1 Peter 2
1 Wherefore laying away all malice, and all guile, and dissimulations, and envies, and all detractions,
୧ତମେ ନୁଆ ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇଲାର୍ପାଇ ସବୁ କାରାପ୍ ବିସଇର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଦୁରିକେ ରୁଆ । ସବୁ ରକାମ୍ ମିଚ୍ କଇବାଟା, ନାଡାଇବାଟା, ଇଁସା ଅଇବାଟା ଆରି ନିନ୍ଦା କାତା କଇବାଟା ଚାଡିଦିଆସ୍ ।
2 As newborn babes, desire the rational milk without guile, that thereby you may grow unto salvation:
୨ଏବେ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଲା କଅଁଲା ପିଲାମନ୍ ଦୁଦ୍ କାଇବାକେ ଜେନ୍ତାରି ମନ୍ କର୍ବାଇ, ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ତମେ ଆତ୍ମାର୍ ଦୁଦ୍ କାଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କରା । ସେଟା ଅଇଲାନି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ସତ୍ ବାକିଅ । ସେଟା କାଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲେ, ତମର୍ ମୁକ୍ତି ସିଦ୍ ଅଇବାଜାକ ତମେ ବିସ୍ବାସେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଦିକ୍ ବଡି ଆଇସା ।
3 If so be you have tasted that the Lord is sweet.
୩ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇଲାପାରା “କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ, ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିବନ୍ ଦୁକାଇ ଦୟା କଲାଟା ତମେ ଜାନିସାରାଇ ଆଚାସ୍ ।”
4 Unto whom coming, as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen and made honourable by God:
୪ତେବର୍ପାଇ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସା । ସେ, ଗର୍ ଡାଟ୍ କର୍ବା ଜିବନ୍ ପାକ୍ନା ପାରା ଆଚେ । ଏ ପାକ୍ନା, କାଇ ମୁଲିଅ ନାଇ ବଲି, ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଚାଡିଦେଇରଇଲାଇ । ମାତର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସେଟାକେସେ, ବେସି ମୁଲିଅ ରଇବାଟା ବଲି ବାଚିଆଚେ ।
5 Be you also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
୫ତାର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇଲାର୍ପାଇ ତମେ ଜିବନ୍ ରଇବା ପାକ୍ନାପାରା ଅଇଆଚାସ୍ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ, ତମ୍କେ ଜଡିକରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ରଇବା ମଣ୍ଡଲି ତିଆର୍ ଅଇଲାନି । ଆରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ରଇବା ପୁଜାରି ଇସାବେ ତମେ ତାକେ ସେବା କଲାସ୍ନି । ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ଲାଗି ଏ ଆତ୍ମାର୍ ସେବା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସାର୍ଦା କରାଇସି ।
6 Wherefore it is said in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious. And he that shall believe in him, shall not be confounded.
୬ସାସ୍ତରେ କଇଲାପାରା “ଦେକା, ମୁଇ ସବୁର୍ତେଇଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ମୁଲିଅ ରଇବା ପାକ୍ନା ବାଚ୍ଲିଆଚି, ସେଟା ଗର୍ କନର୍ ମୁଲ୍ପାକ୍ନା ଇସାବେ ସିୟନେ ସଙ୍ଗଇଆଚି କେ ଜଦି ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଇ, ସେ କେବେ ଲାଜ୍ ନଏଁ ।”
7 To you therefore that believe, he is honour: but to them that believe not, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner:
୭ତମେ ବିସ୍ବାସି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ପାଇ, ଏ ପାକ୍ନା ବେସି ମୁଲିଅ ରଇବାଟା । ମାତର୍ ଜେତ୍କି ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରତ୍ ନାଇ, ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ବିସଇ ସେମନ୍ ମନେ ରକ୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ । “ଗର୍ ତିଆର୍ କରୁମନ୍ ଜନ୍ ପାକ୍ନା ଚାଡିଦେଇରଇଲାଇ, ସେ ପାକ୍ନାକେସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସବୁର୍ଟାନେ ଅନି ମୁଲିଅ ରଇବା ପାକ୍ନା କଲାଆଚେ ।”
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of scandal, to them who stumble at the word, neither do believe, whereunto also they are set.
