Acts 13

1 Now there were in the church which was at Antioch, prophets and doctors, among whom was Barnabas, and Simon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manahen, who was the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

১আন্তিয়খিয়াত থকা মণ্ডলীত কেইজনমান ভাৱবাদী আৰু উপদেশক আছিল৷ তেওঁলোক বাৰ্ণব্বা, চিমোন, যি জনক নিগ্ৰ বোলে, কুৰীণীৰ লুকীয়, হেৰোদ ৰজাৰ লগত প্ৰতিপালিত হোৱা মনহেম আৰু চৌল৷

2 And as they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Ghost said to them: Separate me Saul and Barnabas, for the work whereunto I have taken them.

২যি সময়ত তেওঁলোকে প্ৰভুৰ উপাসনা কৰি লঘোন দি আছিল, সেই সময়তে পবিত্ৰ আত্মাই কলে, “যি কৰ্ম কৰিবলৈ মই বাৰ্ণব্বা আৰু চৌলক মাতিলোঁ, সেই কৰ্মৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকক মোলৈ পৃথক কৰি দিয়া৷”

3 Then they, fasting and praying, and imposing their hands upon them, sent them away.

৩তাতে তেওঁলোকে লঘোন দি প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি, সেই দুজনৰ ওপৰত হাত দি পঠিয়াই দিলে৷

4 So they being sent by the Holy Ghost, went to Seleucia: and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

৪এইদৰে পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰ বাধ্য হৈ বাৰ্ণব্বা আৰু চৌল চিলুকিয়ালৈ গ’ল; তাৰ পৰা জাহাজেৰে কুপ্ৰ দ্বীপলৈ গ’ল৷

5 And when they were come to Salamina, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. And they had John also in the ministry.

৫তাতে চালামী নগৰ পাই, ইহুদী সকলৰ নাম-ঘৰবোৰত ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য প্ৰচাৰ কৰিলে৷ সেই সময়ত যোহনো তেওঁলোকৰ পৰিচাৰক হৈ আছিল৷

6 And when they had gone through the whole island, as far as Paphos, they found a certain man, a magician, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesu:

৬এইদৰে তেওঁলোকে সেই দ্বীপটোৰ চাৰিওফালে ফুৰি পাফঃ নগৰলৈকে গ’ল, তাতে বাৰ-যীচু নামেৰে যি এজন যিহুদী মানুহ মায়াবী আৰু ভাঁৰিকোৱা ভাববাদী আছিল, তেওঁক দেখা পালে৷

7 Who was with the proconsul Sergius Paulus, a prudent man. He sending for Barnabas and Saul, desired to hear the word of God.

৭তেওঁ সেই দ্বীপৰ অধিপতি বুদ্ধিমান চৰ্জ্জিয় পৌলৰ লগত আছিল৷ সেই অধিপতিয়ে ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য শুনিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰি চৌল আৰু বাৰ্ণব্বাক মাতি পঠিয়ালে৷

8 But Elymas the magician (for so his name is interpreted) withstood them, seeking to turn away the proconsul from the faith.

৮কিন্তু ইলুমাই, অৰ্থাৎ সেই মায়াবীয়ে (কিয়নো এয়ে তেওঁৰ নামৰ অৰ্থ) অধিপতিক বিশ্বাসৰ পৰা আতৰাই অনাৰ উদ্দেশ্যেৰে তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰতিৰোধ কৰিলে৷

9 Then Saul, otherwise Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost, looking upon him,

৯তাতে চৌল, যি জনক পৌলো বোলে, তেওঁ পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হৈ, তেওঁলৈ স্হিৰ দৃষ্টিৰে চালে

10 Said: O full of all guile, and of all deceit, child of the devil, enemy of all justice, thou ceasest not to pervert the right ways of the Lord.

১০আৰু কলে, “হেৰৌ সকলো কপট আৰু দুষ্কৰ্মেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হোৱাটো, চয়তানৰ পুতেক আৰু সকলো প্রকাৰ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ শত্ৰু, তই প্ৰভুৰ সৰল পথ বিপৰীত কৰিবলৈ ৰখা নাই নে?

11 And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately there fell a mist and darkness upon him, and going about, he sought some one to lead him by the hand.

