1 Peter 5
1 The ancients therefore that are among you, I beseech, who am myself also an ancient, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ: as also a partaker of that glory which is to be revealed in time to come:
ଅତଏବ, ଜଣେ ସହ-ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ପୁଣି, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗର ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ଯେ ଆଗାମୀ ଗୌରବର ଅଂଶାଧିକାରୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଅଛି,
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking care of it, not by constraint, but willingly, according to God: not for filthy lucre’s sake, but voluntarily:
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାବଧାନରେ ଥିବା ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପଲକୁ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କର, ବାଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁଯାୟୀ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛନ୍ଦ ମନରେ, ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଲାଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନୁହେଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଗ୍ରହ ସହକାରେ ତାହା କର;
3 Neither as lording it over the clergy, but being made a pattern of the flock from the heart.
ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ଦାୟିତ୍ୱଭାର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ଅଛି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତାପଣ ନ କରି ପଲର ଆଦର୍ଶ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇ ତାହା କର।
4 And when the prince of pastors shall appear, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory.
ସେଥିରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ପାଳକ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗୌରବର ଅକ୍ଷୟ ମୁକୁଟ ପାଇବ।
5 In like manner, ye young men, be subject to the ancients. And do you all insinuate humility one to another, for God resisteth the proud, but to the humble he giveth grace.
ସେହିପରି, ହେ ଯୁବକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କର ବଶୀଭୂତ ହୁଅ। ସମସ୍ତେ ପରସ୍ପର ପ୍ରତି ନମ୍ରତାରୂପ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କର, କାରଣ, “ଈଶ୍ବର ଅହଙ୍କାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରି, ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରନ୍ତି।”
6 Be you humbled therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in the time of visitation:
ଅତଏବ, ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବଳବନ୍ତ ହସ୍ତ ତଳେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ନତ କର, ଯେପରି ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯଥା ସମୟରେ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିବେ;
7 Casting all your care upon him, for he hath care of you.
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ଚିନ୍ତାର ଭାର ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପକାଅ, କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଚିନ୍ତା କରନ୍ତି।
8 Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour.
ସଚେତନ ହୋଇ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ରୁହ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷ ଶୟତାନ ସିଂହପ୍ରାୟ ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରି କାହାକୁ ଗ୍ରାସିବ, ଏହା ଖୋଜି ବୁଲୁଅଛି;
9 Whom resist ye, strong in faith: knowing that the same affliction befalls your brethren who are in the world.
ବିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ସ୍ଥିର ରହି ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କର, ପୁଣି, ଏହା ଜାଣ ଯେ, ଜଗତରେ ଥିବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗ ଘଟୁଅଛି।
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you. (aiōnios g166)
ସମସ୍ତ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହର ଆକର ଯେଉଁ ଈଶ୍ବର ଆପଣା ଅନନ୍ତ ଗୌରବର ସହଭାଗୀ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଷଣିକ ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ, ସୁସ୍ଥିର, ସବଳ ଓ ସଂସ୍ଥାପିତ କରିବେ। (aiōnios g166)

12 By Sylvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I think, I have written briefly: beseeching and testifying that this is the true grace of God, wherein you stand.
ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସତ୍ୟ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଯେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର, ଏହି ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସିଲ୍ୱାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ସଂକ୍ଷେପରେ ପତ୍ର ଲେଖିଲି; ମୋʼ ବୋଧରେ ସେ ଜଣେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ଭ୍ରାତା। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇଥାଅ।
13 The church that is in Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you: and so doth my son Mark.
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମନୋନୀତ ବାବିଲସ୍ଥ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଓ ମୋହର ପୁତ୍ର ମାର୍କ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଉଅଛନ୍ତି।
14 Salute one another with a holy kiss. Grace be to all you, who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
ପ୍ରେମ ଚୁମ୍ବନ ଦେଇ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ନମସ୍କାର କର। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠାରେ ଥିବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଶାନ୍ତି ହେଉ।
