Ezekiel 34
1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
A palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
2 Son of man, prophesy concerning the shepherds of Israel: prophesy, and say to the shepherds: Thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, that fed themselves: should not the hocks be fed by the shepherds?
“Filho do homem, profetiza contra os pastores de Israel”. Profetiza, e diz-lhes, até mesmo aos pastores: “O Senhor Javé diz: “Ai dos pastores de Israel que se alimentam! Os pastores não deveriam alimentar as ovelhas?
3 You ate the milk, and you clothed yourselves with the wool, and you killed that which was fat: but my flock you did not feed.
Você come a gordura. Você se veste com a lã. Você mata os gordos, mas não alimenta as ovelhas.
4 The weak you have not strengthened, and that which was sick you have not healed, that which was broken you have not bound up, and that which was driven away you have not brought again, neither have you sought that which was lost: but you ruled over them with rigour, and with a high hand.
Você não fortalece os enfermos. Você não curou o que estava doente. Você não amarrou o que estava quebrado. Você não trouxe de volta o que foi expulso. Você não procurou o que estava perdido, mas governou sobre eles com força e com rigor.
5 And my sheep were scattered, because there was no shepherd: and they became the prey of all the beasts of the field, and were scattered.
Eles estavam dispersos, porque não havia pastor. Eles se tornaram alimento para todos os animais do campo, e foram dispersos.
6 My sheep have wandered in every mountain, and in every high hill: and my flocks mere scattered upon the face of the earth, and there was none that sought them, there was none, I say, that sought them.
Minhas ovelhas perambulavam por todas as montanhas e em todas as colinas altas. Sim, minhas ovelhas estavam espalhadas por toda a superfície da terra. Não havia ninguém que procurasse ou procurasse”.
7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
“'Portanto, vocês pastores, ouçam a palavra de Javé:
8 As I live, saith the Lord God, forasmuch as my flocks have been made a spoil, and my sheep are become a prey to all the beasts of the field, because there was no shepherd: for my shepherds did not seek after my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flocks:
“Como eu vivo”, diz o Senhor Javé, “certamente porque minhas ovelhas se tornaram presas, e minhas ovelhas se tornaram alimento para todos os animais do campo, porque não havia pastor, e meus pastores não procuraram minhas ovelhas, mas os pastores se alimentaram, e não alimentaram minhas ovelhas,
9 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
portanto, vocês pastores, ouçam a palavra de Javé”!
10 Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself come upon the shepherds, I will require my hock at their hand, and I will cause them to cease from feeding the flock any more, neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more: and I will deliver my flock from their mouth, and it shall no more be meat for them.
O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu sou contra os pastores”. Vou exigir minhas ovelhas às mãos deles e fazê-los parar de alimentar as ovelhas”. Os pastores não se alimentarão mais. Entregarei minhas ovelhas da boca deles, para que elas não sejam alimento para eles”.
11 For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself will seek my sheep, and will visit them.
“'Pois o Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu mesmo, eu mesmo, procurarei minhas ovelhas, e as buscarei”.
12 As the shepherd visiteth his hock in the day when he shall be in the midst of his sheep that were scattered, so will I visit my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
Como um pastor procura seu rebanho no dia em que está entre suas ovelhas dispersas no exterior, assim procurarei minhas ovelhas”. Vou libertá-las de todos os lugares onde elas foram dispersas no dia nublado e escuro.
13 And I will bring them out from the peoples, and will gather them out of the countries, and will bring them to their own land: and I will feed them in the mountains of Israel, by the rivers, and in all the habitations of the land.
Eu as tirarei dos povos, as recolherei dos países e as trarei para suas próprias terras. Vou alimentá-los nas montanhas de Israel, junto aos cursos de água e em todos os lugares habitados do país.
14 I will feed them in the most fruitful pastures, and their pastures shall be in the high mountains of Israel: there shall they rest on the green grass, and be fed in fat pastures upon the mountains of Israel.
Alimentá-los-ei com bom pasto, e seu rebanho estará nas montanhas da altura de Israel. Lá eles se deitarão em uma boa prega. Eles se alimentarão de pastos ricos nas montanhas de Israel.
15 I will feed my sheep: and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.
Eu mesmo serei o pastor de minhas ovelhas, e as farei deitar”, diz o Senhor Javé.
