Jeremiah 25
1 The word that came to Jeremias concerning all the people of Juda, in the fourth year of Joakim the son of Josias king of Juda, (the same is the first year of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, )
Mao kini ang mga pulong nga miabot kang Jeremias mahitungod sa tanang katawhan sa Juda. Nahitabo kini sa ikaupat nga tuig nga si Jehoyakim ang anak nga lalaki ni Josia, ang hari sa Juda. Mao kadto ang unang tuig sa paghari ni Nebucadnezar, ang hari sa Babilonia.
2 Which Jeremias the prophet spoke to all the people of Juda, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:
Gimantala kini ni Jeremias nga propeta sa tanang katawhan sa Juda ug sa tanang lumolupyo sa Jerusalem.
3 From the thirteenth year of Josias the son of Ammon king of Juda until this day: this is the three and twentieth year, the word of the Lord hath come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising before day, and speaking, and you have not hearkened.
Miingon siya, “Sulod sa 23 ka tuig, sukad sa ika-13 nga tuig sa paghari ni Josia ang anak nga lalaki ni Amon, ang hari sa Juda hangtod niining adlawa, miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh ug gibalikbalik ko kini sa pagsugilon kaninyo, apan wala gayod kamo maminaw.
4 And the Lord hath sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising early, and sending, and you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ears to hear.
Gipadala ni Yahweh sa makadaghan nganha kaninyo ang tanan niyang mga sulugoon nga mao ang mga propeta, apan wala gayod kamo naminaw ni nanumbaling.
5 When he said: Return ye, every one from his evil way, and from your wicked devices, and you shall dwell in the land which the Lord hath given to you, and your fathers for ever and ever.
Miingon kining mga propeta, “Kinahanglan mobiya ang tagsatagsa ka tawo gikan sa iyang pagkadaotan ug sa malaw-ay niyang mga binuhatan ug balik sa yuta nga gihatag na kaniadto ni Yahweh ngadto sa inyong mga katigulangan ug alang kaninyo, ingon nga makanunayong gasa.
6 And go not after strange gods to serve them, and adore them: nor provoke me to wrath by the works of your hands, and I will not afflict you.
Busa ayaw kamo pagsunod sa laing mga dios sa pagsimba kanila o sa pagyukbo kanila, ug ayaw ninyo siya hagita pinaagi sa buhat sa inyong mga kamot aron dili niya kamo silotan.'
7 And you have not heard me, saith the Lord, that you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, to your own hurt.
Apan wala kamo naminaw kanako—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—tungod niana gihagit hinuon ninyo ako pinaagi sa buhat sa inyong mga kamot aron masilotan kamo.
8 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts: Because you have not heard my words:
Busa miingon niini si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom, 'Tungod kay wala man ninyo paminawa ang akong mga pulong,
9 Behold I will send, and take all the kindreds of the north, saith the Lord, and Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon my servant: and I will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all the nations that are round about it: and I will destroy them, and make them an astonishment and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.
tan-awa, pasugoan ko nga tigomon ang tanang katawhan sa amihanan—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—pinaagi kang Nebucadnezar nga akong sulugoon, ang hari sa Babilonia, ug ipasulong ko sila batok niining yutaa ug sa mga lumolupyo niini, ug batok sa tanang kasikbit nga kanasoran diha kaninyo. Kay lainon ko sila sa kalaglagan. Himoon ko silang kahadlokan, biaybiayon, ug walay kataposang paggun-ob.
10 And I will take away from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the mill, and the light of the lamp.
Pahilumon ko ang kasaba sa kalipay ug sa pagmaya, ang kabanha sa pamanhonon ug sa pangasaw-onon, ang tingog sa mga galingan ug palungon ko ang kahayag sa lampara.
11 And all this land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment: and all these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
Unya kining yutaa mahimong awaaw ug kahadlokan, ug kining mga nasora mag-alagad sa hari sa Babilonia sulod sa 70 ka tuig.
12 And when the seventy years shall be expired, I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans: and I will make it perpetual desolations.
