Jeremiah 41
1 And it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ismahel the son of Nathanias, the son of Elisama of the royal blood, and the nobles of the king, and ten men with him, came to Godolias the son of Ahicam into Masphath: and they ate bread there together in Masphath.
Karon nahitabo sa ikapito ka bulan nga si Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias, ang anak nga lalake ni Elisama, sa kaliwat nga harianon ug usa sa mga labawng pangulo sa hari, ug napulo ka tawo uban kaniya ming-adto kang Gedalias ang anak nga lalake ni Ahicam sa Mispa; ug didto sila nanagsalo pagpangaon ug tinapay sa Mispa.
2 And Ismahel the son of Nathanias arose, and the ten men that were with him, and they struck Godolias the son of Ahicam, the son of Saphan with the sword, and slew him whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.
Unya mitindog si Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias, ug ang napulo ka tawo nga diha uban kaniya, ug gitigbas sa espada si Gedalias ang anak nga lalake ni Ahicam ang anak nga lalake ni Safan, ug gipatay siya, nga gibuhat sa hari sa Babilonia nga gobernador sa yuta.
3 Ismahel slew also all the Jews that were with Godolias in Masphath, and the Chaldeans that were found there, and the soldiers.
Gipatay usab ni Ismael ang tanang mga Judio nga ming-uban kaniya, nga mao ang kauban ni Gedalias didto sa Mispa, ug ang mga Caldeahanon nga hingkaplagan didto, ang mga tawo sa gubat.
4 And on the second day after he had killed Godolias, no man yet knowing it,
Ug nahitabo sa ikaduha ka adlaw, sa tapus niya patya si Gedalias, ug walay tawong nahibalo niini,
5 There came some from Sichem, and from Silo, and from Samaria, fourscore men, with their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and mourning: and they had offerings and incense in their hand, to offer in the house of the Lord.
Nga may ming-abut nga pipila ka tawo nga gikan sa Sichem, gikan sa Silo, ug gikan sa Samaria. bisan ang kawaloan ka tawo nga binarbasan ang ilang mga bungot ug ang ilang mga sinina ginisi, ug nga sinamaran ang ilang kaugalingon, uban ang mga halad-nga-kalan-on ug ang incienso diha sa ilang kamot, aron kini dad-on nila ngadto sa balay ni Jehova.
6 And Ismahel the son of Nathanias went forth from Masphath to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and when he had met them, he said to them: Come to Godolias, the son of Ahicam.
Ug si Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias miadto gikan sa Mispa sa pagtagbo kanila, nga nagahilak samtang nagalakaw siya: ug nahitabo nga sa gihibalag niya sila, siya miingon kanila: Umari kamo kang Gedalias anak nga lalake ni Ahicam.
7 And when they were come to the midst of the city, Ismahel the son of Nathanias, slew them, and cast them into the midst of the pit, he and the men that were with him.
Ug mao kadto nga sa paghiabut nila sa taliwala sa ciudad, gipatay sila ni Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias, ug gitambog sila sa taliwala sa usa ka gahong, siya, ug ang mga tawo nga ming-uban kaniya.
8 But ten men were found among them, that said to Ismahel: Kill us not: for we have stores in the field, of wheat, and barley, and oil, and honey. And he forbore, and slew them not with their brethren.
Apan may napulo ka tawo nga hingkaplagan uban kanila nga ming-ingon kang Ismael: Ayaw kami pagpatya; kay kami adunay mga bahandi nga tinagoan dinhi sa uma, sa trigo, ug sa cebada, ug sa lana, ug sa dugos. Busa nagpugong siya ug sila wala patya sa taliwala sa ilang mga kaigsoonan.
9 And the pit into which Ismahel cast all the dead bodies of the men whom he slew because of Godolias, is the same that king Asa made, for fear of Baasa the king of Israel: the same did Ismahel the son of Nathanias fill with them that were slain.
