2 Thessalonians 2

1 And we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together unto him:

സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വരവിനെയും അവിടത്തെ സന്നിധിയിലേക്കു നമ്മെ ഒരുമിച്ച് ചേർക്കുന്നതിനെയും സംബന്ധിച്ചാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്.

2 That you be not easily moved from your sense, nor be terrified, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by epistle, as sent from us, as if the day of the Lord were at hand.

കർത്താവിന്റെ ദിവസം വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു എന്നുറപ്പാക്കുന്ന ഏതെങ്കിലും തരത്തിലുള്ള പ്രവചനം, പ്രഭാഷണം, ഞങ്ങൾ എഴുതിയെന്നു തോന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള ലേഖനം എന്നിവയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അതിവേഗത്തിൽ ചഞ്ചലചിത്തരോ അസ്വസ്ഥരോ ആകരുത്.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,

ആരും ഒരുവിധത്തിലും നിങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുത്. വിശ്വാസത്യാഗം സംഭവിക്കുകയും, തുടർന്ന് നിയമരാഹിത്യത്തിന്റെ മൂർത്തീമദ്ഭാവമായ വിനാശപുത്രൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് കർത്താവിന്റെ ദിവസം വരികയില്ല!

4 Who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God.

ദൈവം എന്നും ആരാധ്യം എന്നും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിനെയും അയാൾ ഉപരോധിക്കുകയും അവക്കെല്ലാം മീതേ സ്വയം ഉയർത്തി താൻതന്നെയാണ് ദൈവം എന്നവകാശപ്പെട്ട് ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ സ്വയം പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

5 Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞത് ഓർക്കുന്നില്ലേ?

6 And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time.

നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട സമയത്തുമാത്രം പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടാനായി ഇപ്പോൾ അയാളെ തടഞ്ഞു നിർത്തുന്നത് എന്താണെന്ന് നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയാം.

7 For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way.

നിയമരാഹിത്യം ഇപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ നിഗൂഢമായി പ്രവർത്തനനിരതമാണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ തടഞ്ഞു നിർത്തുന്ന ആൾ വഴിമധ്യേനിന്നു മാറുമ്പോൾമാത്രമേ അതു പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുകയുള്ളൂ.

8 And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him,

അപ്പോൾ ആ വിനാശപുത്രൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടും; അയാളെ കർത്താവായ യേശു തന്റെ വായിലെ ശ്വാസത്താൽ നിഷ്കാസനംചെയ്ത് അവിടത്തെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയുടെ തേജസ്സിൽ ഉന്മൂലനംചെയ്യും.

9 Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,

വിനാശപുത്രന്റെ വരവ് സാത്താന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനരീതിക്കു സമാനമായിട്ട്, എല്ലാത്തരം ശക്തി പ്രകടനങ്ങളോടും വ്യാജമായ ചിഹ്നങ്ങളോടും അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളോടും കൂടിയുമായിരിക്കും.

10 And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

തങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്ന സത്യത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു സ്വീകരിക്കാതെ നാശത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്നവരുടെമേൽ എല്ലാ തരത്തിലുമുള്ള ദുഷ്ടതനിറഞ്ഞ വഞ്ചനയും അയാൾ പ്രയോഗിക്കും.

11 Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying:

ഈ വ്യാജം വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിനുവേണ്ടി ദൈവം അവർക്ക് ശക്തമായ ഒരു മതിവിഭ്രമം നൽകും.

12 That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity.

അങ്ങനെ, സത്യത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെ ദുഷ്ടതയിൽ അഭിരമിച്ചതിനാൽ അവർ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.

13 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth:

കർത്താവിനു പ്രിയരായ സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, ഞങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തോത്രം അർപ്പിക്കാൻ കടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം, ആത്മാവിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്താലും സത്യത്തിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താലും ലഭ്യമാകുന്ന രക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യഫലമായി ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

14 Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോട് അറിയിച്ച സുവിശേഷത്തിലൂടെ നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ പങ്കാളികളായി വിളിക്കപ്പെടാൻവേണ്ടിയായിരുന്ന് ഈ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്.

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.

അതിനാൽ സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, പ്രഭാഷണത്താലും ലേഖനത്താലും ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകിയ ഉപദേശങ്ങൾ മുറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സുസ്ഥിരരായി നിൽക്കുക.

16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God and our Father, who hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)

സ്വയം നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവും നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവവും നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ച് അവിടത്തെ കൃപയാൽ നമുക്കു ശാശ്വത സാന്ത്വനവും ഉത്തമപ്രത്യാശയും നൽകി (aiōnios g166)

17 Exhort your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word.

നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ച് നിങ്ങളെ സകലസൽപ്രവൃത്തികളിലും വാക്കുകളിലും ശാക്തീകരിക്കട്ടെ.