Unya mahitabo kini nga sa dihang matapos na ang 70 ka tuig, silotan ko ang hari sa Babilonia ug ang siyudad nga yuta sa Caldeanhon—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—tungod sa ilang mga sala ug mahimo kining awaaw hangtod sa hangtod.
13 And I will bring upon the land all my words, that I have spoken against it, all that is written in this book, all that Jeremias hath prophesied against all nations:
Unya ipahamtang ko batok nianang yutaa ang akong gipanulti, ug ang tanang nahisulat sa libro nga gipanagna ni Jeremias batok sa tanang kanasoran.
14 For they have served them, whereas they were many nations, and great kings: and I will repay them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their hands.
Uliponon usab sila sa ubang kanasoran ug bantogang mga hari. Panimaslan ko sila sa ilang mga nabuhat ug sa gibuhat sa ilang mga kamot.”'
15 For thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Take the cup of wine of this fury at my hand: and thou shalt make all nations to drink thereof, unto which I shall send thee.
Kay miingon niini kanako si Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel, “Kuhaa kining kupa sa bino sa kapungot gikan sa akong kamot ug paimna niini ang tanang kanasoran nga paadtoan ko kanimo.
16 And they shall drink, and be troubled, and be mad because of the sword, which I shall send among them.
Kay kung makainom masupinday dayon sila, ug mangabuang gumikan sa akong gipadala nga espada nganha kanila.”
17 And I took the cup at the hand of the Lord, and I presented it to all the nations to drink of it, to which the Lord sent me:
Busa gidawat ko ang kupa sa bino gikan sa kamot ni Yahweh, ug gipainom ko ang tanang kanasoran nga gipaadtoan kanako ni Yahweh:
18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Juda, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof: to make them a desolation, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a curse, as it is at this day.
sa Jerusalem, sa mga siyudad sa Juda, sa mga hari niini, ug sa mga opisyal—aron malaglag sila ug kahadlokan, ug biaybiayon ug tinunglo, sama sa nahitabo kanila sa kasamtangang panahon.
19 Pharao the king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people,
Ang ubang mga nasod gipainom usab niini: si Faraon nga hari sa Ehipto ug ang iyang mga ulipon; ang iyang mga opisyal ug ang tanan niyang katawhan;
20 And all in general: all the kings of the land of Ausitis, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ascalon, and Gaza, and Accaron, and the remnant of Azotus.
ang tanang katawhan nga nagkasagol ang kaliwatan ug ang tanang hari sa yuta sa Uz; ang tanang hari sa Filistia—sa Ashkelon, sa Gaza, sa Ekron, ug ang nahibiling bahin sa Ashdod;
21 And Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon.
sa Edom ug sa Moab ug ang katawhan sa Amon.
22 And all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon: and the kings of the land of the islands that are beyond the sea.
Ang mga hari sa Tyre ug sa Sidon, ang mga hari sa mga baybayon sa pikas bahin sa dagat,
23 And Dedan, and Thema, and Buz, and all that have their hair cut round.
sa Dedan, sa Tema, ug sa Buz uban ang tanang katawhan nga nagpatupi, kinahanglan paimnon usab sila niini.
24 And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the west, that dwell in the desert.
Mao usab kini ang mga tawo nga moinom niini: ang tanang hari sa Arabia ug ang mga hari sa katawhan nga nagkasagol ang kaliwatan nga nagpuyo sa kamingawan;
25 And all the kings of Zambri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Medes:
ang tanang hari sa Zimri, ang tanang hari sa Elam, ug ang tanang hari sa Medes;
26 And all the kings of the north far and near, every one against his brother: and all the kingdoms of the earth, which are upon the face thereof: and the king of Sesac shall drink after them.
ang tanang hari sa amihanan, ang mga katawhan nga duol ug lagyo—ang tanang katawhan nga uban sa iyang igsoong lalaki ug ang tanang mga gingharian sa kalibotan nga anaa ibabaw sa yuta. Sa kataposan ang hari sa Babilonia ang gipainom human nilang tanan.
27 And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and vomit: and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword, which I shall send among you.
