1 Samuel 10
1 And Samuel took a little vial of oil and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said: Behold, the Lord hath anointed thee to be prince over his inheritance, and thou shalt deliver his people out of the hands of their enemies, that are round about them. And this shall be a sign unto thee, that God hath anointed thee to be prince.
၁ထိုနောက်ရှမွေလသည်သံလွင်ဆီဘူးကိုယူ ၍ ရှောလု၏ဦးခေါင်းပေါ်သို့သွန်းလောင်းပြီး လျှင် သူ့အားနမ်းရှုပ်လျက်``ထာဝရဘုရား သည်သင့်အား ကိုယ်တော်၏လူမျိုးတော်ဣသ ရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၏ဘုရင်အဖြစ်ဘိသိက် ပေးတော်မူ၏။ သင်သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏လူမျိုး တော်ကိုအုပ်စိုးလျက် ရန်သူတို့၏ဘေးမှ ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်သင့်အားကိုယ်တော်၏လူမျိုးတော်ကို အုပ်စိုးရသူအဖြစ်ဖြင့် ဘိသိက်ပေးတော် မူကြောင်းသက်သေကားဤသို့တည်း။-
2 When thou shalt depart from me this day, thou shalt find two men by the sepulchre of Rachel in the borders of Benjamin to the south, and they shall say to thee: The asses are found which thou wentest to seek: and thy father thinking no more of the asses is concerned for you, and saith: What shall I do for my son?
၂ယနေ့ငါ့ထံမှထွက်ခွာသွားသောအခါ သင်သည်ဗင်္ယာမိန်နယ်၊ ဇေလဇမြို့ရှိရာ ခေလ၏သင်္ချိုင်းအနီးတွင်လူနှစ်ယောက် ကိုတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့ကသင်လိုက်လံရှာ ဖွေနေသောမြည်းတို့ကိုပြန်လည်တွေ့ရှိပြီ ဖြစ်၍ သင့်အဖသည်မြည်းများအတွက် စိုးရိမ်ပူပန်မှုမရှိတော့ဘဲသင်၏အတွက် သာလျှင် စိုးရိမ်ပူပန်လျက်နေကြောင်းကို လည်းကောင်း`ငါ့သားအတွက်အဘယ်သို့ ငါပြုရပါမည်နည်း' ဟုမြည်တမ်းလျက် နေကြောင်းကိုလည်းကောင်းသင့်အားပြော ကြားကြလိမ့်မည်။-
3 And when thou shalt depart from thence, and go farther on, and shalt come to the oak of Thabor, there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine.
၃သင်သည်ထိုအရပ်မှနေ၍တာဗော်လွင်ပြင် ရှိ မြတ်သည့်ဝက်သစ်ချပင်သို့ရောက်သည်တိုင် အောင်သွားရမည်။ ထိုနေရာတွင်လူသုံးယောက် ကိုတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ဗေသလမြို့တွင် ဘုရားသခင်အားယဇ်ပူဇော်ရန်သွားကြ သူများဖြစ်၏။ သူတို့အနက်တစ်ယောက် သည်ဆိတ်သုံးကောင်ကိုဆွဲလျက်တစ်ယောက် ကမုန့်သုံးလုံးကိုကိုင်လျက်၊ အခြားတစ် ယောက်ကစပျစ်ရည်အပြည့်ပါသောသား ရေဘူးကိုဆောင်လျက်လာလိမ့်မည်။-
4 And they will salute thee, and will give thee two loaves, and thou shalt take them at their hand.
၄သူတို့သည်သင့်အားနှုတ်ခွန်းဆက်ပြီးလျှင် မုန့်နှစ်လုံးကိုပေးလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုမုန့်တို့ကို သင်သည်လက်ခံရမည်။-
5 After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is: and when thou shalt be come there into the city, thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place, with a psaltery and a timbrel, and a pipe, and a harp before them, and they shall be prophesying.
