Ezekiel 21
1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:
2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and let thy speech flow towards the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel:
“மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் முகத்தை எருசலேமிற்கு எதிராகத் திருப்பி, பரிசுத்த இடத்திற்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பிரசங்கி. இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டிற்கு விரோதமாய் இறைவாக்கு சொல்லுங்கள்.
3 And say to the land of Israel: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off in thee the just, and the wicked.
நீ அவளுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாய் இருக்கிறேன். நான் என் வாளை உறையிலிருந்து உருவி நேர்மையானவன் கொடியவன் ஆகிய இருவரையுமே உன்னிலிருந்து அகற்றுவேன்.
4 And forasmuch as I have cut off in thee the just, and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh, from the south even to the north.
நீதியானவனையும் கொடியவனையும் நான் அகற்றப்போவதால், தெற்கிலிருந்து வடக்கு வரையுள்ள ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும் விரோதமாய் என் வாள் அதன் உறையிலிருந்து வெளியே உருவப்படும்.
5 That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn my sword out of its sheath not to be turned back.
அப்பொழுது எனது வாளை அதன் உறையிலிருந்து உருவியவர் யெகோவாவாகிய நானே என்பதையும், அது மீண்டும் உறைக்குத் திரும்பமாட்டாது என்பதையும் மக்களெல்லோரும் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.’
6 And thou, son of man, mourn with the breaking of thy loins, and with bitterness sigh before them.
“ஆகையால் மனுபுத்திரனே, துக்கித்து அழு. உடைந்த உள்ளத்தோடும் கசப்பான துயரத்தோடும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழு.
7 And when they shall say to thee: Why mournest thou? thou shalt say: For that which I hear: because it cometh, and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be made feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and water shall run down every knee: behold it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord God.
‘ஏன் அழுகிறாய்?’ என அவர்கள் உன்னைக் கேட்கும்போது, ‘வரப்போகும் செய்திக்காகவே அழுகிறேன். ஒவ்வொரு இருதயமும் உருகும். ஒவ்வொரு கையும் சோர்ந்துபோகும். ஒவ்வொரு ஆவியும் மயங்கும். ஒவ்வொரு முழங்காலும் தண்ணீரைப்போல் ஆகும்.’ அது வருகிறது, நிச்சயமாகவே அது நடக்கும் என ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார் என்று சொல்.”
8 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:
9 Son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Say: The sword, the sword is sharpened, and furbished.
“மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இறைவாக்கு உரைத்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘ஒரு வாள், அது கூர்மையானதும், துலக்கப்பட்டதுமான ஒரு வாள்.
10 It is sharpened to kill victims: it is furbished that it may glitter: thou removest the sceptre of my son, thou hast cut down every tree.
அது படுகொலைக்காக கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்டது. மின்னல் ஒளிவீச துலக்கப்பட்டது. “‘என் மகன் யூதாவின் செங்கோலைக் குறித்து, நாம் மகிழ்வோமோ? அத்தகைய கோல் ஒவ்வொன்றையும் அவ்வாள் அலட்சியம்செய்கிறதே.
11 And I have given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, that it may be in the hand of the slayer.
“‘துலக்கப்படுவதற்கும் கையால் பிடிப்பதற்கும் அந்த வாள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அது கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்டும், துலக்கப்பட்டும் படுகொலைசெய்பவனின் கைக்குத் தயாராக இருக்கிறது.
12 Cry, and howl, O son of man, for this sword is upon my people, it is upon all the princes of Israel, that are fled: they are delivered up to the sword with my people, strike therefore upon thy thigh,
மனுபுத்திரனே, அந்த வாள் என் மக்களுக்கு விரோதமாக இருப்பதனால் அழுது புலம்பு; அது இஸ்ரயேலின் தலைவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் விரோதமாக இருக்கின்றது. அவர்கள் என் மக்களோடுகூட, வாளுக்கு இரையாக்கப்படுவார்கள். ஆதலால், உன் மார்பில் அடித்து அழு.
13 Because it is tried: and that when it shall overthrow the sceptre, and it shall not be, saith the Lord God.
“‘நிச்சயமாகவே சோதனை வரும். வாளால் இகழப்பட்ட யூதாவின் செங்கோல் தொடராவிட்டால், என்ன நடக்கும் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கேட்கிறார்.’