୮ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସଇ ମିସା ସେମନ୍ ଏତାଇବାର୍ ଆଚେ । “ଏ ପାକ୍ନା କେତେ ଲକର୍ପାଇ ବାଦା ଆନ୍ସି । ତେଇ ବେସି ଲକ୍ ଜଟିଆଇ ଅଇ ଅଦର୍ବାଇ ।” “ସେମନ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ନ କଲାର୍ପାଇ ଜଟିଆଇ ଅଇ ଅଦର୍ବାଇ । ଏଟା ତାକର୍ପାଇ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଜଜ୍ନା ରଇଲା ।”
9 But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
୯ମାତର୍ ତମେ, ବାଚି ଅଇରଇବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ କୁଟୁମ୍ । ଆରି ଆମର୍ ରାଜାର୍ ପୁଜାରି ଦଲ୍ । ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଚକିତ୍ ଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ ଜାନାଇବାକେ ସେ ବାଚିରଇବା ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଲକ୍ ଅଇଆଚାସ୍ । ଆନ୍ଦାର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଅନି ତାର୍ କାବା ଅଇଜିବା ଉଜଲେ ଜିବାକେ ସେ ତମ୍କେ ଡାକି ଆଚେ ।
10 Who in time past were not a people: but are now the people of God. Who had not obtained mercy; but now have obtained mercy.
୧୦ଆଗେ ତମେ ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଲକ୍ ନ ରଇଲାସ୍ । ମାତର୍ ଏବେ ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଲକ୍ ଅଇଆଚାସ୍ । ଆଗେ ତାର୍ ଦୟା ପାଇ ନ ରଇଲାସ୍, ମାତର୍ ଏବେ ପାଇଆଚାସ୍ ।
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, to refrain yourselves from carnal desires which war against the soul,
୧୧ଏ ମର୍ ମଇତର୍ମନ୍, ତମେ ଏ ଜଗତେ ବିଦେସି ପାରା ଆଚାସ୍ ଆରି ଚନେକର୍ ପାଇସେ ଇତି ରଇଲାସ୍ନି । ତମର୍ ଗାଗ୍ଡେ ରଇବା ପାପର୍ ଗୁନ୍ଚଲନେ ଅନି ଆଇବା ସବୁ ରକାମ୍ କାରାପ୍ ମନ୍କର୍ବା ଟାନେଅନି ଦୁରିକେ ରୁଆ ।
12 Having your conversation good among the Gentiles: that whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by the good works, which they shall behold in you, glorify God in the day of visitation.
୧୨ତମର୍ ନଅରେ ରଇବା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ନ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଦେକ୍ବା ଇସାବେ ତମର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ନିକ ରଇବାର୍ଆଚେ । ସେନ୍ତାରି ରଇଲେ ସେମନ୍ ତମର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ନିନ୍ଦା କାତା କଇଲେ ମିସା, ତମେ କରିରଇବା ନିକ କାମ୍ ଦେକିକରି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବାଉଡିଆଇବା ଦିନେ ତାକେ ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କର୍ବାଇ ।
13 Be ye subject therefore to every human creature for God’s sake: whether it be to the king as excelling;
୧୩ତମର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଅଦିକାର୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଆମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ଲାଗି ମାନିକରି ରୁଆ । ସବୁର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଅଦିକାର୍ ରଇବା ସାସନ୍କାରିଆକେ ମିସା ମାନିକରି ରୁଆ ।
14 Or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of the good:
୧୪ସବୁର୍ଟାନେଅନି ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ, ଜେ କି କାରାପ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ଦେବାକେ ଆରି ନିକ କାମ୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କର୍ବାକେ ପାଟାଇଆଚେ, ତାକେ ମିସା ମାନିକରି ରୁଆ ।
15 For so is the will of God, that by doing well you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
୧୫କାଇକେବଇଲେ, ତମେ କରିରଇବା ନିକ କାମର୍ଲାଗି କାଇ ଲଡାକେ ନ ଆଇବା କାତା କଇବୁଲ୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଚୁପ୍ କରାଇବାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମନ୍ କଲାନି ।
