Exodus 35

1 And all the multitude of the children of Israel being gathered together, he said to them: These are the things which the Lord hath commanded to be done.

١ وَجَمَعَ مُوسَى كُلَّ جَمَاعَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْكَلِمَاتُ ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ تُصْنَعَ:

2 Six days you shall do work: the seventh day shall be holy unto you, the sabbath, and the rest of the Lord: he that shall do any work on it, shall be put to death.

٢ سِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ يُعْمَلُ عَمَلٌ، وَأَمَّا ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلْسَّابِعُ فَفِيهِ يَكُونُ لَكُمْ سَبْتُ عُطْلَةٍ مُقَدَّسٌ لِلرَّبِّ. كُلُّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ فِيهِ عَمَلًا يُقْتَلُ.

3 You shall kindle no fire in any of your habitations on the sabbath day.

٣ لَا تُشْعِلُوا نَارًا فِي جَمِيعِ مَسَاكِنِكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلسَّبْتِ».

4 And Moses said to all the assembly of the children of Israel: This is the word the Lord hath commanded, saying:

٤ وَكَلَّمَ مُوسَى كُلَّ جَمَاعَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلًا: «هَذَا هُوَ ٱلشَّيْءُ ٱلَّذِي أَمَرَ بِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ قَائِلًا:

5 Set aside with you firstfruits to the Lord. Let every one that is willing and hath a ready heart, offer them to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,

٥ خُذُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكُمْ تَقْدِمَةً لِلرَّبِّ. كُلُّ مَنْ قَلْبُهُ سَمُوحٌ فَلْيَأْتِ بِتَقْدِمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ: ذَهَبًا وَفِضَّةً وَنُحَاسًا،

6 Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, goats’ hair,

٦ وَأَسْمَانْجُونِيًّا وَأُرْجُوَانًا وَقِرْمِزًا وَبُوصًا وَشَعْرَ مِعْزًى،

7 And rams’ skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins, setim wood,

٧ وَجُلُودَ كِبَاشٍ مُحَمَّرَةً وَجُلُودَ تُخَسٍ وَخَشَبَ سَنْطٍ،

8 And oil to maintain lights, and to make ointment, and most sweet incense.

٨ وَزَيْتًا لِلضَّوْءِ وَأَطْيَابًا لِدُهْنِ ٱلْمَسْحَةِ وَلِلْبَخُورِ ٱلْعَطِرِ،

9 Onyx stones, and precious stones, for the adorning of the ephod and the rational.

٩ وَحِجَارَةَ جَزْعٍ وَحِجَارَةَ تَرْصِيعٍ لِلرِّدَاءِ وَٱلصُّدْرَةِ.

10 Whosoever of you is wise, let him come, and make that which the Lord hath commanded:

١٠ وَكُلُّ حَكِيمِ ٱلْقَلْبِ بَيْنَكُمْ فَلْيَأْتِ وَيَصْنَعْ كُلَّ مَا أَمَرَ بِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ:

11 To wit, the tabernacle and the roof thereof, and the cover, the rings, and the board work with the oars, the pillars, and the sockets:

١١ ٱلْمَسْكَنَ وَخَيْمَتَهُ وَغِطَاءَهُ وَأَشِظَّتَهُ وَأَلْوَاحَهُ وَعَوَارِضَهُ وَأَعْمِدَتَهُ وَقَوَاعِدَهُ،

12 The ark and the staves, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it:

١٢ وَٱلتَّابُوتَ وَعَصَوَيْهِ، وَٱلْغِطَاءَ وَحِجَابَ ٱلسَّجْفِ،

13 The table with the bars and the vessels, and the loaves of proposition:

١٣ وَٱلْمَائِدَةَ وَعَصَوَيْهَا وَكُلَّ آنِيَتِهَا، وَخُبْزَ ٱلْوُجُوهِ،

14 The candlestick to bear up the lights, the vessels thereof and the lamps, and the oil for the nourishing of fires:

١٤ وَمَنَارَةَ ٱلضَّوْءِ وَآنِيَتَهَا وَسُرُجَهَا وَزَيْتَ ٱلضَّوْءِ،

15 The altar of incense, and the bars, and the oil of unction and the incense of spices: the hanging at the door of the tabernacle:

