Habakkuk 2
1 I will stand upon my watch, and fix my foot upon the tower: and I will watch, to see what will be said to me, and what I may answer to him that reproveth me.
১মোৰ প্ৰহৰীস্থানত মই থিয় হম, আৰু পহৰা দিয়া ওখ স্তম্ভত মই নিজে থাকিম, আৰু মই সাৱধানে পহৰা দিম। আৰু তেওঁ মোক কি ক’ব, আৰু মোৰ অভিযোগৰ পৰা মই কেনেকৈ ঘূৰিব পাৰোঁ, সেই বিষয়ে মই চাম।
2 And the Lord answered me, and said: Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables: that he that readeth it may run over it.
২যিহোৱাই মোক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “এই দৰ্শনৰ কথা লিখি থোৱা, আৰু এনে স্পষ্টকৈ ফলিত লিখা, যাতে যি কোনোৱে খৰকৈ পঢ়িব পাৰে।
3 For as yet the vision is far off, and it shall appear at the end, and shall not lie: if it make any delay, wait for it: for it shall surely come, and it shall not be slack.
৩কাৰণ এই দৰ্শন যদিও ভবিষ্যত সময়ৰ বাবে তথাপিও শেষত এই দৰ্শন প্রকাশ পাব আৰু বিফল নহ’ব। যদিও পলম হয়, তাৰ বাবে অপেক্ষা কৰা; কাৰণ সেয়া নিশ্চয় সিদ্ধ হ’ব, আৰু পলম নহব।
4 Behold, he that is unbelieving, his soul shall not be right in himself: but the just shall live in his faith.
৪চোৱা! মানুহৰ আত্মা অহংকাৰী হয়, আৰু নিজেই নিজৰ বাবে ন্যায়পৰায়ণ নহয়, কিন্তু ধাৰ্মিক লোক নিজৰ বিশ্বাসৰ দ্বাৰাই জীয়াই থাকিব।
5 And as wine deceiveth him that drinketh it: so shall the proud man be, and he shall not be honoured: who hath enlarged his desire like hell: and is himself like death, and he is never satisfied: but will gather together unto him all nations, and heap together unto him all people. (Sheol h7585)
৫কাৰণ সুৰাই গৰ্ব্বী যুৱকক বিশ্বাসঘাতক কৰে; সেয়ে তেওঁ সহ্য নকৰিব, কিন্তু তেওঁৰ বিস্তৃত আকাংক্ষা সমাধি আৰু মৃত্যুৰ দৰে সম্প্রসাৰিত কৰে, যি কেতিয়াও সন্তুষ্ট নহয়। তেওঁ নিজৰ বাবে সকলো দেশ আৰু লোকসকলক গোটাই, (Sheol h7585)
6 Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a dark speech concerning him: and it shall be said: Woe to him that heapeth together that which is not his own? how long also doth he load himself with thick clay?
৬এই লোকসকল তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে দৃষ্টান্ত স্বৰূপ আৰু তেওঁৰ সম্পৰ্কে বিদ্ৰূপজনক বাক্য নক’ব নে? তেওঁলোকে ক’ব, ‘যি নিজৰ নহয়, তেনে সন্তাপ যিজনে বৃদ্ধি কৰে! তেনেদৰে তুমি কিমান দিন প্ৰতিজ্ঞাৰ বোজাৰ ভাৰ বৃদ্ধি কৰিবা?
7 Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee: and they be stirred up that shall tear thee, and thou shalt be a spoil to them?
৭যিজনে তোমাৰ অহিতে দাঁতকৰচে, সেই জনে অকস্মাতে তোমাৰ অহিতে উঠে, আৰু যিজনে তোমাক আতঙ্কিত কৰে, সেই জনে জাগ্রত নহ’ব নে? তুমি তেওঁলোকৰ বাবে প্রতাৰিত লোক হ’বা!
8 Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all that shall be left of the people shall spoil thee: because of men’s blood, and for the iniquity of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
৮তুমি অনেক দেশ লুট কৰাৰ কাৰণে, সকলো অৱশিষ্ট লোকে তোমাক লুট কৰিব; মানুহৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ কাৰণে, দেশ, গাঁও, আৰু তাৰ আটাই নিবাসীসকললৈ কৰা অত্যাচাৰৰ বাবে এয়ে সিদ্ধ হ’ব।
9 Woe to him that gathereth together an evil covetousness to his house, that his nest may be on high, and thinketh he may be delivered out of the hand of evil.