১১আৰু এতিয়া চা, প্ৰভুৰ হাত তোৰ ওপৰত আছে আৰু তই কিছু সময়লৈকে সুৰ্য্য নেদেখি অন্ধ হৈ থাকিবি৷” তেতিয়াই ইলুমাইৰ চকু জলকতবক লাগিল আৰু অন্ধকাৰময় হ’ল; তেতিয়া তেওঁক হাতত ধৰি নিবলৈ তেওঁ মানুহ বিচাৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে৷

12 Then the proconsul, when he had seen what was done, believed, admiring at the doctrine of the Lord.

১২এই ঘটনা দেখি, সেই অধিপতিয়ে প্ৰভুৰ উপদেশত বিস্ময় মানি বিশ্বাস কৰিলে৷

13 Now when Paul and they that were with him had sailed from Paphos, they came to Perge in Pamphylia. And John departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.

১৩ইয়াৰ পাছত পৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ কেইজনে পাফঃ নগৰৰ পৰা সমুদ্ৰ-পথেদি পাম্ফুলিয়া দেশৰ পৰ্গা নগৰলৈ গ’ল৷ কিন্তু যোহনে তেওঁলোকক এৰি, যিৰূচালেমলৈ উলটি আহিল৷

14 But they passing through Perge, came to Antioch in Pisidia: and entering into the synagogue on the sabbath day, they sat down.

১৪পৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ কেইজনে পৰ্গাৰ পৰা যাত্ৰা কৰি পিচিদিয়া দেশৰ আন্তিয়খিয়া নগৰ পাই তাতে বিশ্ৰামবাৰে নাম-ঘৰত সোমাই বহিল৷

15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying: Ye men, brethren, if you have any word of exhortation to make to the people, speak.

১৫তাতে বিধান-শাস্ত্ৰ আৰু ভাববাদী সকলৰ বাক্য পঢ়াৰ পাছত, নাম-ঘৰৰ অধিকাৰী সকলে তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰলৈ কৈ পঠিয়ালে বোলে, “হে ভাই সকল, মানুহবোৰলৈ তোমালোকৰ যদি কোনো উদগণিৰ কথা আছে, তেনেহলে সেই বিষয়ে কোৱা৷”

16 Then Paul rising up, and with his hand bespeaking silence, said: Ye men of Israel, and you that fear God, give ear.

১৬তেতিয়া পৌলে উঠি, হাতেৰে ইংগিত দি কলে, “হে ইস্ৰায়েলীয়া মানুহবোৰ আৰু হে ঈশ্বৰ ভয়কাৰী লোক সকল, শুনক৷

17 The God of the people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they were sojourners in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought them out from thence,

১৭এই ইস্ৰায়েলী সকলৰ ঈশ্বৰে আমাৰ ওপৰ-পুৰুষ সকলক মনোনীত কৰিলে আৰু মিচৰ দেশত প্ৰবাসী হৈ থকা সময়ত মানুহবোৰৰ উন্নতি সাধন কৰি, তাৰ পৰা নিজ পৰাক্ৰমেৰে তেওঁলোকক বাহিৰ কৰি আনিলে৷

18 And for the space of forty years endured their manners in the desert.

১৮আৰু দুকুৰিমান বছৰলৈকে মৰুপ্ৰান্তত তেওঁলোকক পিতৃৰ নিচিনাকৈ প্ৰতিপালন কৰিলে৷

19 And destroying seven nations in the land of Chanaan, divided their land among them, by lot,

১৯পাছত তেওঁ কনান দেশৰ সাত জাতিক উচ্ছেদ কৰি, তেওঁলোকৰ দেশখনক উত্তৰাধিকাৰ স্বৰূপে ইস্ৰায়েলী সকলক দিলে৷

20 As it were, after four hundred and fifty years: and after these things, he gave unto them judges, until Samuel the prophet.

২০এইদৰে প্ৰায় চাৰি শ পঞ্চাশ বছৰ পাৰ হৈ গ’ল৷ তাৰ পাছত, চমূৱেল ভাববাদীৰ সময়লৈকে বিচাৰকৰ্তা সকলক নিযুক্ত কৰিলে৷

21 And after that they desired a king: and God gave them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, forty years.

