Acts 17
1 And when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.
୧ପାଉଲ୍ ଆରି ସିଲା ଅମ୍ପିପଲି ଆରି ଆପଲନିଆ ବାଟ୍ଦେଇ ତେସ୍ଲନି ଜାଗାଇ କେଟ୍ଲାଇ । ତେଇ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ପାର୍ତନା ଗର୍ ରଇଲା ।
2 And Paul, according to his custom, went in unto them; and for three sabbath days he reasoned with them out of the scriptures:
୨ପାଉଲ୍ ତାର୍ ରିତିନିତି ଇସାବେ, ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେ ଗାଲା । ତେଇ ସେ ଲାଗି ଲାଗି ତିନ୍ଟା ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ବାରେ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାତାବାର୍ତା କଲା ।
3 Declaring and insinuating that the Christ was to suffer, and to rise again from the dead; and that this is Jesus Christ, whom I preach to you.
୩ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତର୍ ପଡିକରି ବୁଜାଇଲା ଜେ, ମସିଅ ଦୁକ୍ ପାଇବାର୍ ରଇଲା ଆରି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତାକେ ମଲାତେଇଅନି ଉଟାଇବାର୍ ରଇଲା । ପାଉଲ୍ କଇଲା, “ଜନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ବିସଇ ମୁଇ ଜାନାଇଲି, ସେ ଅଇଲାନି ମସିଅ ।”
4 And some of them believed, and were associated to Paul and Silas; and of those that served God, and of the Gentiles a great multitude, and of noble women not a few.
୪ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେତେ ଲକ୍ ଏଟା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ । ପାଉଲ୍ ଆରି ସିଲାର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସ୍ଲାଇ । ସେନ୍ତି ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ରଇବା ମାଇଜିମନ୍ ଆରି ପରମେସର୍କେ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବା ଗିରିକ୍ ମନର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ବଡ୍ ଦଲ୍ ମିସା ସେମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସ୍ଲାଇ ।
5 But the Jews, moved with envy, and taking unto them some wicked men of the vulgar sort, and making a tumult, set the city in an uproar; and besetting Jason’s house, sought to bring them out unto the people.
୫ମାତର୍ କେତେଟା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ପାଉଲ୍ ଆରି ସିଲାକେ କୁଟ୍ କରି, କାଇ କାମ୍ ନ କର୍ବା ଅଲ୍ସିଆ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଏକ୍ଜୁଟ୍ କଲାଇ, ଆରି ଟୁଲିଆଇ, ଗୁଲାଇ ଗଡ୍ ଜାକର୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଉସ୍କାଇ ରିସା କରାଇଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ପାଉଲ୍ ଆରି ସିଲାକେ କଜି ଆନ୍ବାକେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଜେସନ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଗରେ ଜାଇ, ତାର୍ ଗର୍ ଚପିପାକାଇଲାଇ ।
6 And not finding them, they drew Jason and certain brethren to the rulers of the city, crying: They that set the city in an uproar, are come hither also;
୬ମାତର୍ ତେଇ ପାଉଲ୍ ଆରି ସିଲା ଡିସତ୍ ନାଇଜେ, ସେମନ୍ ଜେସନ୍ ଆରି ବିନ୍ କେତେଟା ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍କେ, ଗଡର୍ ନେତାମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଜିକିନେଇ ଆଉଲିଅଇ କଇଲାଇ, “ଏ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଚାରିବେଟ୍ତି ଗଣ୍ଡ୍ଗଲ୍ କଲାଇନି! ଏବେ ଆମର୍ ଗଡେ ମିସା ଆଇଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍
7 Whom Jason hath received; and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.
୭ଆରି ଏସନ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ ତାର୍ ଗରେ ରକିରଇଲା । ଜିସୁ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ରାଜା ଆଚେ ବଲି କଇକରି ସେମନ୍ ଆମର୍ ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ବାଙ୍ଗ୍ଲାଇନି ।”
8 And they stirred up the people, and the rulers of the city hearing these things,
୮ଏ କାତା କଇ ସେମନ୍, ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଆରି ସାସନ୍କାରିଆର୍ ବିରଦେ ଆଉଲି ଅଇକରି ବେସି ରିସା କରାଇଲାଇ ଆରି ଗଣ୍ଡ୍ଗଲ୍ କରାଇଲାଇ ।
9 And having taken satisfaction of Jason and of the rest, they let them go.
୯ସାସନ୍ କରୁମନ୍ ଜେସନ୍ ଆରି ବିସ୍ବାସିମନର୍ତେଇଅନି ଚାଡ୍ବାକେ, ଜେତ୍କି ଡାବୁ ବାନ୍ଦ୍ବାକେ ରଇଲା, ଲାଁଚ୍ ନେଇକରି ସେମନ୍କେ ଜାମିଲେ ଚାଡିଦେଲାଇ ।
10 But the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea. Who, when they were come thither, went into the synagogue of the Jews.
