Ephesians 6
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just.
૧બાળકો, પ્રભુમાં તમારાં માતાપિતાની આજ્ઞાઓ માનો, કેમ કે એ ઉચિત છે.
2 Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise:
૨તારા માતાપિતાનું સન્માન કર. તે પહેલી વચન યુક્ત આજ્ઞા છે,
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest be long lived upon earth.
૩‘એ સારુ કે તારું ભલું થાય, અને પૃથ્વી પર તારું આયુષ્ય દીર્ઘ થાય.’”
4 And you, fathers, provoke not your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and correction of the Lord.
૪વળી પિતાઓ, તમારાં બાળકોને ખીજવશો નહિ, પણ પ્રભુના શિક્ષણમાં તથા બોધમાં તેઓને ઉછેરો.
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ:
૫દાસો સેવકો, જેમ તમે ખ્રિસ્તને આધીન થાઓ છો તેમ પૃથ્વી પરના જેઓ તમારા માલિકો છે તેઓને આદર સાથે નિખાલસ મનથી આધીન થાઓ;
6 Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men, but, as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart,
૬માણસોને પ્રસન્ન કરનારાઓની જેમ દેખરેખ હોય ત્યાં સુધી જ મન વગરનું કામ કરનારની રીતે નહિ, પણ ખ્રિસ્તનાં સેવકોની જેમ, જીવથી ઈશ્વરની ઇચ્છા પૂરી કરો,
7 With a good will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men.
૭માણસોની નહિ, પણ જાણે તે પ્રભુની સેવા હોય તેમ સંતોષથી કરો;
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond, or free.
૮જે કોઈ કંઈ સારું કરશે, તે દાસ હોય કે સ્વતંત્ર હોય, પણ પ્રભુ તેને તે જ પ્રમાણે બદલો આપશે, એમ સમજો.
9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings, knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him.
૯વળી માલિકો, તમે દાસોની સાથે એમ જ વર્તો, ધમકાવવાનું છોડી દો, અને જાણો કે તેઓનો તથા તમારો પણ એક જ માલિક સ્વર્ગમાં છે, અને તેમની પાસે પક્ષપાત નથી.
10 Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power.
૧૦અંતે, મારા પ્રિય ભાઈઓ, પ્રભુમાં તથા તેમના સામર્થ્યમાં શક્તિવાન થાઓ.
11 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.
૧૧શેતાનની કુયુક્તિઓની સામે તમે અડગ રહી શકો માટે ઈશ્વરનાં સર્વ હથિયારો સજી લો.
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. (aiōn g165)
૧૨કેમ કે આપણું યુદ્ધ, લોહી અને માંસ, અધિપતિઓની સામે, અધિકારીઓની સામે, જગતમાંનાં આ અંધકારનાં સત્તાધારીઓની સામે, સ્વર્ગીય સ્થાનોમાં દુષ્ટતાનાં આત્મિક લશ્કરો ની સામે છે. (aiōn g165)
13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect.
૧૩એ માટે તમે ઈશ્વરનાં સર્વ શસ્ત્રો ધારણ કરો કે, તમે ખરાબ દિવસે સામનો કરી શકો અને બને તેટલું સર્વ કરીને તેની સામે ટકી શકો.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice,
૧૪તેથી સત્યથી તમારી કમર બાંધીને, ન્યાયીપણાનું બખતર ધારણ કરીને
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:
૧૫તથા શાંતિની સુવાર્તાની તૈયારીરૂપી પગરખાં પહેરીને, ઊભા રહો.
16 In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
૧૬સર્વ ઉપરાંત વિશ્વાસની ઢાલ ધારણ કરો, જેથી તમે દુષ્ટના સળગી રહેલા બાણ બુઝાવી શકો.
17 And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).
૧૭અને ઉદ્ધારનો ટોપ તથા આત્માની તલવાર, જે ઈશ્વરનું વચન છે, તે લો.
18 By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints:
૧૮પવિત્ર આત્મામાં સર્વ પ્રકારે સતત પ્રાર્થના તથા વિનંતી કરો, અને તેને અર્થે સર્વ સંતોને માટે સંપૂર્ણ આગ્રહથી વિનંતી કરીને જાગૃત રહો.
19 And for me, that speech may be given me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel.
૧૯અને મારે માટે પણ પ્રાર્થના કરો કે, જે સુવાર્તાને સારુ હું સાંકળોથી બંધાયેલો એલચી છું, તેનો મર્મ જણાવવાંને મને મારું મુખ ઉઘાડીને બોલવાની હિંમત આપવામાં આવે;
20 For which I am an ambassador in a chain, so that therein I may be bold to speak according as I ought.
૨૦અને જેમ બોલવું ઘટિત છે, તેમ હિંમત પૂર્વક હું બોલી શકું.
21 But that you also may know the things that concern me, and what I am doing, Tychicus, my dearest brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make known to you all things:
૨૧વળી મારી બાબતના સમાચાર અને મારી સ્થિતિ કેવી છે તે તમે પણ જાણો માટે તુખિકસ જે પ્રભુમાં મારો પ્રિય ભાઈ તથા પ્રભુમાં વિશ્વાસુ સેવક છે તે તમને સર્વ માહિતી આપશે.
22 Whom I have sent to you for this same purpose, that you may know the things concerning us, and that he may comfort your hearts.
૨૨તમે અમારી પરિસ્થિતિ જાણો અને તે તમારાં હૃદયોને દિલાસો આપે, તેટલાં જ માટે મેં તેને તમારી પાસે મોકલ્યો છે.
23 Peace be to the brethren and charity with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
૨૩ઈશ્વરપિતા તથા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત ભાઈઓને શાંતિ તથા વિશ્વાસસહિતનો પ્રેમ બક્ષો.
24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption. Amen.
૨૪જેઓ આપણા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત પર નિષ્કપટ પ્રેમ રાખે છે તેઓ સર્વ પર કૃપા હો. આમીન.
