Ephesians 6
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just.
Hijos, obedecéd a vuestros padres en el Señor; que esto es justo.
2 Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise:
Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, (que es el primer mandamiento con promesa, )
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest be long lived upon earth.
Para que te vaya bien, y seas de larga vida sobre la tierra.
4 And you, fathers, provoke not your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and correction of the Lord.
Y vosotros, padres, no provoquéis a ira a vuestros hijos; sino criádlos en la disciplina y amonestación del Señor.
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ:
Siervos, obedecéd a los que son vuestros señores según la carne con temor y temblor, en la integridad de vuestro corazón, como a Cristo:
6 Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men, but, as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart,
No sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan a los hombres; sino como siervos de Cristo, haciendo de ánimo la voluntad de Dios:
7 With a good will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men.
Sirviendo con buena voluntad, como quien sirve al Señor, y no solo a los hombres:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond, or free.
Sabiendo que el bien que cada uno hiciere, eso mismo recibirá del Señor, ya sea siervo, o ya sea libre.
9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings, knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him.
Y vosotros, señores, hacédles a ellos lo mismo, dejando las amenazas: sabiendo que el Señor de ellos y el vuestro está en los cielos; y no hay respeto de personas para con él.
10 Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power.
En fin, hermanos míos, sed fuertes en el Señor, y en el poder de su fortaleza.
11 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.
Vestíos de toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis estar firmes contra las asechanzas del diablo.
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. (aiōn g165)
Porque no solamente tenemos lucha con sangre y carne; sino con principados, con potestades, con los gobernadores de las tinieblas de este siglo, con malicias espirituales en lugares altos. (aiōn g165)
13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect.
Por tanto tomád toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis resistir en el día malo, y superado todo, estar en pie.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice,
Estád pues firmes, ceñidos los lomos de verdad; y vestidos de coraza de justicia;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:
Y calzados los pies con la preparación del evangelio de paz:
16 In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
Sobre todo, tomando el escudo de la fe, con el cual podréis apagar todos los dardos encendidos del maligno.
17 And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).
Y el yelmo de salud tomád, y la espada del Espíritu, que es la palabra de Dios:
18 By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints:
Orando en todo tiempo con toda oración y ruego en el Espíritu, y velando para ello con toda instancia y suplicación por todos los santos;
19 And for me, that speech may be given me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel.
Y por mí, que me sea dada palabra con abrimiento de mi boca con confianza, para hacer notorio el misterio del evangelio:
20 For which I am an ambassador in a chain, so that therein I may be bold to speak according as I ought.
Por el cual soy embajador en cadenas: para que en ellas hable osadamente, como debo hablar.
21 But that you also may know the things that concern me, and what I am doing, Tychicus, my dearest brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make known to you all things:
Mas porque también vosotros sepáis mis negocios, y lo que yo hago, todo os lo hará saber Tíquico, hermano amado, y fiel ministro en el Señor:
22 Whom I have sent to you for this same purpose, that you may know the things concerning us, and that he may comfort your hearts.
El cual os he enviado para esto mismo, para que entendáis lo que pasa entre nosotros, y para que consuele vuestros corazones.
23 Peace be to the brethren and charity with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paz sea a los hermanos, y amor con fe de Dios Padre, y d el Señor Jesu Cristo.
24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption. Amen.
Gracia sea con todos los que aman a nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo en incorrupción. Amén. Escrita de Roma a los Efesios por Tíquico.
