1 Samuel 14
1 Now it came to pass one day that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man that bore his armour: Come, and let us go over to the garrison of the Philistines, which is on the other side of yonder place. But he told not this to his father.
Ынтр-о зи, Ионатан, фиул луй Саул, а зис тынэрулуй каре-й пурта армеле: „Вино ши сэ пэтрундем пынэ ла стража филистенилор, каре есте динколо де локул ачеста.” Ши н-а спус нимик татэлуй сэу.
2 And Saul abode in the uttermost part of Gabaa under the pomegranate tree, which was in Magron: and the people with him were about six hundred men.
Саул стэтя ла марӂиня четэций Гибея, суб родиул дин Мигрон, ши попорул каре ера ку ел ера апроапе шасе суте де оамень.
3 And Achias the son of Achitob brother to Ichabod the son of Phinees, the son of Heli the priest of the Lord in Silo, wore the ephod. And the people knew not whither Jonathan was gone.
Ахия, фиул луй Ахитуб, фрателе луй И-Кабод, фиул луй Финеас, фиул луй Ели, преотул Домнулуй ла Сило, пурта ефодул. Попорул ну штия кэ Ионатан с-а дус.
4 Now there were between the ascents, by which Jonathan sought to go over to the garrison of the Philistines, rocks standing up on both sides, and steep cliffs like teeth on the one side, and on the other, the name of the one was Boses, and the name of the other was Sene:
Ынтре трекэториле прин каре кэута Ионатан сэ ажунгэ ла стража филистенилор, ера ун писк де стынкэ де о парте ши ун писк де стынкэ де чялалтэ парте; унул пурта нумеле Боцец ши челэлалт, Сене.
5 One rock stood out towards the north over against Machmas, and the other to the south over against Gabaa.
Унул дин ачесте пискурь есте ла мязэноапте, фацэ ын фацэ ку Микмаш, ши челэлалт ла мязэзи, фацэ ын фацэ ку Геба.
6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bore his armour: Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised, it may be the Lord will do for us, because it is easy for the Lord to save either by many, or by few.
Ионатан а зис тынэрулуй каре-й пурта армеле: „Вино ши сэ пэтрундем пынэ ла стража ачестор нетэяць ымпрежур. Поате кэ Домнул ва лукра пентру ной, кэч нимик ну ымпедикэ пе Домнул сэ дя избэвире принтр-ун мик нумэр ка ши принтр-ун маре нумэр.”
7 And his armourbearer said to him: Do all that pleaseth thy mind: go whither thou wilt, and I will be with thee wheresoever thou hast a mind.
Чел че-й дучя армеле й-а рэспунс: „Фэ тот че ай ын инимэ, н-аскулта декыт де симцэмынтул тэу ши ятэ-мэ ку тине, гата сэ те урмез орьунде.”
8 And Jonathan said: Behold we will go over to these men. And when we shall be seen by them,
„Ей бине, а зис Ионатан, хайдем ла оамений ачештя ши сэ не арэтэм лор!
9 If they shall speak thus to us: Stay till we come to you: let us stand still in our place, and not go up to them.
Дакэ не вор зиче: ‘Оприци-вэ пынэ вом вени ной ла вой!’ вом рэмыне пе лок ши ну не вом суи ла ей.
10 But if they shall say: Come up to us: let us go up, because the Lord hath delivered them into our hands, this shall be a sign unto us.
Дар, дакэ вор зиче: ‘Суици-вэ ла ной!’ не вом суи, кэч Домнул ый дэ ын мыниле ноастре. Ачеста сэ не фие семнул.”
11 So both of them discovered themselves to the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said: Behold the Hebrews come forth out of the holes wherein they were hid.
С-ау арэтат амындой стрэжий филистенилор, ши филистений ау зис: „Ятэ кэ евреий ес дин гэуриле ын каре с-ау аскунс.”
12 And the men of the garrison spoke to Jonathan, and to his armourbearer, and said: Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said to his armourbearer: Let us go up, follow me: for the Lord hath delivered them into the hands of Israel.
Ши оамений каре ерау де стражэ ау ворбит астфел луй Ионатан ши челуй че-й дучя армеле: „Суици-вэ ла ной, ка сэ вэ арэтэм чева.” Ионатан а зис челуй че-й дучя армеле: „Суе-те дупэ мине, кэч Домнул ый дэ ын мыниле луй Исраел.”
13 And Jonathan went up creeping on his hands and feet, and his armourbearer after him. And some fell before Jonathan, others his armourbearer slew as he followed him.
