Ephesians 2
1 And you, when you were dead in your offences, and sins,
புரா யூயம் அபராதை⁴: பாபைஸ்²ச ம்ரு’தா: ஸந்தஸ்தாந்யாசரந்த இஹலோகஸ்ய ஸம்’ஸாராநுஸாரேணாகாஸ²ராஜ்யஸ்யாதி⁴பதிம் (aiōn g165)
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief: (aiōn g165)
அர்த²த: ஸாம்ப்ரதம் ஆஜ்ஞாலங்கி⁴வம்’ஸே²ஷு கர்ம்மகாரிணம் ஆத்மாநம் அந்வவ்ரஜத|
3 In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:
தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே ஸர்வ்வே வயமபி பூர்வ்வம்’ ஸ²ரீரஸ்ய மநஸ்காமநாயாஞ்சேஹாம்’ ஸாத⁴யந்த: ஸ்வஸ²ரீரஸ்யாபி⁴லாஷாந் ஆசராம ஸர்வ்வே(அ)ந்ய இவ ச ஸ்வபா⁴வத: க்ரோத⁴ப⁴ஜநாந்யப⁴வாம|
4 But God, (who is rich in mercy, ) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,
கிந்து கருணாநிதி⁴ரீஸ்²வரோ யேந மஹாப்ரேம்நாஸ்மாந் த³யிதவாந்
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, (by whose grace you are saved, )
தஸ்ய ஸ்வப்ரேம்நோ பா³ஹுல்யாத்³ அபராதை⁴ ர்ம்ரு’தாநப்யஸ்மாந் க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸஹ ஜீவிதவாந் யதோ(அ)நுக்³ரஹாத்³ யூயம்’ பரித்ராணம்’ ப்ராப்தா: |
6 And hath raised us up together, and hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus.
ஸ ச க்²ரீஷ்டேந யீஸு²நாஸ்மாந் தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் உத்தா²பிதவாந் ஸ்வர்க³ உபவேஸி²தவாம்’ஸ்²ச|
7 That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
இத்த²ம்’ ஸ க்²ரீஷ்டேந யீஸு²நாஸ்மாந் ப்ரதி ஸ்வஹிதைஷிதயா பா⁴வியுகே³ஷு ஸ்வகீயாநுக்³ரஹஸ்யாநுபமம்’ நிதி⁴ம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யிதும் இச்ச²தி| (aiōn g165)
8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God;
யூயம் அநுக்³ரஹாத்³ விஸ்²வாஸேந பரித்ராணம்’ ப்ராப்தா: , தச்ச யுஷ்மந்மூலகம்’ நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்யைவ தா³நம்’,
9 Not of works, that no man may glory.
தத் கர்ம்மணாம்’ ப²லம் அபி நஹி, அத: கேநாபி ந ஸ்²லாகி⁴தவ்யம்’|
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.
யதோ வயம்’ தஸ்ய கார்ய்யம்’ ப்ராக்³ ஈஸ்²வரேண நிரூபிதாபி⁴: ஸத்க்ரியாபி⁴: காலயாபநாய க்²ரீஷ்டே யீஸௌ² தேந ம்ரு’ஷ்டாஸ்²ச|
11 For which cause be mindful that you, being heretofore Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in the flesh, made by hands;
புரா ஜந்மநா பி⁴ந்நஜாதீயா ஹஸ்தக்ரு’தம்’ த்வக்சே²த³ம்’ ப்ராப்தை ர்லோகைஸ்²சாச்சி²ந்நத்வச இதிநாம்நா க்²யாதா யே யூயம்’ தை ர்யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரித³ம்’ ஸ்மர்த்தவ்யம்’
12 That you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the conversation of Israel, and strangers to the testament, having no hope of the promise, and without God in this world.