৯যিজনে নিজৰ ঘৰৰ বাবে পাপ অৰ্জন কৰে, সেই জনৰ সন্তাপ হ’ব। দুষ্টৰ হাতৰ পৰা উদ্ধাৰ পাবলৈ, তেওঁ ওখ ঠাইত নিজৰ আশ্রয়স্থান স্থাপন কৰে।’
10 Thou hast devised confusion to thy house, thou hast cut off many people, and thy soul hath sinned.
১০তুমি অনেক লোকক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিবলৈ তোমাৰ ঘৰৰ বাবে লজ্জাজনক চিন্তা কৰিলা, আৰু তোমাৰ নিজৰ আত্মাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাপ কৰিলা।
11 For the stone shall cry out of the wall: and the timber that is between the joints of the building, shall answer.
১১দেৱালৰ মাজৰ পৰা শিলে চিঞৰি কান্দিব, আৰু কাঠৰ মাজৰ পৰা চটিয়ে তাৰ উত্তৰ দিব।
12 Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and prepareth a city by iniquity.
১২ৰক্তপাতেৰে নগৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰা জনৰ আৰু অপৰাধৰ দ্বাৰাই নগৰ স্থাপন কৰা জনৰ সন্তাপ হ’ব।
13 Are not these things from the Lord of hosts? for the people shall labour in a great fire: and the nations in vain, and they shall faint.
১৩এয়ে বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা নহয় নে? লোকসকলে জুইৰ বাবে পৰিশ্ৰম কৰে, আৰু সেই দেশবাসীয়ে অসাৰ বস্তুৰ বাবে চিন্তিত হয়,
14 For the earth shall be filled, that men may know the glory of the Lord, as waters covering the sea.
১৪সমুদ্ৰ যেনেকৈ পানীৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ, সেইদৰে পৃথিৱীখন যিহোৱাৰ জ্ঞানৰ মহিমাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হ’ব।
15 Woe to him that giveth drink to his friend, and presenteth his gall, and maketh him drunk, that he may behold his nakedness.
১৫যিজনে নিজৰ চুবুৰীয়াক সুৰা পান কৰায়, আৰু যেতিয়ালৈকে মতলীয়া নহয়, তুমি বিষ দি তেওঁক সুৰা পান কৰায় থাকা, যাতে তুমি তেওঁৰ বিবস্ত্রতা দেখা পোৱা!’
16 Thou art filled with shame instead of glory: drink thou also, and fall fast asleep: the cup of the right hand of the Lord shall compass thee, and shameful vomiting shall be on thy glory.
১৬তুমি গৌৰৱৰ পৰিৱৰ্তে লাজেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হ’বা; তুমিও পান কৰা, আৰু তোমাৰ নিজৰ বিৱস্ত্রতা প্রকাশ কৰা! যিহোৱাৰ সোঁ হাতত থকা পিয়লা তোমালৈ ঘূৰি আহিব, আৰু অপমানে তোমাৰ সন্মান ছানি ধৰিব।
17 For the iniquity of Libanus shall cover thee, and the ravaging of beasts shall terrify them because of the blood of men, and the iniquity of the land, and of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
১৭লিবানোনত হোৱা অত্যাচাৰে তোমাক ঢাকিব, আৰু পশুবোৰৰ ধ্বংস দেখি তুমি আতঙ্কিত হ’বা; মানুহৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ কাৰণে, আৰু দেশ, নগৰ, আৰু তাত থকা সকলো নিবাসীলৈ কৰা অত্যাচাৰৰ বাবেই এইদৰে ঘটিব।
18 What doth the graven thing avail, because the maker thereof hath graven it, a molten, and a false image? because the forger thereof hath trusted in a thing of his own forging, to make dumb idols.
১৮কটা-প্ৰতিমাই তোমাক কি উপকাৰ কৰে? যে তাৰ বাবে নিৰ্মাণকাৰীয়ে যেতিয়া তাক কাটে বা গলোৱা ধাতুৰ পৰা যেতিয়া প্রতিমা তৈয়াৰ কৰে, তেওঁ এজন মিছা শিক্ষক; যেতিয়া নিৰ্মাণকাৰীয়ে নিষ্প্রাণ মূৰ্ত্তি তৈয়াৰ কৰে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ নিজৰ হাতৰ কৰ্মত বিশ্বাস কৰে।
19 Woe to him that saith to wood: Awake: to the dumb stone: Arise: can it teach? Behold, it is laid over with gold, and silver, and there is no spirit in the bowels thereof.
১৯যি জনে কাঠক সাৰ পোৱা বুলি কয়, বা শিলক উঠা বুলি কয়, তেওঁৰ সন্তাপ হ’ব! সেইবোৰে জানো শিক্ষা দিব? চোৱা, এইবোৰত সোণ আৰু ৰূপ খটোৱা হৈছে, কিন্তু সেইবোৰৰ ভিতৰত কিঞ্চিতো প্রাণবায়ু নাই।
20 But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
২০কিন্তু যিহোৱা নিজৰ পবিত্ৰ মন্দিৰত আছে; সমূদায় পৃথিৱী তেওঁৰ আগত নিজম দি থাকক।