୧୦ରାତି ଅଇଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ, ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ପାଉଲ୍ ଆରି ସିଲାକେ ବେରିଆ ନାଉଁର୍ ଜାଗାଇ ପାଟାଇଦେଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ତେଇ କେଟି, ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେ ଗାଲାଇ ।
11 Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, who received the word with all eagerness, daily searching the scriptures, whether these things were so.
୧୧ତେସଲନିର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ବେରିଆର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ କୁଲାକୁଲି ମନ୍ ରଇବା ଲକ୍ ରଇଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ଅଦିକ୍ ମନ୍ଦିଆନ୍ ଦେଇ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ସିକିଆ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ । ଆରି ପାଉଲ୍ କଇଲା କାତା, ସତ୍ କି ନାଇ ବଲି ଜାନ୍ବାକେ ସବୁ ଦିନ୍ ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତର୍ ପଡ୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ।
12 And many indeed of them believed, and of honourable women that were Gentiles, and of men not a few.
୧୨ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ବେସି ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ । ବେସି ସାଉକାର୍ ଅଇ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ପାଇବା ଗିରିକ୍ ମାଇଜି ଆରି ଗିରିକ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମିସା ବିସ୍ବାସିମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସ୍ଲାଇ ।
13 And when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was also preached by Paul at Berea, they came thither also, stirring up and troubling the multitude.
୧୩ମାତର୍ ଜେଡେବଲ୍ ତେସ୍ଲନିର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ ଜେ ବେରିଆତେଇ ମିସା ପାଉଲ୍ ପରମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ ଜାନାଇଲାନି, ସେମନ୍ ତେଇ ଆସି ପାଉଲର୍ ବିରଦେ ଗଣ୍ଡ୍ଗଲ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଉସ୍କାଇଲାଇ ।
14 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul, to go unto the sea; but Silas and Timothy remained there.
୧୪ସେ ଦାପ୍ରେ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ପାଉଲ୍କେ ସମ୍ଦୁର୍ ପାଲିବାଟେ ପାଟାଇଦେଲାଇ, ମାତର୍ ସିଲା ଆରି ତିମତି ଦୁଇ ଲକ୍ ବେରିଆଇ ରଇଲାଇ ।
15 And they that conducted Paul, brought him as far as Athens; and receiving a commandment from him to Silas and Timothy, that they should come to him with all speed, they departed.
୧୫ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଡାକିନେବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ତାର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆତେନସ୍ ଜାକ ଗାଲାଇ । ତେଇଅନି ସେମନ୍ ବେରିଆଇ ବାଉଡି ଆସି, ସିଲା ଆରି ତିମତିକେ କଇଲାଇ, “ତମ୍କେ ପାଉଲ୍ ବେଗି ମିସ୍ବାକେ କବର୍ ପାଟାଇ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ ।”
16 Now whilst Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred within him, seeing the city wholly given to idolatry.
୧୬ସିଲା ଆରି ତିମତିକେ ଆତେନେସ୍ତେଇ ଜାଗି ରଇଲା ବେଲେ, ଗଡ୍ଜାକର୍ ଲକ୍ ପୁଜା କର୍ବା ଦେବ୍ତାମନର୍ ମୁର୍ତିମନ୍ ଦେକି, ପାଉଲର୍ ମନ୍ ବେସି ଉଡୁକ୍ଦୁଡୁକ୍ ଅଇଗାଲା ।
17 He disputed, therefore, in the synagogue with the Jews, and with them that served God, and in the marketplace, every day with them that were there.