Ши Ионатан с-а суит ажутынду-се ку мыниле ши пичоареле, ши чел че-й дучя армеле а мерс дупэ ел. Филистений ау кэзут ынаинтя луй Ионатан, ши чел че-й дучя армеле арунка моартя ын урма луй.
14 And the first slaughter which Jonathan and his armourbearer made, was of about twenty men, within half an acre of land, which a yoke of oxen is wont to plough in a day.
Ын ачастэ примэ ынфрынӂере, Ионатан ши чел че-й дучя армеле ау учис доуэзечь де оамень, пе ынтиндере де апроапе о жумэтате де погон де пэмынт.
15 And there was a miracle in the camp, through the fields: yea and all the people of their garrison, who had gone out to plunder, were amazed, and the earth trembled: and it happened as a miracle from God.
А интрат гроаза ын табэрэ, ын царэ ши ын тот попорул; стража ши кяр ши прэдэторий с-ау ынспэймынтат; цара с-а ынгрозит. Ера гроаза луй Думнезеу.
16 And the watchmen of Saul, who were in Gabaa of Benjamin looked, and behold a multitude overthrown, and fleeing this way and that.
Стрэжерий луй Саул, каре ерау ла Гибея луй Бениамин, ау вэзут кэ мулцимя се ымпрэштие ши фуӂе ын тоате пэрциле.
17 And Saul said to the people that were with him: Look, and see who is gone from us. And when they had sought, it was found that Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there.
Атунч, Саул а зис попорулуй каре ера ку ел: „Нумэраць, вэ рог, ши ведець чине а плекат дин мижлокул ностру.” Ау нумэрат, ши ятэ кэ липсяу Ионатан ши чел че-й пурта армеле.
18 And Saul said to Achias: Bring the ark of the Lord. (For the ark of God was there that day with the children of Israel.)
Ши Саул а зис луй Ахия: „Аду ынкоаче кивотул луй Думнезеу!” (Кэч пе время ачея кивотул луй Думнезеу ера ку копиий луй Исраел.)
19 And while Saul spoke to the priest, there arose a great uproar in the camp of the Philistines: and it increased by degrees, and was heard more clearly. And Saul said to the priest: Draw in thy hand.
Пе кынд ворбя Саул ку преотул, зарва ын табэра филистенилор се фэчя тот май маре, ши Саул а зис преотулуй: „Траӂе-ць мына!”
20 Then Saul and all the people that were with him, shouted together, and they came to the place of the fight: and behold every man’s sword was turned upon his neighbour, and there was a very great slaughter.
Апой Саул ши тот попорул каре ера ку ел с-ау стрынс ши ау ынаинтат пынэ ла локул луптей, ши филистений ау ынторс сабия уний ымпотрива алтора ши ынвэлмэшяла ера неспус де маре.
21 Moreover the Hebrews that had been with the Philistines yesterday and the day before, and went up with them into the camp, returned to be with the Israelites, who were with Saul and Jonathan.
Евреий каре ерау май динаинте ла филистень ши каре се суисерэ ку ей ын табэрэ де пе унде ерау ымпрэштияць с-ау унит ку исраелиций каре ерау ку Саул ши Ионатан.
22 And all the Israelites that had hid themselves in mount Ephraim, hearing that the Philistines fled, joined themselves with their countrymen in the fight. And there were with Saul about ten thousand men.
Тоць бэрбаций луй Исраел каре се аскунсесерэ ын мунтеле луй Ефраим, афлынд кэ филистений фуӂяу, ау ынчепут сэ-й урмэряскэ ши ей ын бэтае.
23 And the Lord saved Israel that day. And the fight went on as far as Bethaven.
Домнул а избэвит пе Исраел ын зиуа ачея, ши лупта с-а ынтинс пынэ динколо де Бет-Авен.
24 And the men of Israel were joined together that day; and Saul adjured the people, saying: Cursed be the man that shall eat food till evening, till I be revenged of my enemies. So none of the people tasted any food:
Зиуа ачея а фост обоситоаре пентру бэрбаций луй Исраел. Саул пусесе пе попор сэ журе зикынд: „Блестемат сэ фие омул каре ва мынка пыне пынэ сяра, пынэ мэ вой рэзбуна пе врэжмаший мей!” Ши нимень ну мынкасе.
25 And all the common people came into a forest, in which there was honey upon the ground.
Тот попорул ажунсесе ынтр-о пэдуре, унде се гэся мьере пе фаца пэмынтулуй.
26 And when the people came into the forest, behold the honey dropped, but no man put his hand to his mouth. For the people feared the oath.
Кынд а интрат попорул ын пэдуре, а вэзут мьеря кургынд, дар ничунул н-а дус мьере ла гурэ, кэч попорул циня журэмынтул.