২১পাছত তেওঁলোকে এজন ৰজা বিচৰাত, ঈশ্বৰে বিন্যামীন ফৈদৰ কীচৰ পুত্ৰ চৌলক চল্লিশ বছৰলৈকে ৰাজত্ব কৰিবলৈ দিলে৷

22 And when he had removed him, he raised them up David to be king: to whom giving testimony, he said: I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man according to my own heart, who shall do all my wills.

২২ইয়াৰ পাছত ঈশ্বৰে ৰজাৰ শাসনৰ পৰা তেওঁক আতৰাই, তেওঁলোকৰ ৰজা হবলৈ দায়ুদক মনোনীত কৰিলে৷ আৰু দায়ুদৰ বিষয়ে ঈশ্বৰে সাক্ষ্য দি কলে, ‘মোৰ মনৰ দৰে এজনক, অৰ্থাৎ যিচয়ৰ পুত্ৰ দায়ুদক পালোঁ; তেওঁ মোৰ সকলো ইচ্ছা পূৰ্ণ কৰিব৷’

23 Of this man’s seed God according to his promise, hath raised up to Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

২৩এই জন মানুহৰ বংশৰ পৰা ঈশ্বৰে প্ৰতিজ্ঞা কৰাৰ দৰে এজন ত্ৰাণকৰ্তা, অৰ্থাৎ যীচুক ইস্ৰায়েলী লোকৰ আগত উপস্থিত কৰিলে৷

24 John first preaching, before his coming, the baptism of penance to all the people of Israel.

২৪যীচু অহাৰ আগেয়ে, যোহনে ইস্ৰায়েলী লোক সকলৰ আগত মন-পালটনৰ বাপ্তিস্মৰ কথা ঘোষণা কৰিলে৷

25 And when John was fulfilling his course, he said: I am not he, whom you think me to be: but behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

২৫যোহনে তেওঁৰ কাৰ্য সম্পন্ন কৰোঁতে, এই কথা কৈছিল, ‘আপোনালোকে মোক কোন বুলি ভাবিছে? মই সেই জন নহওঁ৷ কিন্তু শুনক, এনে এজন মোৰ পাছত আহি আছে, যি জনৰ চৰণৰ পাদুকাৰ বান্ধ খুলিবৰো মই যোগ্য নহওঁ৷’

26 Men, brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you fear God, to you the word of this salvation is sent.

২৬হে ভাই সকল, হে অব্ৰাহামৰ বংশৰ সন্তান সকল আৰু আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ ঈশ্বৰ ভয়কাৰী সকল, আমালৈ এই পৰিত্রাণৰ বাক্য পঠোৱা হৈছে৷

27 For they that inhabited Jerusalem, and the rulers thereof, not knowing him, nor the voices of the prophets, which are read every sabbath, judging him have fulfilled them.

২৭কিয়নো যিৰূচালেম নিবাসী আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ শাসনকৰ্তা সকলে তেওঁক নাজানি আৰু প্ৰত্যেক বিশ্ৰামবাৰত পঢ়া ভাববাদী সকলৰ বাক্যকো নুবুজি, যীচুক দোষাৰোপ কৰি, সেই বাক্য পূৰ্ণ কৰিলে৷

28 And finding no cause of death in him, they desired of Pilate, that they might kill him.

২৮আনকি প্ৰাণদণ্ডৰ কোনো কাৰণ বিচাৰি নাপাই, তেওঁক বধ কৰিবলৈ পীলাতৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰিলে,

29 And when they had fulfilled all things that were written of him, taking him down from the tree, they laid him in a sepulchre.

২৯আৰু তেওঁৰ বিষয়ে যি যি কথা লিখা আছিল; তেওঁলোকে সেই সকলোকে সম্পন্ন কৰি তেওঁক কাঠৰ পৰা নমাই মৈদামত শুৱাই থলে৷

30 But God raised him up from the dead the third day:

৩০কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁক মৃতবোৰৰ মাজৰ পৰা তুলিলে

31 Who was seen for many days, by them who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who to this present are his witnesses to the people.