16 I will seek that which was lost: and that which was driven away, I will bring again: and I will bind up that which was broken, and I will strengthen that which was weak, and that which was fat and strong I will preserve: and I will feed them in judgment.
“Buscarei o que foi perdido, e trarei de volta o que foi expulso, e amarrarei o que foi quebrado, e fortalecerei o que estava doente; mas destruirei o gordo e o forte”. Alimentá-los-ei com justiça”.
17 And as for you, O my flocks, thus saith the Lord God: Behold I judge between cattle and cattle, of rams and of he goats.
“Quanto a você, ó meu rebanho, o Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu julgo entre ovelhas e ovelhas, os carneiros e os cabritos machos.
18 Was it not enough for you to feed upon good pastures? but you must also tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures: and when you drank the dearest water, you troubled the rest with your feet.
Does parece-lhe uma coisa pequena ter se alimentado do bom pasto, mas você deve pisar com seus pés os resíduos de seu pasto...”. E para ter bebido das águas claras, mas você deve sujar os resíduos com seus pés?
19 And my sheep were fed with that which you had trodden with your feet: and they drank what your feet had troubled.
As para minhas ovelhas, elas comem o que você pisou com seus pés, e bebem o que você sujou com seus pés”.
20 Therefore thus saith the Lord God to you: Behold, I myself will judge between the fat cattle and the lean.
“Portanto, o Senhor Javé lhes diz: “Eis que eu, até mesmo eu, julgarei entre a ovelha gorda e a ovelha magra”.
21 Because you thrusted with sides and shoulders, and struck all the weak cattle with your horns, till they were scattered abroad:
Porque você empurra com o lado e com o ombro, e empurra todos os enfermos com seus chifres, até que você os tenha espalhado para o exterior,
22 I will save my dock, and it shall be no more a spoil, and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
portanto eu salvarei meu rebanho, e eles não serão mais uma presa. Julgarei entre ovelhas e carneiros.
23 AND I WILL SET UP ONE SHEPHERD OVER THEM, and he shall feed them, even my servant David: he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
eu criarei um pastor sobre elas, e ele as alimentará, inclusive meu servo David. Ele os alimentará e será o pastor deles.
24 And I the Lord will be their God: and my servant David the prince in the midst of them: I the Lord have spoken it.
Eu, Javé, serei seu Deus, e meu servo Davi príncipe entre eles. Eu, Yahweh, já o disse.
25 And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they that dwell in the wilderness shall sleep secure in the forests.
“'Farei com eles um pacto de paz, e farei com que animais malignos cessem de sair da terra. Eles habitarão em segurança no deserto e dormirão na floresta.
26 And I will make them a blessing round about my hill: and I will send down the rain in its season, there shall be showers of blessing.
farei deles e dos lugares ao redor da minha colina uma bênção. Farei com que o banho desça em sua estação do ano. Haverá chuveiros de bênção.
27 And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be in their land without fear: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have broken the bonds of their yoke, and shall have delivered them out of the hand of those that rule over them.
A árvore do campo dará seus frutos, e a terra produzirá seu aumento, e eles estarão seguros em suas terras. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh, quando eu tiver quebrado as barras de seu jugo, e os terei libertado da mão daqueles que fizeram deles escravos.
28 And they shall be no more for a spoil to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the earth devour them: but they shall dwell securely without any terror.
Eles não serão mais uma presa para as nações, nem os animais da terra os devorarão; mas viverão em segurança, e ninguém os fará ter medo.
29 And I will raise up for them a bud of renown: and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither shall they bear any more the reproach of the Gentiles.
Eu levantarei para eles uma plantação de renome, e eles não serão mais consumidos pela fome na terra, e não suportarão mais a vergonha das nações.
30 And they shall know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they are my people the house of Israel: saith the Lord God.
Eles saberão que eu, Javé, seu Deus estou com eles, e que eles, a casa de Israel, são meu povo, diz o Senhor Javé.
31 And you my flocks, the flocks of my pasture are men: and I am the Lord your God, saith the Lord God.
Vós, minhas ovelhas, as ovelhas do meu pasto, sois homens e eu sou vosso Deus”, diz o Senhor Yahweh”.