୧୭ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ସେ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେ ସେମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍, ଆରି ପରମେସର୍କେ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବା ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍, ଏ ବିସଇ ସବୁ ଦିନ୍ ଆଲ୍ଚନା କର୍ବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା । ଆଟେବାଟେ ଜିବାଆଇବା କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେ ବିସଇ ଆଲ୍ଚନା କଲା ।
18 And certain philosophers of the Epicureans and of the Stoics disputed with him; and some said: What is it, that this word sower would say? But others: He seemeth to be a setter forth of new gods; because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection.
୧୮କେତେଟା ଏପିକିଉରିଆନ୍ ଆରି ଟଇକ୍ ସିକିଆ ଦେବା ଗୁରୁମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦଦାପେଲା ଅଇଲାଇ । ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେତେ ଲକ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଏ ବକୁଆ ବଡ୍ପନିଆ, କାଇଟା କଇବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କଲାନି?” ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ବିନ୍ ଦେସେ ରଇବା ଦେବ୍ତାମନର୍ ବିସଇ, ସେ ଜାନାଇଲାନି ପାରା ଲାଗ୍ଲାନି ।” ଜିସୁ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଅଇ ଉଟ୍ଲା ବିସଇ ପାଉଲ୍ ଜାନାଇବାଟା ସୁନି ସେମନ୍ ଏନ୍ତି କଇଲାଇ ।
19 And taking him, they brought him to the Areopagus, saying: May we know what this new doctrine is, which thou speakest of?
୧୯ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଦାରି ସେ ନଅରର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ଜାଗା, ଜନ୍ଟା କି ଏରିଅପାଗସ୍ ତେଇ ଆନ୍ଲାଇ । ଆରି ତେଇ କଇଲାଇ, “ତୁଇ ଜନ୍ ନୁଆ ସିକିଆ ବିସଇ କଇଲୁସ୍ନି, ସେ ବିସଇ ଆମେ ଜାନ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲୁନି ।”
20 For thou bringest in certain new things to our ears. We would know therefore what these things mean.
୨୦ତୁଇ କଇବା କେତେଟା କାତା ଆମେ ଆଗ୍ତୁ କେବେ ସୁନି ନ ରଇଲୁ । ଆମେ ତାର୍ ଅରତ୍ ଜାନ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲୁନି ।
21 (Now all the Athenians, and strangers that were there, employed themselves in nothing else, but either in telling or in hearing some new thing.)
୨୧କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଆତେନେସର୍ ଲକ୍ ଆରି ତେଇ ରଇବା ବିନ୍ ଦେସର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ନୁଆ ବିସଇ ସୁନ୍ବାକେ ଆରି କଇବାକେ ବଲ୍ପାଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ତେଇ ସେମନ୍ ବେସି ବେଲା ଦେଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ ।
22 But Paul standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious.
୨୨ପାଉଲ୍ ସେ ଗଡର୍ ସବା ମୁଆଟେ ଟିଆ ଅଇ କଇଲା, ଆତେନିଅର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ତମେ ସବୁ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଜାନାପଡ୍ଲାନି ।
23 For passing by, and seeing your idols, I found an altar also, on which was written: To the unknown God. What therefore you worship, without knowing it, that I preach to you:
୨୩କାଇକେବଇଲେ, ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ନଅରେ ବୁଲି ଦେକ୍ଲା ବେଲେ, ତମର୍ ପୁଜା କର୍ବା ଜାଗାମନ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲି । ତେଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ବେଦି ରଇଲା । ଗଟେକ୍ ନ ଜାନ୍ଲା ଦେବ୍ତାକେ, ଲେକାରଇଲାଟା ମିସା ଦେକ୍ଲି । ତମେ ଜାକେ ନାଜାନି ପୁଜାକଲାସ୍ନି । ଏବେ ତାର୍ ବିସଇ ତମ୍କେ ଜାନାଇଲିନି ।
24 God, who made the world, and all things therein; he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
୨୪ପରମେସର୍ ଦୁନିଆ ଆରି ତେଇ ରଇଲା ସବୁ ବିସଇ ତିଆର୍ କଲା । ସେ ସରଗ୍ ଆରି ଜଗତର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ । ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତିଆର୍ କଲା ମନ୍ଦିରେ ରଇବାକେ ମନ୍ ନ କରେ ।
25 Neither is he served with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing; seeing it is he who giveth to all life, and breath, and all things:
୨୫ଆମେ ତାର୍ ପାଇ କାମ୍ କରି ତାକେ ଦେଇପାର୍ବୁ ପାରା କାଇଟା ମିସା ସେ ମନ୍ କରେ ନାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେ ସବୁକେ ଜିବନ୍, ପବନ୍ ଆରି ସବୁ ଦର୍କାର୍ ରଇଲାଟା ଦେଲାଆଚେ ।
26 And hath made of one, all mankind, to dwell upon the whole face of the earth, determining appointed times, and the limits of their habitation.