৩১আৰু গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ পৰা যিৰূচালেমলৈ তেওঁৰ লগত অহা সকলক তেওঁ অনেক দিনলৈ দেখা দি থাকিল৷ তেওঁলোকেই এতিয়া লোক সকলৰ আগত তেওঁৰ সাক্ষী হৈ আছে৷

32 And we declare unto you, that the promise which was made to our fathers,

৩২গতিকে আমাৰ পূৰ্ব-পুৰুষ সকলৰ আগত ঈশ্বৰে কৰা প্ৰতিজ্ঞাৰ বিষয়ে, আমি আপোনালোকক এই শুভবাৰ্তা জনাইছো:

33 This same God hath fulfilled to our children, raising up Jesus, as in the second psalm also is written: Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

৩৩ঈশ্বৰে যীচুক মৃত্যুৰ পৰা তুলি, সেই প্ৰতিজ্ঞা আমাৰ সন্তান সকললৈ সিদ্ধ কৰিলে৷ এই বিষয়ে গীতমালাৰ দুই নম্বৰ গীতত লিখা আছে, বোলে, ‘তুমি মোৰ পুত্ৰ, আজি মই তোমাক জন্ম দিলোঁ৷’

34 And to shew that he raised him up from the dead, not to return now any more to corruption, he said thus: I will give you the holy things of David faithful.

৩৪ঈশ্বৰে যীচুক যে মৃতবোৰৰ মাজৰ পৰা তুলিলে, আগলৈ ক্ষয় নাপাবলৈহে তুলিলে৷ এই বিষয়ে ঈশ্বৰে কৈছিলঃ ‘দায়ুদৰ ওচৰত যি যি পবিত্ৰ বিধান আৰু সত্য প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি দিছিলোঁ, সেই সকলো মই তোমালোকক দিম৷’

35 And therefore, in another place also, he saith: Thou shalt not suffer thy holy one to see corruption.

৩৫এইদৰে আন গীতত তেওঁ কৈছে, ‘তুমি তোমাৰ পবিত্ৰ জনক ক্ষয় পাবলৈ নিদিবা৷’

36 For David, when he had served in his generation, according to the will of God, slept: and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption.

৩৬কিয়নো দায়ুদে ঈশ্বৰৰ ইচ্ছাৰ দৰে সেৱা কৰি, তেওঁৰ সময়ত মানুহবোৰৰ উপকাৰ সাধন কৰিলে আৰু মহা-নিদ্ৰা গ’ল, আৰু তেওঁক পিতৃপুৰুষ সকলৰ সৈতে মৈদামত থোৱা হোৱাত ক্ষয় পালে,

37 But he whom God hath raised from the dead, saw no corruption.

৩৭কিন্তু যি জনক ঈশ্বৰে তুলিলে, সেই জনে ক্ষয় নাপালে৷

38 Be it known therefore to you, men, brethren, that through him forgiveness of sins is preached to you: and from all the things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

৩৮এই কাৰণে, হে ভাই সকল, সেই জনৰ দ্বাৰাই আপোনালোকৰ আগত পাপ মোচনৰ ন্যায় বিষয়ৰ গ্ৰহণীয়তা প্ৰচাৰ কৰা হৈছে৷

39 In him every one that believeth, is justified.

৩৯আৰু মোচিৰ বিধানৰ দ্বাৰাই যি যি দোষৰ পৰা আপোনালোকে ন্যায্যতা প্ৰদান কৰিব পৰা নাই; সেই আটাই দোষৰ পৰা যীচুত বিশ্বাস কৰাৰ দ্বাৰাই সকলোৱে মুক্ত হয়, ইয়াক আপোনালোকে জানি লওঁক৷

40 Beware, therefore, lest that come upon you which is spoken in the prophets:

৪০এতেকে সাৱধান হওক, যাতে কোনো ভাৱবাদী সকলৰ পু্স্তকত লিখা এই বাক্য মতে আপোনালোকলৈ যেন নঘটে, ভাববাদী সকলে কৈছে -

41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you will not believe, if any man shall tell it you.