١٥ وَمَذْبَحَ ٱلْبَخُورِ وَعَصَوَيْهِ، وَدُهْنَ ٱلْمَسْحَةِ وَٱلْبَخُورَ ٱلْعَطِرَ، وَسَجْفَ ٱلْبَابِ لِمَدْخَلِ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ،

16 The altar of holocaust, and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels thereof: the laver and its foot:

١٦ وَمَذْبَحَ ٱلْمُحْرَقَةِ وَشُبَّاكَةَ ٱلنُّحَاسِ ٱلَّتِي لَهُ وَعَصَوَيْهِ وَكُلَّ آنِيَتِهِ، وَٱلْمِرْحَضَةَ وَقَاعِدَتَهَا،

17 The curtains of the court with the pillars and the sockets, the hanging in the doors of the entry,

١٧ وَأَسْتَارَ ٱلدَّارِ وَأَعْمِدَتَهَا وَقَوَاعِدَهَا، وَسَجْفَ بَابِ ٱلدَّارِ،

18 The pins of the tabernacle and of the court with their little cords:

١٨ وَأَوْتَادَ ٱلْمَسْكَنِ، وَأَوْتَادَ ٱلدَّارِ وَأَطْنَابَهَا،

19 The vestments that are to be used in the ministry of the sanctuary, the vesture of Aaron the high priest, and of his sons, to do the office of priesthood to me.

١٩ وَٱلثِّيَابَ ٱلْمَنْسُوجَةَ لِلْخِدْمَةِ فِي ٱلْمَقْدِسِ، وَٱلثِّيَابَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ لِهَارُونَ ٱلْكَاهِنِ، وَثِيَابَ بَنِيهِ لِلْكَهَانَةِ».

20 And all the multitude of the children of Israel going out from the presence of Moses,

٢٠ فَخَرَجَ كُلُّ جَمَاعَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ قُدَّامِ مُوسَى،

21 Offered firstfruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to make the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatsoever was necessary to the service, and to the holy vestments,

٢١ ثُمَّ جَاءَ كُلُّ مَنْ أَنْهَضَهُ قَلْبُهُ، وَكُلُّ مَنْ سَمَّحَتْهُ رُوحُهُ. جَاءُوا بِتَقْدِمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ لِعَمَلِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ وَلِكُلِّ خِدْمَتِهَا وَلِلثِّيَابِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةِ.

22 Both men and women gave bracelets and earrings, rings and tablets: every vessel of gold was set aside to be offered to the Lord.

٢٢ وَجَاءَ ٱلرِّجَالُ مَعَ ٱلنِّسَاءِ، كُلُّ سَمُوحِ ٱلْقَلْبِ، جَاءَ بِخَزَائِمَ وَأَقْرَاطٍ وَخَوَاتِمَ وَقَلَائِدَ، كُلِّ مَتَاعٍ مِنَ ٱلذَّهَبِ. وَكُلُّ مَنْ قَدَّمَ تَقْدِمَةَ ذَهَبٍ لِلرَّبِّ.

23 If any man had violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, fine linen and goats’ hair, rams’ skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins,

٢٣ وَكُلُّ مَنْ وُجِدَ عِنْدَهُ أَسْمَانْجُونِيٌّ وَأُرْجُوانٌ وَقِرْمِزٌ وَبُوصٌ وَشَعْرُ مِعْزًى وَجُلُودُ كِبَاشٍ مُحَمَّرَةٌ وَجُلُودُ تُخَسٍ، جَاءَ بِهَا.

24 Metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, and setim wood for divers uses.

٢٤ كُلُّ مَنْ قَدَّمَ تَقْدِمَةَ فِضَّةٍ وَنُحَاسٍ جَاءَ بِتَقْدِمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ. وَكُلُّ مَنْ وُجِدَ عِنْدَهُ خَشَبُ سَنْطٍ لِصَنْعَةٍ مَا مِنَ ٱلْعَمَلِ جَاءَ بِهِ.