၅ထိုနောက်သင်သည်ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့၏ တပ်စခန်းချရာ ဂိဗာမြို့ရှိဘုရားသခင် ၏တောင်တော်သို့သွားရောက်ရမည်။ ဂိဗာမြို့ အဝင်ဝ၌သင်သည်စောင်းကြီး၊ စောင်းငယ်၊ ပတ်သာ၊ ပြွေတို့ကိုတီးမှုတ်လျက်တောင်ပေါ် ရှိယဇ်ပလ္လင်မှလာကြသောပရောဖက်တစ်စု ကိုတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ကခုန်ဟစ်အော် ၍နေကြလိမ့်မည်။-
6 And the spirit of the Lord shall come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be changed into another man.
၆ထိုအခါထာဝရဘုရား၏ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် သင်၏အပေါ်သို့သက်ရောက်သဖြင့် သင်သည် ထိုသူတို့နှင့်အတူပါဝင်ကခုန်အော်ဟစ် ကာခြားနားသောသူဖြစ်၍သွားလိမ့်မည်။-
7 When therefore these signs shall happen to thee, do whatsoever thy hand shall find, for the Lord is with thee.
၇ဤအမှုအရာများဖြစ်ပျက်လာသောအခါ သင့်အားဘုရားသခင်လမ်းပြတော်မူသည့် အတိုင်းပြုလော့။-
8 And thou shalt go down before me to Galgal, (for I will come down to thee, ) that thou mayest offer an oblation, and sacrifice victims of peace: seven days shalt thou wait, O till I come to thee, and I will shew thee what thou art to do.
၈သင်သည်ငါ၏အလျင်ဂိလဂါလမြို့သို့ သွားရမည်။ ငါသည်ထိုမြို့တွင်သင်နှင့်တွေ့ ဆုံ၍မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်များနှင့်မိတ်သဟာယ ယဇ်များကိုပူဇော်မည်။ သင်အဘယ်သို့ပြု ရမည်ကို ငါလာ၍မဖော်ပြမချင်းထို မြို့တွင်ခုနစ်ရက်တိုင်တိုင်စောင့်နေလော့'' ဟုဆို၏။
9 So when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave unto him another heart, and all these things came to pass that day.
၉ရှောလုသည်ရှမွေလထံမှထွက်ခွာလာ ချိန်၌ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ရှောလုအား စိတ်သဘောသစ်ကိုပေးတော်မူ၏။ ရှမွေလ ဖော်ပြခဲ့သမျှသောအမှုအရာတို့သည် လည်းထိုနေ့၌ဖြစ်ပျက်လာလေသည်။-
10 And they came to the foresaid hill, and behold a company of prophets met him: and the spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he prophesied in the midst of them.
၁၀ရှောလုနှင့်သူ၏အစေခံသည်ဂိဗာမြို့ သို့ရောက်ရှိကြသောအခါ ပရောဖက်တစ် စုသည်သူတို့အားဆီးကြိုကြ၏။ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည်ရှောလုအပေါ် သို့သက်ရောက်သဖြင့်သူသည်ပရောဖက် များနှင့်အတူပါဝင်ကခုန်ဟစ်အော် လေသည်။-
11 And all that had known him yesterday and the day before, seeing that he was with the prophets, and prophesied, said to each other: What is this that hath happened to the son of Cis? Is Saul also among the prophets?
၁၁သူ့အားယခင်ကသိရှိခဲ့ကြသောလူ တို့သည် ရှောလုဤသို့ကခုန်ဟစ်အော်နေ သည်ကိုမြင်လျှင်``ကိရှ၏သားကားအဘယ် သို့ဖြစ်လေပြီနည်း။ ရှောလုသည်လည်း ပရောဖက်ဖြစ်လာလေပြီလော'' ဟု အချင်းချင်းပြောဆိုမေးမြန်းကြ၏။-
12 And one answered another, saying: And who is their father? therefore it became a proverb: Is Saul also among the prophets?