27 But Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people: and he put forth the end of the rod, which he had in his hand, and dipt it in a honeycomb: and he carried his hand to his mouth, and his eyes were enlightened.
Ионатан ну штия де журэмынтул пе каре пусесе татэл сэу пе попор сэ-л факэ; а ынтинс вырфул тоягулуй пе каре-л авя ын мынэ, л-а вырыт ынтр-ун фагуре де мьере ши а дус мына ла гурэ, ши окий и с-ау луминат.
28 And one of the people answering, said: Thy father hath bound the people with an oath, saying: Cursed be the man that shall eat any food this day. (And the people were faint.)
Атунч, чинева дин попор, ворбинду-й, й-а зис: „Татэл тэу а пус пе попор сэ журе зикынд: ‘Блестемат сэ фие омул каре ва мынка астэзь!’” Ши попорул ера слеит де путерь.
29 And Jonathan said: My father hath troubled the land: you have seen yourselves that my eyes are enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey:
Ши Ионатан а зис: „Татэл меу тулбурэ попорул; ведець дар кум ми с-ау луминат окий пентру кэ ам густат пуцин дин мьеря ачаста!
30 How much more if the people had eaten of the prey of their enemies, which they found? had there not been made a greater slaughter among the Philistines?
Негрешит, дакэ попорул ар фи мынкат азь дин прада пе каре а гэсит-о ла врэжмаший луй, н-ар фи фост ынфрынӂеря филистенилор май маре?”
31 So they smote that day the Philistines from Machmas to Ailon. And the people were wearied exceedingly.
Ын зиуа ачея ау бэтут пе филистень де ла Микмаш пынэ ла Аиалон. Попорул ера фоарте обосит
32 And falling upon the spoils, they took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people ate them with the blood.
ши с-а арункат асупра прэзий. А луат ой, бой ши вицей, й-а ынжунгият пе пэмынт ши й-а мынкат ку сынӂе ку тот.
33 And they told Saul that the people had sinned against the Lord, eating with the blood. And he said: You have transgressed: roll here to me now a great stone.
Ау спус лукрул ачеста луй Саул ши й-ау зис: „Ятэ кэ попорул пэкэтуеште ымпотрива Домнулуй, мынкынд ку сынӂе.” Саул а зис: „Вой фачець о нелеӂюире. Ростоголиць ындатэ о пятрэ маре ынкоаче.”
34 And Saul said: Disperse yourselves among the people, and tell them to bring me every man his ox and his ram, and slay them upon this stone, and eat, and you shall not sin against the Lord in eating with the blood. So all the people brought every man his ox with him till the night: and slew them there.
Апой а адэугат: „Ымпрэштияци-вэ принтре попор ши спунець фиекэруя сэ-шь адукэ боул сау оая ши сэ-л ынжунгие аич. Апой сэ мынкаць ши ну пэкэтуиць ымпотрива Домнулуй, мынкынд ку сынӂе.” Ши песте ноапте, фиекаре дин попор шь-а адус боул ку мына, ка сэ-л ынжунгие пе пятрэ.
35 And Saul built an altar to the Lord and he then first began to build an altar to the Lord.
Саул а зидит ун алтар Домнулуй: ачеста а фост чел динтый алтар пе каре л-а зидит Домнулуй.
36 And Saul said: Let us fall upon the Philistines by night, and destroy them till the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And the people said: Do all that seemeth good in thy eyes. And the priest said: Let us draw near hither unto God.
Саул а зис: „Сэ не коборым ын ноаптя ачаста дупэ филистень, сэ-й жефуим пынэ ла лумина зилей ши сэ ну лэсэм сэ рэмынэ унул мэкар.” Ей ау зис: „Фэ тот че вей креде.” Атунч, преотул а зис: „Сэ не апропием аич де Думнезеу.”
37 And Saul consulted the Lord: Shall I pursue after the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into the hands of Israel? And he answered him not that day.
Ши Саул а ынтребат пе Думнезеу: „Сэ мэ кобор дупэ филистень? Ый вей да ын мыниле луй Исраел?” Дар ын клипа ачея ну й-а дат ничун рэспунс.
38 And Saul said: Bring hither all the corners of the people: and know, and see by whom this sin hath happened today.
Саул а зис: „Апропияци-вэ аич тоате кэпетенииле попорулуй; кэутаць ши ведець де чине ши кум а фост сэвыршит пэкатул ачеста астэзь.
39 As the Lord liveth who is the saviour of Israel, if it was done by Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. In this none of the people gainsaid him.