25 The skillful women also gave such things as they had spun, violet, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen,

٢٥ وَكُلُّ ٱلنِّسَاءِ ٱلْحَكِيمَاتِ ٱلْقَلْبِ غَزَلْنَ بِأَيْدِيهِنَّ وَجِئْنَ مِنَ ٱلْغَزْلِ بِٱلْأَسْمَانْجُونِيِّ وَٱلْأُرْجُوَانِ وَٱلْقِرْمِزِ وَٱلْبُوصِ.

26 And goats’ hair, giving all of their own accord.

٢٦ وَكُلُّ ٱلنِّسَاءِ ٱللَّوَاتِي أَنْهَضَتْهُنَّ قُلُوبُهُنَّ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ غَزَلْنَ شَعْرَ ٱلْمِعْزَى.

27 But the princes offered onyx stone, and precious stones, for the ephod and the rational,

٢٧ وَٱلرُّؤَسَاءُ جَاءُوا بِحِجَارَةِ ٱلْجَزْعِ وَحِجَارَةِ ٱلتَّرْصِيعِ لِلرِّدَاءِ وَٱلصُّدْرَةِ،

28 And spices and oil for the lights, and for the preparing of ointment, and to make the incense of most sweet savour.

٢٨ وَبِٱلطِّيبِ وَٱلزَّيْتِ لِلضَّوْءِ وَلِدُهْنِ ٱلْمَسْحَةِ وَلِلْبَخُورِ ٱلْعَطِرِ.

29 All both men and women with devout mind offered gifts, that the works might be done which the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses. All the children of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.

٢٩ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ، جَمِيعُ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَاءِ ٱلَّذِينَ سَمَّحَتْهُمْ قُلُوبُهُمْ أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِشَيْءٍ لِكُلِّ ٱلْعَمَلِ ٱلَّذِي أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ يُصْنَعَ عَلَى يَدِ مُوسَى، جَاءُوا بِهِ تَبَرُّعًا إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ.

30 And Moses said to the children of Israel: Behold the Lord hath called by name Beseleel the son of Uri the son of Hur of the tribe of Juda.

٣٠ وَقَالَ مُوسَى لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: «ٱنْظُرُوا. قَدْ دَعَا ٱلرَّبُّ بَصَلْئِيلَ بْنَ أُورِي بْنَ حُورَ مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا بِٱسْمِهِ،

31 And hath filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding and knowledge and all learning.

٣١ وَمَلَأَهُ مِنْ رُوحِ ٱللهِ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْفَهْمِ وَٱلْمَعْرِفَةِ وَكُلِّ صَنْعَةٍ،

32 To devise and to work in gold and silver and brass,

٣٢ وَلِٱخْتِرَاعِ مُخْتَرَعَاتٍ، لِيَعْمَلَ فِي ٱلذَّهَبِ وَٱلْفِضَّةِ وَٱلنُّحَاسِ،

33 And in engraving stones, and in carpenters’ work. Whatsoever can be devised artificially,

٣٣ وَنَقْشِ حِجَارَةٍ لِلتَّرْصِيعِ، وَنِجَارَةِ ٱلْخَشَبِ، لِيَعْمَلَ فِي كُلِّ صَنْعَةٍ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْتَرَعَاتِ.

34 He hath given in his heart: Ooliab also the son of Achisamech of the tribe of Dan:

٣٤ وَجَعَلَ فِي قَلْبِهِ أَنْ يُعَلِّمَ هُوَ وَأُهُولِيآبُ بْنَ أَخِيسَامَاكَ مِنْ سِبْطِ دَانَ.

35 Both of them hath he instructed with wisdom, to do carpenters’ work and tapestry, and embroidery in blue and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and to weave all things, and to invent all new things.

٣٥ قَدْ مَلَأَهُمَا حِكْمَةَ قَلْبٍ لِيَصْنَعَا كُلَّ عَمَلِ ٱلنَّقَّاشِ وَٱلْحَائِكِ ٱلْحَاذِقِ وَٱلطَّرَّازِ فِي ٱلْأَسْمَانْجُونِيِّ وَٱلْأُرْجُوَانِ وَٱلْقِرْمِزِ وَٱلْبُوصِ وَكُلَّ عَمَلِ ٱلنَّسَّاجِ. صَانِعِي كُلِّ صَنْعَةٍ وَمُخْتَرِعِي ٱلْمُخْتَرَعَاتِ.