யத் தஸ்மிந் ஸமயே யூயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டாத்³ பி⁴ந்நா இஸ்ராயேலலோகாநாம்’ ஸஹவாஸாத்³ தூ³ரஸ்தா²: ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாஸம்ப³லிதநியமாநாம்’ ப³ஹி: ஸ்தி²தா: ஸந்தோ நிராஸா² நிரீஸ்²வராஸ்²ச ஜக³த்யாத்⁴வம் இதி|
13 But now in Christ Jesus, you, who some time were afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
கிந்த்வது⁴நா க்²ரீஷ்டே யீஸா²வாஸ்²ரயம்’ ப்ராப்ய புரா தூ³ரவர்த்திநோ யூயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸோ²ணிதேந நிகடவர்த்திநோ(அ)ப⁴வத|
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, the enmities in his flesh:
யத: ஸ ஏவாஸ்மாகம்’ ஸந்தி⁴: ஸ த்³வயம் ஏகீக்ரு’தவாந் ஸ²த்ருதாரூபிணீம்’ மத்⁴யவர்த்திநீம்’ ப்ரபே⁴த³கபி⁴த்திம்’ ப⁴க்³நவாந் த³ண்டா³ஜ்ஞாயுக்தம்’ விதி⁴ஸா²ஸ்த்ரம்’ ஸ்வஸ²ரீரேண லுப்தவாம்’ஸ்²ச|
15 Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees; that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace;
யத: ஸ ஸந்தி⁴ம்’ விதா⁴ய தௌ த்³வௌ ஸ்வஸ்மிந் ஏகம்’ நுதநம்’ மாநவம்’ கர்த்தும்’
16 And might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, killing the enmities in himself.
ஸ்வகீயக்ருஸே² ஸ²த்ருதாம்’ நிஹத்ய தேநைவைகஸ்மிந் ஸ²ரீரே தயோ ர்த்³வயோரீஸ்²வரேண ஸந்தி⁴ம்’ காரயிதும்’ நிஸ்²சதவாந்|
17 And coming, he preached peace to you that were afar off, and peace to them that were nigh.
ஸ சாக³த்ய தூ³ரவர்த்திநோ யுஷ்மாந் நிகடவர்த்திநோ (அ)ஸ்மாம்’ஸ்²ச ஸந்தே⁴ ர்மங்க³லவார்த்தாம்’ ஜ்ஞாபிதவாந்|
18 For by him we have access both in one Spirit to the Father.
யதஸ்தஸ்மாத்³ உப⁴யபக்ஷீயா வயம் ஏகேநாத்மநா பிது: ஸமீபம்’ க³மநாய ஸாமர்த்²யம்’ ப்ராப்தவந்த: |
19 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and the domestics of God,
அத இதா³நீம்’ யூயம் அஸம்பர்கீயா விதே³ஸி²நஸ்²ச ந திஷ்ட²நத: பவித்ரலோகை: ஸஹவாஸிந ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய வேஸ்²மவாஸிநஸ்²சாத்⁴வே|
20 Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone:
அபரம்’ ப்ரேரிதா ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நஸ்²ச யத்ர பி⁴த்திமூலஸ்வரூபாஸ்தத்ர யூயம்’ தஸ்மிந் மூலே நிசீயத்⁴வே தத்ர ச ஸ்வயம்’ யீஸு²: க்²ரீஷ்ட: ப்ரதா⁴ந: கோணஸ்த²ப்ரஸ்தர: |
21 In whom all the building, being framed together, groweth up into an holy temple in the Lord.
தேந க்ரு’த்ஸ்நா நிர்ம்மிதி: ஸம்’க்³ரத்²யமாநா ப்ரபோ⁴: பவித்ரம்’ மந்தி³ரம்’ ப⁴விதும்’ வர்த்³த⁴தே|
22 In whom you also are built together into an habitation of God in the Spirit.
யூயமபி தத்ர ஸம்’க்³ரத்²யமாநா ஆத்மநேஸ்²வரஸ்ய வாஸஸ்தா²நம்’ ப⁴வத²|
