< Amos 4 >

1 Hear this word, ye fat kine that are in the mountains of Samaria: you that oppress the needy, and crush the poor: that say to your masters: Bring, and we will drink.
Denggenyo daytoy a sao, dakayo a baka iti Basan, dakayo nga adda iti bantay ti Samaria, dakayo a mangidaddadanes kadagiti marigrigat, dakayo a mangparparigat kadagiti agkasapulan, dakayo a mangibagbaga kadagiti assawayo a lalaki, “Iyegandakami ti mainum.”
2 The Lord God hath sworn by his holiness, that lo, the days shall come upon you, when they shall lift you up on pikes, and what shall remain of you in boiling pots.
Nagsapata ni Yahweh nga Apo babaen iti kinasantona: “Kitaenyo, dumtengto kadakayo dagiti aldaw nga alaendakayto babaen kadagiti kaw-it ken dagiti nabati kadakayo babaen kadagiti banniit.
3 And you shall go out at the breaches one over against the other, and you shall be cast forth into Armon, saith the Lord.
Rumuarkayonto babaen kadagiti rengngat iti pader ti siudad, tunggal maysa kadakayo ket rumuarto kadagitoy ket maitappuakkayonto iti Harmon —daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh.”
4 Come ye to Bethel, and do wickedly: to Galgal, and multiply transgressions: and bring in the morning your victims, your tithes in three days.
“Mapankayo idiay Betel ket ipapasyo ti agbasol, mapankayo idiay Gilgal ket paadoenyo dagiti basbasolyo. Iyegyo dagiti datunyo iti tunggal agsapa, dagiti apagkapulloyo iti tunggal maikatlo nga aldaw.
5 And offer a sacrifice of praise with leaven: and call free offerings, and proclaim it: for so you would do, O children of Israel, saith the Lord God.
Mangidatagkayo iti tinapay a kas sagut a panagyaman; iparammagyo dagiti daton a nagtaud iti nakemyo; ipablaakyo dagitoy, gapu ta daytoy ti pagragsakanyo, dakayo a tattao ti Israel—daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh nga Apo.
6 Whereupon I also have given you dulness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet you have not returned to me, saith the Lord.
“Inyegko kadakayo ti panagbisin iti amin a siudadyo ken kinakurang ti tinapay iti amin a lugaryo. Ngem saankayo a nagsubli kaniak —daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh.”
7 I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon: and the piece whereupon I rained not, withered.
“Saanko pay a pinagtudo idi panawen nga adda pay iti tallo a bulan sakbay iti panagaapit. Pinagtudok iti maysa a siudad, ngem saanko a pinagtudo ti dadduma siudad. Maysa a paset iti daga ti natudoan, ngem ti paset ti daga a saan a natudoan ket nagtikag.
8 And two and three cities went to one city to drink water, and were not filled: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.
Nagakar akar ti dua wenno tallo a siudad iti sabali a siudad tapno uminum, ngem saanda a napnek. Ngem saankayo a nagsubli kaniak —daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh.”
9 I struck you with a burning wind, and with mildew, the palmerworm hath eaten up your many gardens, and your vineyards: your olive groves, and fig groves: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.
“Pinarigatkayo gapu iti panaglaylay ken buot. Inibus dagiti dudon ti amin a minuyonganyo, dagiti kaubasanyo, dagiti kayoyo nga igos ken dagiti kayoyo nga olibo. Ngem saankayo a nagsubli kaniak— daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh.”
10 I sent death upon you in the way of Egypt, I slew your young men with the sword, even to the captivity of your horses: and I made the stench of your camp to come up into your nostrils: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.
Nangiyegak iti didigra kadakayo a kas iti inaramidko idiay Egipto. Pinatayko dagiti agtutuboyo a lalaki babaen iti kampilan, intalawko dagiti kabalioyo, impaalingasawko ti buyok iti kampoyo ket dimanun kadagiti agungyo. Ngem saankayo a nagsubli kaniak— daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh.”
11 I destroyed some of you, as God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha, and you were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.
“Pinarmekko dagiti siudadyo a kas idi pinarmek ti Dios ti Sodoma ken Gomora. Kayariganyo ti sumsumged a bislak a naikkat iti apoy. Ngem saankayo a nagsubli kaniak —daytoy ti imbaga ni Yahweh.”
12 Therefore I will do these things to thee, O Israel: and after I shall have done these things to thee, be prepared to meet thy God, O Israel.
Ngarud, nakabutbuteng ti aramidekto kadakayo, tattao ti Israel; ken gapu ta nakabutbuteng ti aramidekto kadakayo, agsaganakayo a sumango iti Diosyo, tattao ti Israel!
13 For behold he that formeth the mountains and createth the wind, and declareth his word to man, he that maketh the morning mist, and walketh upon the high places of the earth: the Lord the God of hosts is his name.
Kitaenyo, ti nangaramid kadagiti bantay isuna met lang ti nangparsua ti angin, ipakpakaammona ti kapanunotanna kadagiti tattao, pagbalbalinenna a sipnget ti aldaw ken agbadbadek kadagiti nangangato a disso iti daga.” Yahweh, Dios a mannakabalin amin ti naganna.