৪১‘হে হেয়জ্ঞানকাৰী সকল, তোমালোকে চোৱা, বিস্ময় মানা, আৰু অন্তৰ্হিত হোৱা; এনে কৰ্ম মই তোমালোকৰ দিনত কৰিম, কিয়নো যি কৰ্মৰ বিৱৰণ কোনোৱে তোমালোকক কলেও, তোমালোকে সেই বিৱৰণ কোনোমতে বিশ্বাস নকৰিবা৷’

42 And as they went out, they desired them, that on the next sabbath, they would speak unto them these words.

৪২পাছত পৌল আৰু বাৰ্ণব্বা ওলাই যাবলৈ ধৰোতে, মানুহবোৰে নিবেদন কৰি ক’লে, “অহা বিশ্ৰাম-বাৰতো এইদৰে প্ৰচাৰ কৰা হওক৷”

43 And when the synagogue was broken up, many of the Jews, and of the strangers who served God, followed Paul and Barnabas: who speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

৪৩তেতিয়া নাম-ঘৰৰ সমাজ ভাঙিলত, অনেক ইহুদী আৰু ইহুদী ধৰ্ম লোৱা ভক্ত সকলে পৌল আৰু বাৰ্ণব্বাক অনুসৰণ কৰিলে, তাতে তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে কথা-বতৰা হৈ, ঈশ্বৰৰ অনুগ্ৰহত থিৰ হৈ থাকিবলৈ তেওঁলোকক উদগণি দিলে৷

44 But the next sabbath day, the whole city almost came together, to hear the word of God.

৪৪তাৰ পাছৰ বিশ্ৰামবাৰত নগৰৰ প্ৰায় সকলো মানুহে ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য শুনিবলৈ গোট খালে৷

45 And the Jews seeing the multitudes, were filled with envy, and contradicted those things which were said by Paul, blaspheming.

৪৫কিন্তু ইহুদী সকলে লোক সকলক দেখি, ঈৰ্ষাৰে পুৰ হৈ নিন্দা কৰি কৰি পৌলে কোৱা কথা অৱমাননা কৰিলে৷

46 Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly: To you it behoved us first to speak the word of God: but because you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold we turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)

৪৬তাতে পৌল আৰু বাৰ্ণব্বাই সাহসেৰে কলে, “প্ৰথমতে আপোনালোকক ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য কোৱা উচিত আছিল৷ কিন্তু আপোনালোকে নিজকে দুৰ কৰি অনন্ত জীৱনৰ অযোগ্য দেখুৱালে, সেয়ে চাওক, আমি অনা-ইহুদী লোক সকলৰ মাজলৈ ঘুৰিলোঁ৷ (aiōnios g166)

47 For so the Lord hath commanded us: I have set thee to be the light of the Gentiles; that thou mayest be for salvation unto the utmost part of the earth.

৪৭কিয়নো প্ৰভুৱে আমাক এনে আজ্ঞা দিলে, ‘তোমাক মই অনা-ইহুদী লোকৰ পোহৰ কৰি থলোঁ, যেন তুমি জগতৰ সীমালৈকে পৰিত্রাণস্বৰূপ হোৱা৷”

48 And the Gentiles hearing it, were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to life everlasting, believed. (aiōnios g166)

৪৮অনা-ইহুদী লোকে ইয়াকে শুনি আনন্দিত হৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্যৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰিলে৷ যি সকলক অনন্ত জীৱন পাবলৈ নিৰূপিত আছিল, সেই সকলোৱে বিশ্বাস কৰিলে৷ (aiōnios g166)

49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout the whole country.

৪৯এইদৰে প্ৰভুৰ বাক্য সেই ঠাইৰ গোটেই অঞ্চলত বিয়পি গ’ল৷

50 But the Jews stirred up religious and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas: and cast them out of their coasts.

৫০কিন্তু ইহুদী সকলে, ভক্ত ভদ্ৰ মহিলা সকলক আৰু নগৰৰ প্ৰধান লোকক উচটাই, পৌল আৰু বাৰ্ণব্বাক তাড়না কৰি, তেওঁলোকৰ সীমাৰ পৰা খেদাই দিলে।

51 But they, shaking off the dust of their feet against them, came to Iconium.

৫১তাতে তেওঁলোকে ভৰিৰ ধুলি সিহঁতৰ অহিতে জোকাৰি পেলাই, ইকনিয় নগৰলৈ গ’ল৷

52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost.

৫২আৰু শিষ্য সকল আনন্দেৰে আৰু পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হ’ল৷
