< 1 John 1 >

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life:
Ti adda manipud idi punganay, a nangeganmi, a mismo a nakitami, a minatmatanmi, ken iniggaman dagiti imami - mainaig iti Sao ti biag.
2 For the life was manifested; and we have seen and do bear witness, and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father, and hath appeared to us: (aiōnios g166)
Ken ti biag ket naipakaammo, ken nakitami, ken sinaksianmi, ken ipakaammomi kadakayo ti biag nga agnanayon, nga adda iti Ama, ken naipakaammo kadatayo. (aiōnios g166)
3 That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
Ti nakitami ken nangngeganmi ket ipakaammomi met kadakayo, tapno maaddaankayo met iti pannakikadua kadakami. Ken ti pannagkakaduatayo ket adda iti Ama ken iti Anakna, ni Jesu-Cristo.
4 And these things we write to you, that you may rejoice, and your joy may be full.
Ket isursuratmi dagitoy a banbanag kadakayo, tapno mabalin nga agbalin koma a naan-anay ti rag-otayo.
5 And this is the declaration which we have heard from him, and declare unto you: That God is light, and in him there is no darkness.
Daytoy ti mensahe a nangeganmi manipud kenkuana ken ibagami kadakayo: Ti Dios ket lawag ket pulos nga awan kinasipnget kenkuana.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
No ibagatayo nga addaantayo iti pannakikadua kenkuana ket magmagnatayo met iti kasipngetan, agul-ulbodtayo ken saantayo nga ar-aramiden ti kinapudno.
7 But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Ngem no magmagnatayo iti lawag gapu ti isuna ket adda iti lawag, addaantayo iti pannakikadua iti tunggal maysa, ken ti dara ni Jesus nga Anakna ket dalusannatayo manipud iti amin a basol.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
No ibagatayo nga awan basoltayo, al-allilawentayo dagiti bagitayo, ken ti kinapudno ket awan kadatayo.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.
Ngem no ipudnotayo dagiti basoltayo, isuna ket mapagtalkan ken nalinteg a mamakawan kadatayo kadagiti basoltayo ken dalusannatayo manipud iti amin a kinakillo.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
No ibagatayo a saantayo a nakabasol, pagbalbalinentayo isuna nga ulbod, ken ti saona ket awan kadatayo.