16 As free, and not as making liberty a cloak for malice, but as the servants of God.
୧୬ତମେ ମୁକଲ୍ଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବଲି ତମର୍ ଜିବନର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତିତେଇ ଦେକାଆ । ମାତର୍ ଆମ୍କେ ମୁକ୍ତି ମିଲ୍ଲାଆଚେ ବଲି କାଇଟା ମିସା କର୍ବୁ ବଲି ନ ବାବିକରି ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସେବା କରା ।
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
୧୭ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦିଆସ୍ । ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରା । ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ମାନିକରି ରୁଆ । ଆରି ସବୁର୍ ଉପ୍ରର୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆକେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦିଆସ୍ ।
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
୧୮ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜେତ୍କି ଲକ୍ ଗତିଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡା ଅଇଆଚାସ୍, ତମର୍ ସାଉକାର୍ମନର୍ କାତା ମାନିକରି ରୁଆ ଆରି ସେମନ୍କେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦିଆସ୍ । ଦରମ୍ ରଇବା ସାଉକାର୍ମନ୍ ରଇଲେ, କି ଟେରା ରଇବା ସାଉକାର୍ମନ୍କେ ମିସା ଏନ୍ତାରି କର୍ତେରୁଆ ।
19 For this is thankworthy, if for conscience towards God, a man endure sorrows, suffering wrongfully.
୧୯ତମର୍ କାଇ ବୁଲ୍ ନ ରଇଲେ ମିସା ମୁର୍ଚିକରି ରଇଲେ, ତେଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇସି । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ତମେ ତାର୍ ମନ୍ କଲାଟା ସିଦ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି ।
20 For what glory is it, if committing sin, and being buffeted for it, you endure? But if doing well you suffer patiently; this is thankworthy before God.
୨୦ଜଦି ବୁଲ୍ କଲାର୍ପାଇ ଦୁକ୍କସ୍ଟ ମୁର୍ଚି କରି ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇଲେ, ତେଇ ତମେ କଲା କରମ୍ସେ ପାଇଆଚାସ୍ । ମାତର୍ ସତ୍କାମ୍ କରି ଦୁକ୍ କସ୍ଟ ମୁରଚ୍ଲେ, ସେଟା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସାର୍ଦା କରାଇସି ।
21 For unto this are you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.
୨୧ସେନ୍ତାରି ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମ୍କେ ଡାକ୍ଲାଆଚେ । କିରିସ୍ଟ ତମର୍ପାଇ ଦୁକ୍କସ୍ଟ ମୁର୍ଚି କରି, ତମେ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାଟା ଦେକାଇଆଚେ ।
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.
୨୨ସେ କେବେ ପାପ୍କରି ନ ରଇଲା ଆରି ତାର୍ ଟଣ୍ଡେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ମିସା ମିଚ୍କାତା ନ ବାରଇ ରଇଲା ।
23 Who, when he was reviled, did not revile: when he suffered, he threatened not: but delivered himself to him that judged him unjustly.
୨୩ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ କିଜାଇଲାବେଲେ ସେ ନିନ୍ଦା କାତାକଇ ଟଣ୍ଡ୍ ଲାଗାଏ ନାଇ । ତାକେ ଦୁକ୍ କସ୍ଟ ଦେଲାକେ ସେ ଦମ୍କାଏ ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ କାଇ ଅନିଆଇ ନ କର୍ବା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଚାଡିଦେଲା ।
24 Who his own self bore our sins in his body upon the tree: that we, being dead to sins, should live to justice: by whose stripes you were healed.
୨୪ଆମେ ପାପ୍ କଲାର୍ପାଇ ପାଇବା ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ କୁରୁସ୍କାଟେ ମରିକରି କିରିସ୍ଟ ନିଜେ ବଇନେଲା । ପାପ୍ କର୍ବାଟା ଚାଡିକରି ଦରମ୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାକେ ସେ ଏନ୍ତାରି କଲା । ତାର୍ ଗାଗ୍ଡେ ମାରି ରଇବା ଗାଉର୍ ଲାଗି ଆମେ ନିକ ଅଇଆଚୁ ।
25 For you were as sheep going astray; but you are now converted to the shepherd and bishop of your souls.
୨୫ଆଗ୍ତୁ ତମେ ବାଟ୍ ବାନା ଅଇଲା ମେଣ୍ଡାପାରା ରଇଲାସ୍, ମାତର୍ ଏବେ ସେ ତମ୍କେ ଡାକି ଆନିଆଚେ । ସେ ଆକା ତମ୍କେ ଜତନ୍କରି ତମର୍ ଆତ୍ମାମନ୍କେ ଜାଗ୍ଲାନି ।
