Isaiah 61
1 The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me: he hath sent me to preach to the meek, to heal the contrite of heart, and to preach a release to the captives, and deliverance to them that are shut up.
O Espírito do Senhor DEUS está sobre mim; pois o SENHOR me ungiu, para dar boas novas aos mansos; ele me enviou para sarar aos feridos de coração, para anunciar liberdade aos cativos, e libertação aos prisioneiros.
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God: to comfort all that mourn:
Para anunciar o ano do favor do SENHOR, e o dia da vingança de nosso Deus; para consolar todos os tristes.
3 To appoint to the mourners of Sion, and to give them a crown for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of grief: and they shall be called in it the mighty ones of justice, the planting of the Lord to glorify hint.
Para ordenar aos tristes de Sião, que lhes seja dado ornamento no lugar de cinza, óleo de alegria no lugar de tristeza, vestes de louvor no lugar de espírito angustiado; para que sejam chamados de carvalhos da justiça, plantação do SENHOR; para que ele seja glorificado.
4 And they shall build the places that have been waste from of old, and shall raise up ancient ruins, and shall repair the desolate cities, that were destroyed for generation and generation.
E edificarão os lugares arruinados desde os tempos antigos, restaurarão os desde antes destruídos, e renovarão as cidades arruinadas, destruídas desde muitas gerações.
5 And strangers shall stand and shall feed your flocks: and the sons of strangers shall be your husbandmen, and the dressers of your vines.
E estrangeiros apascentarão vossos rebanhos, e filhos de outras nações serão vossos lavradores e vossos trabalhadores nas vinhas.
6 But you shall be called the priests of the Lord: to you it shall be said: Ye ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and you shall pride yourselves in their glory.
Porém vós sereis chamados sacerdotes do SENHOR; chamarão a vós de trabalhadores a serviço de nosso Deus; comereis dos bens das nações, e da riqueza deles vós vos orgulhareis.
7 For your double confusion and shame, they shall praise their part: therefore shall they receive double in their land, everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Em vez de vossa vergonha, [tereis] porção dobrada; e [em vez] de humilhação, terão alegria sobre sua parte; pois em sua terra terão posse do dobro, [e] terão alegria eterna.
8 For I am the Lord that love judgment, and hate robbery in a holocaust: and I will make their work in truth, and I will make a perpetual covenant with them.
Porque eu, o SENHOR, amo a justiça, e odeio o roubo com sacrifício de queima; e farei que sua obra seja em verdade, e farei um pacto eterno com eles.
9 And they shall know their seed among the Gentiles, and their offspring in the midst of peoples: all that shall see them, shall know them, that these are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.
E sua descendência será conhecida entre as nações, e seus descendentes em meio aos povos; todos quantos os virem, os reconhecerão, que são descendência abençoada pelo SENHOR.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, and my soul shall be joyful in my God: for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation: and with the robe of justice he hath covered me, as a bridegroom decked with a crown, and as a bride adorned with her jewels.
Eu estou muito jubilante no SENHOR, minha alma se alegra em meu Deus; porque ele me vestiu de roupas de salvação; ele me cobriu com a capa da justiça, tal como o noivo [quando] se veste da roupa sacerdotal, e como a noiva se enfeita com suas joias.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth her seed to shoot forth: so shall the Lord God make justice to spring forth, and praise before all the nations.
Porque tal como a terra produz seus renovos, e como o jardim faz brotar o que nele se semeia, assim também o Senhor DEUS fará brotar justiça e louvor diante de todas as nações.