Karon ang gahong nga gibutang ni Ismael sa tanang mga minatay sa mga tawo nga iyang gipamatay, sa luyo ni Gedalias (nga mao ang binuhat ni Asa nga hari tungod sa iyang kahadlok kang Baasa nga hari sa Israel), gipuno kini ni Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias sa mga gipamatay.
10 Then Ismahel carried away captive all the remnant of the people that were in Masphath: the king’s daughters, and all the people that remained in Masphath: whom Nabuzardan the general of the army had committed to Godolias the son of Ahicam. And Ismahel the son of Nathanias took them, and he departed, to go over to the children of Ammon.
Unya gibihag ni Ismael ang tanang salin sa mga tawo nga diha sa Mispa, bisan pa ang mga anak nga babaye sa hari, ug ang tanang mga tawo nga nagpabilin sa Mispa, kadtong gitugyan ni Nebusaradan ang capitan sa mga magbalantay kang Gedalias ang anak nga lalake ni Ahicam; ug sila gibihag ni Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias, ug migikan paingon ngadto sa mga anak sa Ammon.
11 But Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the fighting men that were with him, heard of the evil that Ismahel the son of Nathanias had done.
Apan sa diha nga si Johanan ang anak nga lalake ni Carea, ug ang tanang mga capitan sa kasundalohan nga ming-uban kaniya nakadungog sa tanang mga kadaut nga gihimo ni Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias,
12 And taking all the men, they went out to fight against Ismahel the son of Nathanias, and they found him by the great waters that are in Gabaon.
Unya ilang gidala ang tanang mga tawo, ug ming-adto aron sa pagpakig-away kang Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias, ug hikaplagan nila siya didto sa haduol sa dagkung katubigan nga atua sa Gabaon.
13 And when all the people that were with Ismahel, had seen Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the fighting men that were with him, they rejoiced.
Karon nahitabo sa diha nga ang tanang mga tawo nga diha uban kang Ismael nakakita kang Johanan ang anak nga lalake ni Carea, ug sa tanang mga capitan sa kasundalohan nga ming-uban kaniya, nan nangalipay sila.
14 And all the people whom Ismahel had taken, went back to Masphath: and they returned and went to Johanan the son of Caree.
Busa ang tanang mga tawo nga gibihag ni Ismael gikan sa Mispa, mingbalitok ug mingbalok, ug mingtipon kang Johanan ang anak nga lalake ni Carea.
15 But Ismahel the son of Nathanias fled with eight men, from the face of Johanan, and went to the children of Ammon.
Apan si Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias mikalagiw gikan kang Johanan uban ang walo ka tawo, ug ming-adto sa mga anak sa Ammon.
16 Then Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the soldiers that were with him, took all the remnant of the people whom they had recovered from Ismahel the son of Nathanias, from Masphath, after that he had slain Godolias the son of Ahicam: valiant men for war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought back from Gabaon:
Unya si Johanan ang anak nga lalake ni Carea, ug ang tanang mga capitan sa mga sundalo nga ming-uban kaniya, mingdala sa tanang nahibilin sa mga tawo nga iyang nakuha gikan kang Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias, gikan sa Mispa, sa tapus niya patya si Gedalias ang anak nga lalake ni Ahicam, nga mao ang mga malig-ong tawo sa gubat, ug ang mga babaye ug ang mga bata ug ang mga eunuco nga iyang gidala pagbalik gikan sa Gabaon.
17 And they departed, and sat as sojourners in Chamaam, which is near Bethlehem: in order to go forward, and enter into Egypt,

18 From the face of the Chaldeans: for they were afraid of them, because Ismahel the son of Nathanias had slain Godolias the son of Ahicam, whom the king of Babylon had made governor in the land of Juda.
Tungod sa mga Caldeahanon; kay sila nangahadlok kanila, tungod kay si Ismael ang anak nga lalake ni Nethanias mipatay kang Gedalias ang anak nga lalake ni Ahicam, nga gihimong gobernador sa tibook yuta sa hari sa Babilonia.
