2 Behold, I have called by name Beseleel the son of Uri the son of Hur of the tribe of Juda,
“I have chosen by name Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding, and knowledge in all manner of work.
I have filled him with the Spirit of God giving him ability, creativity, and expertise in all kinds of craftsmanship.

He can produce designs in gold, silver, and bronze,
5 Of marble, and precious stones, and variety of wood.

6 And I have given him for his companion Ooliab the son of Achisamech of the tribe of Dan. And I have put wisdom in the heart of every skillful man, that they may make all things which I have commanded thee,
I have also chosen Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, to help him. I have also given all the craftsmen the skills needed to make everything that I have ordered you to make:
7 The tabernacle of the covenant, and the ark of the testimony, and the propitiatory that is over it, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,
the Tent of Meeting, the Ark of the Testimony and its atonement cover, and all the other furniture in the Tent:
8 And the table and the vessels thereof, the most pure candlestick with the vessels thereof, and the altars of incense,
the table with its equipment, the pure gold lampstand with all its equipment, the altar of incense,
9 And of holocaust, and all their vessels, the laver with its foot,
the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin plus its stand;
10 The holy vestments in the ministry for Aaron the priest, and for his sons, that they may execute their office about the sacred things:
as well as the woven clothes for both Aaron the priest and for his sons to serve as priests,
11 The oil of unction, and the incense of spices in the sanctuary, all things which I have commanded thee, shall they make.
as well as anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them following all the instructions I have given you.”
12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
The Lord told Moses,
13 Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: See that thou keep my sabbath: because it is a sign between me and you in your generations: that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctify you.
“Tell the Israelites, ‘It's absolutely essential that you keep my Sabbaths. The Sabbath will be a sign between me and you for generations to come, so that you'll know that I am the Lord who makes you holy.
14 Keep you my sabbath: for it is holy unto you: he that shall profane it, shall be put to death: he that shall do my work in it, his soul shall perish out of the midst of his people.
You shall keep the Sabbath because it is holy to you. Anyone who dishonors it must be killed. Anyone who works on that day must be cut off from their people.
15 Six days shall you do work: in the seventh day is the sabbath, the rest holy to the Lord. Every one that shall do any work on this day, shall die.
Six days you can work, but the seventh day is to be a Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Anyone who does any work on the Sabbath day must be killed.
16 Let the children of Israel keep the sabbath, and celebrate it in their generations. It is an everlasting covenant
The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath as an everlasting agreement for generations to come.
17 Between me and the children of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.
It's a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for the Lord made the heavens and the earth in six days, but on the seventh day he stopped and he rested.’”
18 And the Lord, when he had ended these words in mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tables of testimony, written with the finger of God.
When the Lord finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, stone tablets written on by the finger of God.
