< 2 Corinthians 4 >

1 Therefore, seeing we have this ministration, according as we have obtained mercy, we faint not;
Onyankopɔn nam nʼadom so de saa asɛm yi abrɛ yɛn na ɛno enti, ɛmma yɛn akoma ntu.
2 But we renounce the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience, in the sight of God.
Yɛagyae kokoamsɛm ne aniwudeyɛ nyinaa. Yɛnnaadaa na yɛntwa Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho nkontompo. Yɛnnaadaa obi mma ɔnnye deɛ Atwerɛsɛm no nkaeɛ nni. Yɛgyae saa aniwudeɛ no nyinaa. Yɛgyina Onyankopɔn anim kasa enti yɛka nokorɛ ma wɔn a wɔnim yɛn no nyinaa gye di.
3 And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost,
Sɛ Asɛmpa a yɛka no yɛ ahintasɛm a, ɛyɛ ahintasɛm ma wɔn a wɔreyera.
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them. (aiōn g165)
Wɔnnye nni, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbonsam asɛe wɔn adwene. Ɔtwe wɔn firi hann a ɛto gu wɔn so no ho; hann a ɛfiri Asɛmpa no mu a ɛfa Kristo a ɔte sɛ Onyankopɔn animuonyam no ho no. (aiōn g165)
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Jesus Christ our Lord; and ourselves your servants through Jesus.
Ɛnyɛ yɛn ankasa ho na yɛka asɛm no fa. Yɛka Yesu Kristo ho asɛm sɛ ɔno ne Awurade no na yɛn nso Yesu enti, yɛyɛ mo asomfoɔ.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Christ Jesus.
Onyankopɔn a ɔkaa sɛ, “Hann mfiri esum mu nhyerɛn no” ɔno na wahyerɛn wɔ yɛn akoma mu, ama yɛanya Onyankopɔn animuonyam ho nimdeɛ wɔ Yesu Kristo mu.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency may be of the power of God, and not of us.
Yɛte sɛ nkukuo a wɔde agyapadeɛ asie mu. Tumi ankasa no firi Onyankopɔn na ɛmfiri yɛn.
8 In all things we suffer tribulation, but are not distressed; we are straitened, but are not destitute;
Yɛtaa hunu amane, nanso wɔnnsɛee yɛn. Mpo sɛ yɛnnim deɛ ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ a yɛmpa aba.
9 We suffer persecution, but are not forsaken; we are cast down, but we perish not:
Amaneɛ mu, Onyankopɔn ka yɛn ho, na sɛ wɔbɔ yɛn hwe fam a yɛsɔre bio.
10 Always bearing about in our body the mortification of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our bodies.
Mmerɛ nyinaa yɛn onipadua no soa Yesu wu a ɔwuiɛ no sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a nʼabrabɔ bɛda adi wɔ yɛn mu.
11 For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake; that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
Yɛn asetena mu nyinaa, Yesu enti, yɛte hɔ ma owuo sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, nʼabrabɔ bɛda adi wɔ yɛn onipadua a ɛwu no mu.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
Yei kyerɛ sɛ owuo di ne dwuma wɔ yɛn mu ɛnna nkwa nso di ne dwuma wɔ mo mu.
13 But having the same spirit of faith, as it is written: I believed, for which cause I have spoken; we also believe, for which cause we speak also:
Atwerɛsɛm no ka sɛ, “Mekasaeɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, na megye di.” Saa honhom mu gyidie no ara so na ɛma yɛn nso yɛkasa, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛgye di.
14 Knowing that he who raised up Jesus, will raise us up also with Jesus, and place us with you.
Yɛnim sɛ Onyankopɔn a ɔmaa Awurade Yesu sɔre firii awufoɔ mu no bɛma yɛne Yesu asɔre na ɔde yɛn abɛka mo ho wɔ nʼanim.
15 For all things are for your sakes; that the grace abounding through many, may abound in thanksgiving unto the glory of God.
Mo enti na yeinom bɛba mu; na sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn adom no reduru nnipa bebree nkyɛn no, saa ara nso na wɔbɛbɔ mpaeɛ ada Onyankopɔn ase de ahyɛ no animuonyam.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is corrupted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Esiane yei enti, yɛn bo ntu. Ɛwom sɛ yɛn onipadua no reporɔ nkakrankakra deɛ, nanso yɛn honhom no deɛ, ɛsesa yɛ foforɔ da biara da.
17 For that which is at present momentary and light of our tribulation, worketh for us above measure exceedingly an eternal weight of glory. (aiōnios g166)
Na saa ɔhaw kakra a yɛfa mu no de animuonyam a ɛnni awieeɛ a ɛboro saa ɔhaw no so no bɛbrɛ yɛn. (aiōnios g166)
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen, are temporal; but the things which are not seen, are eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Yɛmfa yɛn adwene nkɔ nneɛma a yɛhunu so, na mmom, nneɛma a yɛnhunu so na yɛde yɛn adwene kɔ. Deɛ wɔtumi hunu no ntena hɔ nkyɛ, nanso deɛ yɛntumi nhunu no tena hɔ daa. (aiōnios g166)