୨୬ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ଅନି ସେ ସବୁ ମୁନୁସ୍ ଜାତିକେ ତିଆର୍ କଲା । ଆରି ତାର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ଇସାବେ ସେମନ୍ ଦୁନିଆର୍ ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ଜାଗାଇ ବାସା ଅଇଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍, ସେଟା ପୁର୍ବେଅନି ପରମେସର୍ ଟିକ୍ କଲାଆଚେ ।
27 That they should seek God, if happily they may feel after him or find him, although he be not far from every one of us:
୨୭ତାକର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ରଇଲା ଜେ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ତାକେ କଜି କରି ବେଟ୍ ଅଅତ୍ । ମାତର୍ ସତଇସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ କାର୍ଟାନେଅନି ମିସା ଦୁରିକେ ନାଇ ।
28 For in him we live, and move, and are; as some also of your own poets said: For we are also his offspring.
୨୮ଏ ବିସଇ କେକି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ କଇଲା ଆଚେ, “ତାର୍ ଲଗେ ଆକା ଆମର୍ ଜିବନର୍ କୁଚିକାଡି ଆଚେ ।” ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେତେଲକ୍ କଇଆଚତ୍, ଆମେ ମିସା ତାର୍ ପିଲାଜିଲା ।
29 Being therefore the offspring of God, we must not suppose the divinity to be like unto gold, or silver, or stone, the graving of art, and device of man.
୨୯ଆମେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପିଲାଜିଲା ଅଇଲାର୍ ପାଇ ମୁନୁସ୍ ତିଆର୍ କଲା ସୁନା, ରୁପା ନଇଲେ ପାକ୍ନା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିଆର୍ କଲା ପୁତ୍ଲା, ପରମେସର୍ ରୁପ୍ ବଲି ବାବି ନାପାରୁ ।
30 And God indeed having winked at the times of this ignorance, now declareth unto men, that all should every where do penance.
୩୦ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ପରମେସର୍କେ ଜାନି ନ ରଇଲା ବେଲେ, ସେ ଦସ୍ ଦାରି ନ ରଇଲା, ମାତର୍ ଏବେ ସବୁ ଜାଗାର୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ, ସେମନର୍ ପାପ୍ ବାଟେଅନି ବାଅଡ୍ବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲାନି ।
31 Because he hath appointed a day wherein he will judge the world in equity, by the man whom he hath appointed; giving faith to all, by raising him up from the dead.
୩୧ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଟିକ୍ କଲା ଆଚେ । ସେ ଦିନେ, ସେ ବାଚିରଇବା ଲକର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗୁଲାଇ ଦୁନିଆର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ସି । ସେ ଲକ୍ ମଲାଟାନେଅନି ଉଟି ଏ କାତା ସତ୍ ବଲି, ସବୁକେ ଜାନାଇଲା ଆଚେ ।
32 And when they had heard of the resurrection of the dead, some indeed mocked, but others said: We will hear thee again concerning this matter.
୩୨ପାଉଲର୍ଟାନେ, ମଲାଟାନେଅନି ଉଟ୍ଲା ବିସଇ ସୁନି ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେତେ ଲକ୍ ତାକେ କିଜାଇଲାଇ, ମାତର୍ ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ତମର୍ତେଇଅନି ଆମେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ଏ ବିସଇ ସୁନ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲୁନି ।”
33 So Paul went out from among them.
୩୩ପାଉଲ୍ ସେ ଦିନର୍ ସବାଇ ଅନି ଉଟି ବାରିଗାଲା ।
34 But certain men adhering to him, did believe; among whom was also Dionysius, the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
୩୪ଡାୟନିସିଅସ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ସବାର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ମେମର୍, ଦାମାରି ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ମାଇଜି ଆରି କେତେଟା ଲକ୍, ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ତାର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସ୍ଲାଇ ।