14 Thou therefore, O son of man, prophesy, and strike thy hands together, and let the sword be doubled, and let the sword of the slain be tripled: this is the sword of a great slaughter, that maketh them stand amazed,
“ஆகையால், மனுபுத்திரனே நீ, இறைவாக்குரைத்து, கைகளைத் தட்டு. இரண்டுதரமோ மூன்றுதரமோ வாள் வீசப்படட்டும். அது எல்லாப் பக்கமும் அவர்கள்மேல் வரும் படுகொலையின் வாள், அது பெரும் படுகொலைக்கான வாள்,
15 And languish in heart, and that multiplieth ruins. In all their gates I have set the dread of the sharp sword, the sword that is furbished to glitter, that is made ready for slaughter.
இருதயங்கள் உருகி அநேகர் விழும்படியாக, அவர்கள் வாசல்களிலெல்லாம் படுகொலைக்காக நான் வாளை நிலைப்படுத்தியுள்ளேன். அது துலக்கப்பட்டு மின்னல் கீற்றுப்போல் பாய்வதற்காகத் தீட்டப்பட்டு, படுகொலைக்கு ஆயத்தமாகக் கையில் பிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
16 Be thou sharpened, go to the right hand, or to the left, which way soever thou hast a mind to set thy face.
வாளே! உன் வெட்டும் பகுதி எங்கு திரும்புகிறதோ, அங்கு வலப்புறமாகவும், பின் இடப்புறமாகவும் வீசி வெட்டு.
17 And I will clap my hands together, and will satisfy my indignation: I the Lord have spoken.
நானும் என் கரத்தைத் தட்டுவேன். என் கடுங்கோபம் தணியும். யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைப் பேசினேன்.”
18 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது. அவர் என்னிடம்
19 And thou son of man, set thee two ways, for the sword of the king of Babylon to come: both shall come forth out of one land: and with his hand he shall draw lots, he shall consult at the head of the way of the city.
“மனுபுத்திரனே, வரைபடம் ஒன்றை வரைந்து அதில் பாபிலோன் அரசனுடைய வாள் செல்ல இரண்டு வழிகளைக் குறித்துக்கொள். இரண்டும் ஒரே தேசத்திலிருந்து வரட்டும். பட்டணத்தை நோக்கிப் பாதைகள் பிரியும் இடத்தில் கைகாட்டிக் கம்பம் ஒன்றை நிறுத்து.
20 Thou shalt make a way that the sword may come to Rabbath of the children of Ammon, and to Juda unto Jerusalem the strong city.
அம்மோனியரின் பட்டணமான ரப்பாவுக்கு எதிராக வாள் வரும்படி வழியொன்றைக் குறி. அரண்செய்யப்பட்ட எருசலேமுக்கும், யூதாவுக்கும் விரோதமாக வாள் வரும்படி வேறொரு வழியையும் குறி.
21 For the king of Babylon stood in the highway, at the head of two ways, seeking divination, shuffling arrows: he inquired of the idols, and consulted entrails.
வழி பிரியும் இடத்திலே, இருவழிச்சந்தியில் சகுனம் பார்ப்பதற்காக பாபிலோன் அரசன் நிற்பான். அவன் அம்புகளினால் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, தன் விக்கிரகங்களிடம், விசாரிப்பான். அவன் ஈரலிலே சகுனம் பார்ப்பான்.
22 On his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in slaughter, to lift up the voice in howling, to set engines against the gates, to cast up a mount, to build forts.
எருசலேமுக்குரிய சீட்டு அவனுடைய வலதுகையில் வரும். அப்பொழுது அவன் இடிக்கும் இயந்திரங்களை நிலைப்படுத்தி, கொலை செய்யும்படி கட்டளை கொடுத்து, போர் முழக்கம் எழுப்பி, கருவிகளை வாசலுக்கெதிரே வைத்து, கொத்தளங்களைக் கட்டி முற்றுகைக்குரிய வேலைகளைச் செய்வான்.
23 And he shall be in their eyes as one consulting the oracle in vain, and imitating the leisure of sabbaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity that they may be taken.
உடன்படிக்கையில் உண்மையாய் இருப்போம் என அவனுக்கு ஆணையிட்டவர்களுக்கு அது போலியான சகுனமாய்க் காணப்படும். ஆனால் அவர்களுடைய குற்றத்தை அவன் அவர்களுக்கு நினைவுப்படுத்தி, அவர்களைக் கைதிகளாக்கிக் கொண்டுபோவான்.