Miingon si Yahweh kanako, “Karon kinahanglan sultihan mo sila, 'Si Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel, miingon niini: Inom hangtod mahubog, unya magsuka, mangatumba, ug dili na makabangon tungod sa espada nga ipadangat ko diha kaninyo.''
28 And if they refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Drinking you shall drink:
Unya kung mahitabo nga magdumili sila sa pagdawat sa kupa nga anaa sa imong kamot aron imnon, sultihi sila, 'Si Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom miingon niini: Kinahanglan moinom gayod kamo niini.
29 For behold I begin to bring evil on the city wherein my name is called upon: and shall you be as innocent and escape free? you shall not escape free: for I will call for the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.
Kay tan-awa, ipahamtang ko na ang katalagman sa siyudad nga gitawag pinaagi sa akong ngalan, ug makalingkawas ba kamo gikan sa silot? Dili gayod kamo makalingkawas, kay pahamtangan ko ug espada ang tanang lumolupyo niining yutaa! —mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom.'
30 And thou shalt prophesy unto them all these words, and thou shalt say to them: The Lord shall roar from on high, and shall utter his voice from his holy habitation: roaring he shall roar upon the place of his beauty: the shout as it were of them that tread grapes shall be given out against all the inhabitants of the earth.
Kinahanglan ipanagna mo kining mga pulong batok kanila, ug isulti ngadto kanila, 'Modahunog ang tingog ni Yahweh gikan sa kahitas-an ug mosinggit gikan sa iyang balaang dapit, ug modahunog gayod ang iyang tingog batok sa iyang katawhan; ug mosinggit siya batok sa tanan nga nagpuyo sa kalibotan, sama niadtong mga katawhan nga nagpuga sa mga ubas.
31 The noise is come even to the ends of the earth: for the Lord entereth into judgement with the nations: he entereth into judgement with all flesh; the wicked I have delivered up to the sword, saith the Lord.
Ang tingog sa pagpakiggubat molanog hangtod sa kinatumyan sa kalibotan, tungod kay paninglon man ni Yahweh ang mga sumbong batok sa tanang kanasoran, ug pagahukman niya ang tanang buhing binuhat. Itugyan niya ang mga daotan ngadto sa espada—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh.'
32 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Behold evil shall go forth from nation to nation: and a great whirlwind shall go forth from the ends of the earth.
Nag-ingon niini si Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom, 'Tan-awa, ang katalagman modangat gayod sa tagsatagsa ka mga nasod, ug ang dakong bagyo magsugod gikan sa labing suok nga bahin sa kalibotan.
33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end thereof: they shall not be lamented, and they shall not be gathered up, nor buried: they shall lie as dung upon the face of the earth.
Unya kadtong gipamatay ni Yahweh nianang adlawa magkatag sa bisan asang bahin sa kalibotan; walay magbangotan kanila, maghipos, o maglubong. Mahisama sila sa hugaw nga anaa sa yuta.
34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry: and sprinkle yourselves with ashes, ye leaders of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and your dispersion are accomplished, and you shall fall like precious vessels.
Pagminatay ug pagpakitabang kamong mga magbalantay! Pagligid diha sa mga abog, kamong mga pangulo sa panon, kay ang mga adlaw nga pagaihawon kamo nahiabot na; mabungkag kamo sa dihang malaglag kamo sama sa mahalon nga kolon.
35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to save themselves.
Walay kadangpan alang sa mga magbalantay, wala gayoy kaikyasan sa mga pangulo sa panon.
36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the principal of the flock: because the Lord hath wasted their pastures.
Pamatia ang paghilak sa mga magbalantay ug ang pagminatay sa mga pangulo sa panon, kay gilaglag ni Yahweh ang ilang mga sibsiban.
37 And the fields of peace have been silent, because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
Busa ang malinawon nga mga sibsiban mahimong biniyaan tungod sa tumang kasuko ni Yahweh.
38 He has forsaken his covert as the lion, for the land is laid waste because of the wrath of the dove, and because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
Sama sa batang liyon nga mibiya sa iyang langub, kay ang ilang dapit nahimong kahadlokan tungod sa kasuko sa nagdaogdaog, ug tungod usab sa iyang mabangis nga kapungot.'''
