< Hebrews 7 >
1 For this Melchisedech was king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him:
Melchizedek asi Salem-gi ningthouni aduga Wangthoiraba Tengban Mapugi purohit amani. Abraham-na ningthou maribu landa maithiba piraga hallakpada Melchizedek-na mahakpu unaraga yaipha thoujal pirammi,
2 To whom also Abraham divided the tithes of all: who first indeed by interpretation, is king of justice: and then also king of Salem, that is, king of peace:
adudagi Abraham-na landagi lourakpa pot pumnamak adudagi saruk tara thokpagi ama mahakna mangonda pirammi. (Melchizedek haiba ming asigi wahanthokti ahanbada “Achumba chatpagi Ningthou” haibani aduga mahakna Salem-gi ningthou oibagi maramna mahakki minggi wahanthok amadi “Ingthabagi Ningthou” haibani.)
3 Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but likened unto the Son of God, continueth a priest for ever.
Mahakki mama mapa pari puri amadi mahak pokpa amasung sibagi maramda a-iba amata leite. Mahak Tengban Mapugi Machanupagumna matam pumnamakki oina purohit oina lei.
4 Now consider how great this man is, to whom also Abraham the patriarch gave tithes out of the principal things.
Mahak kayada chaokhraba haibadu nakhoina ure. Saknairaba eikhoigi ipa ipu oiriba Abraham-na landagi phanglakpa pot pumnamak adugi saruk tara thokpagi ama mangonda pikhi.
5 And indeed they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is to say, of their brethren: though they themselves also came out of the loins of Abraham.
Purohitki pham phanglaba Levi-gi charol surolsingna makhoi masagi mi oiriba aduga Abraham-gi charol surolsu oiriba Israel-gi misingdagi saruk taragi ama lounaba Wayel Yathangna yathang pire.
6 But he, whose pedigree is not numbered among them, received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
Adubu Melchizedek-ti Levi-gi charol surol natte aduga mahakna Abraham-dagi saruk taragi ama loure amadi mahakna Tengban Mapugi wasakpibasing phanglaba mi adubu yaipha thoujal pibire.
7 And without all contradiction, that which is less, is blessed by the better.
Yaipha thoujal pibiriba aduna yaipha thoujal phangliba adudagi henna chao-i haibasi chingnaningngai leite.
8 And here indeed, men that die, receive thithes: but there he hath witness, that he liveth.
Siba naiba purohitsing aduna saruk taragi ama lou-i adubu Mapugi puyana haibagi matung inna hingduna leiba Melchizedek-na saruk taragi ama lou-i.
9 And (as it may be said) even Levi who received tithes, paid tithes in Abraham:
Asumna haiba yai, Abraham-na saruk taragi ama pibada Levi-nasu (mahakki charol surolna saruk taragi ama louriba) pikhi.
10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedech met him.
Maramdi Melchizedek-na Abraham-bu unaba matamda Levi-di poktri, asumna haiba yai Levi-di mahakki mapa mapu oiriba Abraham-gi hakchangda yaorammi.
11 If then perfection was by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law, ) what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchisedech, and not be called according to the order of Aaron?
Levi-singgi purohitki phamda yumpham oiraga Wayel Yathang adu Israel-gi misingda pibani. Adubu Levi-singgi thabak adugi mapanna mapung phahanba ngamlamlabadi, Aaron-dagi nattaba Melchizedek-ki mawongda oiba atoppa makhalgi purohit amamuk thorakpagi kanaba leiramloidabani.
12 For the priesthood being translated, it is necessary that a translation also be made of the law.
Maramdi purohitki mawong hongdokpa matamda, wayel yathangsu hongba tabani.
13 For he, of whom these things are spoken, is of another tribe, of which no one attended on the altar.
Atoppa salaigi mi oiba eikhoigi Mapu Ibungogi maramda hiramsing asi haibani, mahakki salai asidagi purohit oina amukta thougal toukhidri.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprung out of Juda: in which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priests.