၁၂ထိုအရပ်သားတစ်ဦးက``အခြားပရော ဖက်တို့၏ဖခင်များကားမည်သူတို့နည်း'' ဟုဆို၏။ ဤသို့လျှင်``ရှောလုသည်လည်း ပရောဖက်ဖြစ်လာလေပြီလော'' ဟူသော ဆိုရိုးစကားစတင်ပေါ်ပေါက်လာ သတည်း။-
13 And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
၁၃ကခုန်ဟစ်အော်ပြီးသောအခါရှောလု သည်တောင်ကုန်းပေါ်ရှိယဇ်ပလ္လင်သို့ထွက် ခွာသွား၏။
14 And Saul’s uncle said to him, and to his servant: Whither went you? They answered: To seek the asses: and not finding them we went to Samuel.
၁၄ရှောလု၏ဦးလေးသည်ရှောလုနှင့်အစေခံ ကိုမြင်လျှင် ``သင်တို့အဘယ်အရပ်မှပြန် လာကြသနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။ ရှောလုက``မြည်းများကိုရှာဖွေရာမှဖြစ် ပါသည်။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်မြည်းများကိုရှာ မတွေ့သဖြင့် ရှမွေလထံကိုသွားရောက်ခဲ့ ကြပါသည်'' ဟုပြန်လည်ဖြေကြား၏။
15 And his uncle said to him: Tell me what Samuel said to thee.
၁၅``သူသည်သင်တို့အား အဘယ်သို့ပြော လိုက်ပါသနည်း'' ဟုဦးလေးကမေး ပြန်သော်၊
16 And Saul said to his uncle: He told us that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom of which Samuel had spoken to him, he told him not.
၁၆ရှောလုက``မြည်းများကိုပြန်၍တွေ့ပြီ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားပြောကြား လိုက်ပါသည်'' ဟုဆို၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ရှမွေလ မိန့်မြွက်သည့်နိုင်ငံရေးအကြောင်းကိုမူ ဦးလေးအားမပြောဘဲနေ၏။
17 And Samuel called together the people to the Lord in Maspha:
၁၇ရှမွေလသည်လူတို့အားမိဇပါမြို့တွင် ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ခေါ်ယူစုရုံး စေပြီးလျှင်၊-
18 And he said to the children of Israel: Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians, and from the hand of all the kings who afflicted you.
၁၈ဤသို့ဆို၏။ ``ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားက`သင်တို့ ကိုအီဂျစ်ပြည်မှငါထုတ်ဆောင်၍ သင်တို့ အားနှိပ်စက်ကလူပြုသောအီဂျစ်အမျိုး သားများနှင့်အခြားအမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့၏ဘေးမှကယ်ဆယ်တော်မူခဲ့သည်။-
19 But you this day have rejected your God, who only hath saved you out of all your evils and your tribulations: and you have said: Nay: but set a king over us. Now therefore stand before the Lord by your tribes, and by your families.
၁၉ငါသည်သင်တို့၏ဘုရား၊ ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခများ နှင့်အခက်အခဲများမှသင်တို့ကိုကယ် တော်မူသောဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ သို့ရာ တွင်သင်တို့သည်ငါ့ကိုပစ်ပယ်ကာငါ၏ ထံမှဘုရင်ကိုတောင်းခံခဲ့ကြ၏။ ကောင်း ပြီ။ သင်တို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ရှေ့ တော်၌အနွယ်အလိုက်၊ သားချင်းစုအလိုက် စုရုံးကြလော့' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူသည်။''
20 And Samuel brought to him all the tribes of Israel, and the lot fell on the tribe of Benjamin.
၂၀ထိုနောက်ရှမွေလသည်အနွယ်တို့ကိုတစ် စုပြီးတစ်စု ရှေ့သို့လာရောက်စေပြီးလျှင် မဲချ၍ ဗင်္ယာမိန်အနွယ်ကိုရွေးချယ်၏။-
21 And he brought the tribe of Benjamin and the kindreds thereof, and the lot fell Upon the kindred of Metri, and it came to Saul the son of Cis. They sought him therefore and he was not found.