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Because you have remembered your iniquity, and have discovered your prevarications, and your sins have appeared in all your devices: because, I say, you have remembered, you shall be taken with the hand.
“ஆகையால், ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. ‘நீங்கள் செய்த அனைத்திலும், உங்கள் பாவங்களை வெளிப்படுத்தினீர்கள். வெளிப்படையாய் கலகம்செய்து, உங்கள் குற்றங்களை நினைவுபடுத்தினீர்கள். இதைச் செய்தபடியினால், நீங்கள் கைதிகளாகக் கொண்டுபோகப்படுவீர்கள்.
25 But thou profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come that hath been appointed in the time of iniquity:
“‘இஸ்ரயேலின் சீர்கெட்ட கொடிய இளவரசனே, உன் நாள் வந்துவிட்டது. உன் தண்டனையின் வேளை உச்சக்கட்டத்தை அடைந்துவிட்டது.
26 Thus saith the Lord God: Remove the diadem, take off the crown: is it not this that hath exalted the low one, and brought down him that was high?
ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே, உன் தலைப்பாகையை எடுத்துவிடு. உன் மகுடத்தை அகற்றிவிடு. அது முன்னர் இருந்ததுபோல் இனி இருக்கமாட்டாது. தாழ்ந்தவன் உயர்த்தப்படுவான், உயர்ந்தவன் தாழ்த்தப்படுவான்.
27 I will shew it to be iniquity, iniquity, iniquity: but this was not done till he came to whom judgment belongeth, and I will give it him.
அழிவோ அழிவு! அதைப் பாழாக்குவேன். அதற்கு உரிமையானவர் வருமட்டும் அது திரும்பவும் நிலைநாட்டப்படுவதில்லை. அவருக்கே நான் அதைக் கொடுப்பேன்.’
28 And thou son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord God concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach, and thou shalt say: sword, O sword, come out of the scabbard to kill, be furbished to destroy, and to glitter,
“மனுபுத்திரனே, இறைவாக்கு உரைத்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘அம்மோனியரையும் அவர்களுடைய நிந்தைகளையும் குறித்து ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘ஒரு வாள், ஒரு வாள், வெட்டுவதற்காக உருவப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அழிப்பதற்காக மின்னல் கீற்றுப்போல் பாயும்படி அது துலக்கப்பட்டது.
29 Whilst they see vain things in thy regard, and they divine lies: to bring thee upon the necks of the wicked that are wounded, whose appointed day is come in the time of iniquity.
உன்னைக்குறித்துப் பொய்யான தரிசனங்களும், பொய்யான குறிகளும் கூறப்பட்டபோதிலும், கொலைசெய்யப்பட வேண்டிய கொடியவர்களின் கழுத்திலே அந்த வாள் வைக்கப்படும். அவர்களின் நாள் வந்துவிட்டது! அவர்கள் தண்டனையின் வேளை உச்சக்கட்டத்தை அடைந்துவிட்டது.
30 Return into thy sheath. I will judge thee in the place wherein thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.
“‘வாளைத் திரும்பவும் அதன் உறையில் போடு. நீ உருவாக்கப்பட்ட இடத்தில், உன் மூதாதையரின் நாட்டில் நான் உன்னை நியாயம் விசாரிப்பேன்.
31 And I will pour out upon thee my indignation: in the fire of my rage will I blow upon thee, and will give thee into the hands of men that are brutish and contrive thy destruction.
நான் எனது கோபத்தை உன்மேல் ஊற்றுவேன். உனக்கு விரோதமாய் என் சுட்டெரிக்கும் கோபத்தை ஊதுவேன். முரட்டு மனிதரிடமும் அழிப்பதில் வல்லவரான மனிதரிடமும் நான் உன்னைக் கையளிப்பேன்.
32 Thou shalt be fuel for the fire, thy blood shall be in the midst of the land, thou shalt be forgotten: for I the Lord have spoken it.
நீ நெருப்புக்கு விறகாவாய். உனது நாட்டிலே உன் இரத்தம் சிந்தப்படும். இனிமேல் நீ நினைக்கப்படமாட்டாய். ஏனெனில் யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன் என்றார்.’”