Кэч, виу есте Домнул, Избэвиторул луй Исраел, кяр дакэ л-ар фи сэвыршит фиул меу Ионатан, ва мури.” Ши нимень дин тот попорул ну й-а рэспунс.
40 And he said to all Israel: Be you on one side, and I with Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people answered Saul: Do what seemeth good in thy eyes.
Атунч а зис ынтрегулуй Исраел: „Ашезаци-вэ вой деопарте, ши еу ши фиул меу Ионатан вом ста де чялалтэ.” Ши попорул а зис луй Саул: „Фэ че вей креде.”
41 And Saul said to the Lord: O Lord God of Israel, give a sign, by which we may know, what the meaning is, that thou answerest not thy servant today. If this iniquity be in me, or in my son Jonathan, give a proof: or if this iniquity be in thy people, give holiness. And Jonathan and Saul were taken, and the people escaped.
Саул а зис Домнулуй: „Думнезеул луй Исраел, аратэ адевэрул!” Сорцул а кэзут пе Ионатан ши пе Саул, ши попорул а скэпат.
42 And Saul said: Cast lots between me, and Jonathan my son. And Jonathan was taken.
Саул а зис: „Арункаць сорцул ынтре мине ши фиул меу Ионатан.” Ши сорцул а кэзут пе Ионатан.
43 And Saul said to Jonathan: Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said: I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod, which was in my hand, and behold I must die.
Саул а зис луй Ионатан: „Спуне-мь че-ай фэкут.” Ионатан й-а спус ши а зис: „Ам густат пуцинэ мьере ку вырфул тоягулуй пе каре-л авям ын мынэ: ятэ-мэ, вой мури.”
44 And Saul said: May God do so and so to me, and add still more: for dying thou shalt die, O Jonathan.
Ши Саул а зис: „Думнезеу сэ Се поарте ку тоатэ аспримя фацэ де мине дакэ ну вей мури, Ионатане!”
45 And the people said to Saul: Shall Jonathan then die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? This must not be. As the Lord liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground, for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people delivered Jonathan, that he should not die.
Попорул а зис луй Саул: „Че! Сэ моарэ Ионатан, ел каре а фэкут ачастэ маре избэвире ын Исраел? Ничодатэ! Виу есте Домнул кэ ун пэр дин капул луй ну ва кэдя ла пэмынт, кэч ку Думнезеу а лукрат ел ын зиуа ачаста.” Астфел, попорул а скэпат пе Ионатан де ла моарте.
46 And Saul went back, and did not pursue after the Philistines: and the Philistines went to their own places.
Саул а ынчетат сэ май урмэряскэ пе филистень, ши филистений с-ау дус акасэ.
47 And Saul having his kingdom established over Israel, fought against all his enemies round about, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and Edom, and the kings of Soba, and the Philistines; and whithersoever he turned himself, he overcame.
Дупэ че а луат Саул домния песте Исраел, а фэкут рэзбой ын тоате пэрциле ку тоць врэжмаший луй: ку Моаб, ку копиий луй Амон, ку Едом, ку ымпэраций дин Цоба ши ку филистений ши, орьынкотро се ынторчя, ера бируитор.
48 And gathering together an army, he defeated Amalec, and delivered Israel from the hand of them that spoiled them.
С-а арэтат витяз, а бэтут пе Амалек ши а скэпат пе Исраел дин мына челор че-л жефуяу.
49 And the sons of Saul, were Jonathan, and Jessui, and Melchisua: and the names of his two daughters, the name of the firstborn was Merob, and the name of the younger Michol.
Фиий луй Саул ау фост: Ионатан, Ишви ши Малкишуа. Челе доуэ фете але луй се нумяу: чя май маре Мераб, яр чя май микэ Микал.
50 And the name of Saul’s wife, was Achinoam the daughter of Achimaas; and the name of the captain of his army was Abner, the son of Ner, the cousin german of Saul.
Нумеле невестей луй Саул ера Ахиноам, фата луй Ахимаац. Нумеле кэпетенией оштирий луй ера Абнер, фиул луй Нер, ункюл луй Саул.
51 For Cis was the father of Saul, and Ner the father of Abner, was son of Abiel.
Кис, татэл луй Саул, ши Нер, татэл луй Абнер, ерау фиий луй Абиел.
52 And there was a great war against the Philistines all the days of Saul. For whomsoever Saul saw to be a valiant man, and fit for war, he took him to himself.
Ын тот тимпул веций луй Саул а фост ун рэзбой ынвершунат ымпотрива филистенилор, ши, де ындатэ че Саул зэря вреун ом таре ши войник, ыл луа ку ел.