၂၁ထိုနောက်ရှမွေလသည်ဗင်္ယာမိန်အနွယ်ဝင် အိမ်ထောင်စုများကို ရှေ့သို့လာရောက်စေ သောအခါမာတရိအိမ်ထောင်စုသည် အရွေးခံရ၏။ ထိုနောက်မာတရိအိမ်ထောင် စုမှအမျိုးသားတို့သည်ရှေ့သို့ထွက်၍ လာကြလျှင် ကိရှ၏သားရှောလုသည် အရွေးခံရ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်သူ့ကိုရှာ၍ မတွေ့ကြသောအခါ၊-
22 And after this they consulted the Lord whether he would come thither. And the Lord answered: Behold he is hidden at home.
၂၂လူတို့သည်``ရှောလုအပြင်အခြားသူတစ်စုံ တစ်ယောက်ရှိပါသေးသလော'' ဟုထာဝရ ဘုရားအားမေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားက``ရှောလုသည်ကုန်ထုပ် များ၏နောက်တွင်ပုန်းကွယ်လျက်ရှိသည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and he stood in the midst of the people, and he was higher than any of the people from the shoulders and upward.
၂၃သို့ဖြစ်၍သူတို့သည်ပြေး၍ရှောလုကို လူတို့ရှေ့သို့ခေါ်ခဲ့ကြသောအခါ သူသည် အခြားသူအပေါင်းတို့ထက်အရပ်တစ် ပေမျှပို၍မြင့်သည်ကိုတွေ့မြင်ရကြ၏။-
24 And Samuel said to all the people: Surely you see him whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people. And all the people cried and said: God save the king.
၂၄ရှမွေလကလူတို့အား``ထာဝရဘုရား ရွေးချယ်တော်မူသောသူကားဤသူတည်း။ ငါတို့တွင်သူနှင့်တူသူတစ်ယောက်မျှ မရှိ'' ဟုဆို၏။ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်လည်း``အရှင်မင်းကြီး သက်တော်ရှည်ပါစေသော'' ဟုကြွေးကြော် ကြ၏။
25 And Samuel told the people the law of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the Lord: and Samuel sent away all the people, every one to his own house.
၂၅ရှမွေလသည်မင်းကျင့်တရားများနှင့် ဘုရင့် ရပိုင်ခွင့်များကို လူတို့အားရှင်းလင်းဖော် ပြ၏။ ထိုနောက်ထိုအရာများကိုစာအုပ် တွင်ရေးမှတ်ကာ သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတွင်သိမ်း ဆည်းထား၏။ ထိုနောက်သူသည်လူတို့အား မိမိတို့နေရပ်အသီးသီးသို့ပြန်စေ၏။-
26 Saul also departed to his own house in Gabaa: and there went with him a part of the army, whose hearts God had touched.
၂၆ရှောလုသည်လည်းဂိဗာမြို့နေအိမ်သို့ပြန် လေသည်။ သူရဲကောင်းအချို့တို့၏စိတ်ကို ဘုရားသခင်ပြုပြင်တော်မူသဖြင့် သူတို့ သည်ရှောလုနှင့်အတူလိုက်သွားကြ၏။-
27 But the children of Belial said: Shall this fellow be able to save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents, but he dissembled as though he heard not.
၂၇သို့ရာတွင်လူဆိုးလူမိုက်တို့က``ဤသူ သည်ငါတို့အား အဘယ်သို့အကျိုးပြုနိုင် ပါမည်နည်း'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။ သူတို့သည် ရှောလုကိုအထင်သေးသဖြင့် အဘယ် လက်ဆောင်ကိုမျှမပေးမဆက်ကြ။