Ibungo mahakti Judah-gi salai-da pokpani haibasi ningthina khangnarabani; Moses-na purohitsinggi maramda haiba matamda salai asi pankhide.
15 And it is yet far more evident: if according to the similitude of Melchisedech there ariseth another priest,
Hiram asi henna mayek sengle; Melchizedek-ka mannaba atoppa purohit ama thorakle.
16 Who is made not according to the law of a carnal commandment, but according to the power of an indissoluble life:
Mahak asi mioibagi chatna pathapna purohit oihanba natte adubu aroiba leitaba hingba amagi panggalna oihanbani.
17 For he testifieth: Thou art a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchisedech. (aiōn )
Maramdi Mapugi puyana hai, “Nahakti Melchizedek-ki matougumna matam pumbagi oina purohit ama oigani.” (aiōn )
18 There is indeed a setting aside of the former commandment, because of the weakness and unprofitableness thereof:
Maramdi ariba pathap adu sonba amasung kanadaba maramna madu tonganna thamle.
19 (For the law brought nothing to perfection, ) but a bringing in of a better hope, by which we draw nigh to God.
Maramdi Moses-ki Wayel Yathangna kari amata mapung phahanba ngamde. Houjikti henna phaba asa ama pibire maduna Tengban Mapugi manakta eikhoina changsille.
20 And inasmuch as it is not without an oath, (for the others indeed were made priests without an oath;
Madugi mathakta Tengban Mapugi wasakpiba adu lei. Atoppasingbu purohit oihanba matamda asigumba wasakpa leite.
21 But this with an oath, by him that said unto him: The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever.) (aiōn )
Adubu Jisuna purohit oiba matamda wasakpa yao-i masi Tengban Mapuna Ibungoda haikhi, “MAPU IBUNGO-na achetpa wasak ama leple aduga madu amuk handokloi: ‘Nahak matam pumbagi oina purohit oigani.’” (aiōn )
22 By so much is Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
Masigi khennaba asinasu Jisubu henna phaba walepnabagi sakhi puba adu oihalle.
23 And the others indeed were made many priests, because by reason of death they were not suffered to continue:
Aduga atoppa khennabasu leiri madudi atei purohit mayam ama leirammi adubu makhoi siba naiba maramna makhoigi thabak makha chatthaba ngamlamde.
24 But this, for that he continueth for ever, hath an everlasting priesthood, (aiōn )
Adubu Jisudi lomba naidana hingba maramna mahakki purohitki thabak adu atoppa kanagumba amada sinnaba toude. (aiōn )
25 Whereby he is able also to save for ever them that come to God by him; always living to make intercession for us.
Maram aduna mahakki mapanna Tengban Mapugi maphamda changjarakpasingbu mahakna matam pumbada kanbiba ngammi, maramdi makhoigidamakta Tengban Mapugi maphamda haijabinaba mahakna matam pumnamakki oina hingli.
26 For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Jisudi eikhoigi changdaba yadaba awatpasingbu pibiba Purohitlenni. Ibungo mahakti asengbani, mangonda aranba nattraga pap amata leite; mahakpu papchenbasingdagi tonganna khaidokle aduga swargagi mathakta thanggatpire.
27 Who needeth not daily (as the other priests) to offer sacrifices first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, in offering himself.
Ibungo mahakti atoppa purohitlensinggumba natte haibadi numit khudinggi mahak masagi papkidamak hanna iratpot katpa adugi matungda misinggi papkidamak iratpot katpa adugumna Ibungodi mathou tade. Mahakna masabu iratpot oina katthokpa matamda, mahakna matam pumbagi oina amuktada katthokpikhre.
28 For the law maketh men priests, who have infirmity: but the word of the oath, which was since the law, the Son who is perfected for evermore. (aiōn )
Moses-ki Wayel Yathangna asonba leiraba misingbu purohitlen oina khalli. Adubu Wayel Yathanggi matungda lakpa Tengban Mapuna wasakpiba amaga yaoba wasakpiba adunadi matam pumbagi oina mapung phahallaba Machanupabu purohitlen oina khanbi. (aiōn )
