Isaiah 60

1 Arise, be enlightened, O Jerusalem: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

۱ برخیز و درخشان شو زیرا نور تو آمده و جلال خداوند بر تو طالع گردیده است.

2 For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and a mist the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

۲ زیرا اینک تاریکی جهان را و ظلمت غلیظ طوایف را خواهد پوشانید اما خداوند بر توطلوع خواهد نمود و جلال وی بر تو ظاهرخواهد شد.

3 And the Gentiles shall walk in thy light, and kings in the brightness of thy rising.

۳ و امت‌ها بسوی نور تو و پادشاهان بسوی درخشندگی طلوع تو خواهند آمد.

4 Lift up thy eyes round about, and see: all these are gathered together, they are come to thee: thy sons shall come from afar, and thy daughters shall rise up at thy side.

۴ چشمان خود را به اطراف خویش برافراز و ببین که جمیع آنها جمع شده، نزد تو می‌آیند. پسرانت از دور خواهند آمد و دخترانت را در آغوش خواهند‌آورد.

5 Then shalt thou see, and abound, and thy heart shall wonder and be enlarged, when the multitude of the sea shall be converted to thee, the. strength of the Gentiles shall come to thee.

۵ آنگاه خواهی دید و خواهی درخشید و دل تو لرزان شده، وسیع خواهد گردید، زیرا که توانگری دریا بسوی تو گردانیده خواهد شد و دولت امت‌ها نزد تو خواهد آمد.

6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Madian and Epha: all they from Saba shall come, bringing gold and frankincense: and shewing forth praise to the Lord.

۶ کثرت شتران و جمازگان مدیان و عیفه تو راخواهند پوشانید. جمیع اهل شبع خواهند آمد وطلا و بخور آورده، به تسبیح خداوند بشارت خواهند داد.

7 All the flocks of Cedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nabaioth shall minister to thee: they shall be offered upon my acceptable altar, and I will glorify the house of my majesty.

۷ جمیع گله های قیدار نزد تو جمع خواهند شد و قوچهای نبایوت تو را خدمت خواهند نمود. به مذبح من با پذیرایی برخواهندآمد و خانه جلال خود را زینت خواهم داد.

8 Who are these, that fly as clouds, and as doves to their windows?

۸ اینها کیستند که مثل ابر پرواز می‌کنند ومانند کبوتران بر وزنهای خود؟

9 For, the islands wait for me, and the ships of the sea in the beginning: that I may bring thy sons from afar: their silver, and their gold with them, to the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

۹ به درستی که جزیره‌ها و کشتیهای ترشیش اول انتظار مراخواهند کشید تا پسران تو را از دور و نقره وطلای ایشان را با ایشان بیاورند، به جهت اسم یهوه خدای تو و به جهت قدوس اسرائیل زیرا که تو را زینت داده است.

10 And the children of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister to thee: for in my wrath have I struck thee, and in my reconciliation have I had mercy upon thee.

۱۰ و غریبان، حصارهای تو را بنا خواهند نمود و پادشاهان ایشان تو راخدمت خواهند کرد زیرا که در غضب خود تو رازدم لیکن به لطف خویش تو را ترحم خواهم نمود.

11 And thy gates shall be open continually: they shall not be shut day nor night, that the strength of the Gentiles may be brought to thee, and their kings may be brought.

۱۱ دروازه های تو نیز دائم باز خواهد بود وشب و روز بسته نخواهد گردید تا دولت امت‌ها رانزد تو بیاورند و پادشاهان ایشان همراه آورده شوند.

12 For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee, shall perish: and the Gentiles shall be wasted with desolation.

۱۲ زیرا هر امتی و مملکتی که تو را خدمت نکند تلف خواهد شد و آن امت‌ها تمام هلاک خواهند گردید.

13 The glory of Libanus shall come to thee, the Ar tree, and the box tree, and the pine tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary: and I will glorify the place of my feet.

۱۳ جلال لبنان با درختان صنوبر و کاج و چناربا هم برای تو آورده خواهند شد تا مکان مقدس مرا زینت دهند و جای پایهای خود را تمجیدخواهم نمود.

14 And the children of them that afflict thee, shall come bowing down to thee, and all that slandered thee shall worship the steps of thy feet, and shall call thee the city of the Lord, the Sion of the Holy One of Israel.

۱۴ و پسران آنانی که تو را ستم می رسانند خم شده، نزد تو خواهند آمد و جمیع آنانی که تو را اهانت می‌نمایند نزد کف پایهای توسجده خواهند نمود و تو را شهر یهوه و صهیون قدوس اسرائیل خواهند نامید.

15 Because thou wast forsaken, and hated, and there was none that passed through thee, I will make thee to be an everlasting glory, a joy unto generation and generation:

۱۵ به عوض آنکه تو متروک و مبغوض بودی و کسی از میان تو گذرنمی کرد. من تو را فخر جاودانی و سرور دهرهای بسیار خواهم گردانید.

16 And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and thou shalt be nursed with the breasts of kings: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

۱۶ و شیر امت‌ها را خواهی مکید و پستانهای پادشاهان را خواهی مکید وخواهی فهمید که من یهوه نجات‌دهنده تو هستم و من قدیر اسرائیل، ولی تو می‌باشم.

17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver: and for wood brass, and for stones iron: and I will make thy visitation peace, and thy overseers justice.

۱۷ به‌جای برنج، طلا خواهم آورد و به‌جای آهن، نقره و به‌جای چوب، برنج و به‌جای سنگ، آهن خواهم آورد و سلامتی را ناظران تو و عدالت را حاکمان تو خواهم گردانید.

18 Iniquity shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction in thy borders, and salvation shall possess thy walls, and praise thy gates.

۱۸ و بار دیگر ظلم در زمین توو خرابی و ویرانی در حدود تو مسموع نخواهدشد و حصارهای خود را نجات و دروازه های خویش را تسبیح خواهی نامید.

19 Thou shalt no more have the sun for thy light by day, neither shall the brightness of the moon enlighten thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light, and thy God for thy glory.

۱۹ و بار دیگرآفتاب در روز نور تو نخواهد بود و ماه بادرخشندگی برای تو نخواهد تابید زیرا که یهوه نور جاودانی تو و خدایت زیبایی تو خواهد بود.

20 Thy sun shall go down no more, and thy moon shall not decrease: for the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

۲۰ و بار دیگر آفتاب تو غروب نخواهد کرد و ماه تو زوال نخواهد پذیرفت زیرا که یهوه برای تونور جاودانی خواهد بود و روزهای نوحه گری توتمام خواهد شد.

21 And thy people shall be all just, they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hand to glorify me.

۲۱ و جمیع قوم تو عادل خواهند بود و زمین را تا به ابد متصرف خواهندشد. شاخه مغروس من و عمل دست من، تاتمجید کرده شوم.

22 The least shall become a thousand, and a little one a most strong nation: I the Lord will suddenly do this thing in its time.

۲۲ صغیر هزار نفر خواهد شدو حقیر امت قوی خواهد گردید. من یهوه دروقتش تعجیل در آن خواهم نمود.
