते, मी केवळ दाताच्या कातडीने बचावलो आहे.
21 Have pity on me, have pity on me, at least you my friends, because the hand of the Lord hath touched me.
२१माझी दया येऊ द्या, मित्रांनो, तुम्हास माझी दया येऊ द्या! कारण देवाचा हात मजवर पडला आहे.
22 Why do you persecute me as God, and glut yourselves with my flesh?
२२तुम्ही माझा छळ असा करीत आहात जसे तुम्ही देव आहात. माझ्या देहाला सतत त्रास देण्याचा तुम्हास कंटाळा येत नाही का?
23 Who will grant me that my words may be written? Who will grant me that they may be marked down in a book?
२३अहो, मी जे बोलतो ते कुणीतरी लिहून ठेवावे! अहो, ते पुस्तकात नमुद करून ठेवायला हवेत.
24 With an iron pen and in a plate of lead, or else be graven with an instrument in flint stone.
२४अहो, मी जे बोलतो ते लोखंडी कलमाने शिश्यावर किंवा पाषाणावर कोरुन कायम करायला हवे.
25 For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and in the last day I shall rise out of the earth.
२५माझा तारण करणारा जिवंत आहे याची मला खात्री आहे. आणि शेवटी तो या पृथ्वीतलावर येऊन उभा राहील.
26 And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I will see my God.
२६मी जेव्हा माझे शरीर सोडून जाईन तेव्हा आणि माझी कातडी नष्ट होईल तेव्हा सुध्दा मी देवाला पाहू शकेन.
27 Whom I myself shall see, and my eyes shall behold, and not another: this my hope is laid up in my bosom.
२७मी देवाला बघेन, तर मी स्वत: च त्यास पाहीन, माझे डोळे त्यास पाहतील, आणि ते परक्यासारखे राहणार नाही. माझा अतंरात्मा झुरत आहे.
28 Why then do you say now: Let us persecute him, and let us find occasion of word against him?
२८या सगळ्याचे मूळ माझ्याकडेच आढळून आले आहे, म्हणून याचा छळ कोणत्या प्रकारे करावा असे तुम्ही म्हणाल.
29 Flee then from the face of the sword, for the sword is the revenger of iniquities: and know ye that there is judgment.
२९तर तुम्हास तलवारीची भीती वाटायला हवी, कारण रागामुळे तलवारीने शासन होते, यावरुन तुम्हास कळेल की न्याय आहे.”
