1 John 2
1 My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. But if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the just:
Ka canae aw, käh nami mkhyekat vaia kca ka ning jah yuk lawki. Mkhyekatki a ve üngpi Pamhnama veia jah nghui pet be khai ngsungpyunki Jesuh Khritaw veki ni.
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
Mi mkhyekat naküt ja khawmdek khyang luma mkhyekat naküt mhlätnaka ngkengtaihnak ta amät Khritaw hin ve ni.
3 And by this we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments.
Pamhnama mtheh mi ngjak üng ta, Pamhnam mi ksingkia ngsing ve.
4 He who saith that he knoweth him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Pamhnam ka ksingki ni ti lü a mtheh am ngjakia khyang üng, a cangnak am ve. Khyang k’hleia mi kyaki, ngthukcang mi k’uma am xüngsei.
5 But he that keepeth his word, in him in very deed the charity of God is perfected; and by this we know that we are in him.
Au pi a mtheh ngjakia khyang cun Pamhnama mhläkphyanak üng kümceiki ni. Ahin cun Pamhnam üng mi yümmatnaka a ngsingnak ni.
6 He that saith he abideth in him, ought himself also to walk, even as he walked.
Pamhnam üng ka xüngseiki mi ti üng ta, Khritawa kba mi ve vai hlüki.
7 Dearly beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard.
Ka püi he aw, ahina ngthupet ka yuk law hin ngthupet kthai am ni. Akcük üngkhyüh nami ksing päng ngthupet kphyüm ni. Thangkdaw üng nami ngjak pänga ngthupet kphyüm ni.
8 Again a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true both in him and in you; because the darkness is passed, and the true light now shineth.
Cunüngpi, atuh ka ning jah yuk law hin ta ngthupet kthai ni. Khritaw üngpi ngthukcang cun ngdang lü nangmi üngpi ngdangki. Anghmüp cun khyük lü akvai kcang cun vai law pängkia kyaki.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
Akvai üng ka veki ti lü a bena hneng hamkia khyang ta, tuh veia anghmüp üng um hamkia kyaki.
10 He that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and there is no scandal in him.
Mi bena mi mhläkphyanak üng ta, akvai üng mi veki ni. Khyang kce mkhye law khaia pawhnak hlü i am ve.
11 But he that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth; because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.
Cunüngpi, mi bena mi hneng üng ta, anghmüp üng mi vekia kyaki. Acuna k’uma ngtuingleng lü hawia mi ceh hman am mi ksing. Isenitiüng, anghmüp cun naw mi mik a jah müsak ni.
12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
Ka canae aw, kca ka ning jah yuk lawki. Khritawa phäh üng nami mkhyekat naküt a ning jah mhlät päng ni.
13 I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him, who is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
Pae aw, kca ka ning jah yuk lawki. Ani cun akcük üngkhyüh ana ve pängki tia nami ksingki he. Athawie, kca ka ning jah yuk lawki. Khawyaipa nami näng päng u ni.
14 I write unto you, babes, because you have known the Father. I write unto you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.
Ka canae aw, nami Pa nami ksinga phäh kca ka ning jah yuk lawki ni. Pae aw, Jesuh cun akcük üngkhyüh ana ve pängki ti nami ksing ua phäh ka ning jah yuk lawki. Athawie aw, kca ka ning jah yuk lawki. Nangmi cun kyansai lü nami k’uma Pamhnama ngthu xüngki, Khawyaipa nami hnep päng u ni.
15 Love not the world, nor the things which are in the world. If any man love the world, the charity of the Father is not in him.
Khawmdek ja khawmdek üng sängeiki naküt käh mhläkphya kpamktah ua. Khawmdek nami mhläkphyanak üng ta, Pa am mhläkphya na uki.
16 For all that is in the world, is the concupiscence of the flesh, and the concupiscence of the eyes, and the pride of life, which is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Khawmdek üng sängeikia: mtisa hlü, mika hmuh naküt kpameinak ja khawmdeka veki khyange naw ami jah awhcahnaka khawhthem hin Pa Pamhnam üngkhyüh lawkie am ni. Khawmdek üng ni ami sängei.
17 And the world passeth away, and the concupiscence thereof: but he that doth the will of God, abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
Khawmdek ja khawmdek üngka naküt khyangea kpameinak naküt cun khyükleih khaie. Cunüngpi, Pamhnama hlüei bikie ta angsäia xüng khaie. (aiōn g165)
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that Antichrist cometh, even now there are become many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last hour.
Ka canae aw, atuh hin akpäihnaka kcün ni. Khritawa Yepa po law khai ti nami ngjak cen, atuh hin Anti-Khrit khawhah po pängki he ni. Acunakyase, akpäihnaka kcün cäh lawki tia mi ksingki he ni.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have remained with us; but that they may be manifest, that they are not all of us.
Acun he cun mimi üng am sängei u. Acunakyase ni ami jah ceh tak u. Mimi üng ami sängei vai süa ta, mi hlawnga ve acun he sü. Acunüngpi, ami van cun mimi üng am sängei u tia a ngsingnak vaia, mi vei üngka naw citkie ni.
20 But you have the unction from the Holy One, and know all things.
Cunüngpi, nangmi cun Khritaw naw Ngmüimkhya Ngcim üng dawnak ning jah pe se, avan naw ngthukcang nami ksingki ni.
21 I have not written to you as to them that know not the truth, but as to them that know it: and that no lie is of the truth.
Ngthukcang am nami ksinga phäh kca ka ning jah yuk law am ni. Ngthukcang ksing u lü ngthukcang üng hleihlak am ngpüi ti pi nami ksinga phäh ka ning jah yuk law ni.
22 Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist, who denieth the Father, and the Son.
Acunüng, khyang k’hlei hin u vai ni. Jesuh hin Mesijah am ni tiki cun khyang k’hleie ni. Acuna ngkhaw khyange va Anti-Khrit hea kyaki he. Pa ja Capa ani nghngih jah makie ni.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father. He that confesseth the Son, hath the Father also.
Capa maki naw ta Pa pi maki ni. Capa doeiki naküt naw Pa pi yaheiki ni.
24 As for you, let that which you have heard from the beginning, abide in you. If that abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning, you also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father.
Ahlana nami ngjak kcük thangkdaw cen nami mlung k’uma ve nglät se. A ve nglät üng ta, Pa ja Capa üng nami xüngsei nglätkie ni.
Ahin ni Khritaw naw angsäia xünnak a jah pet vaia khyütam a jah pet ta. (aiōnios g166)
26 These things have I written to you, concerning them that seduce you.
Nangmi ning jah mhleimhlak hlükiea mawng ka ning jah yuk law ni.
27 And as for you, let the unction, which you have received from him, abide in you. And you have no need that any man teach you; but as his unction teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie. And as it hath taught you, abide in him.
Cunüngpi, Khritaw naw a Ngmüimkhya nami veia a tüih law päng ni. A Ngmüimkhya nami k’uma a vea küta, ning jah mtheimthang khai u am hlü. A Ngmüimkhya naw ahmäi a ning jah mthei ni. Ania ning jah mthei cun cangki. A hlei am ni. A Ngmüimkhyaa ning jah mtheimthang läklam ua, Khritaw üng pi yümmat nglät u bä.
28 And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be confounded by him at his coming.
Ä, ka canae aw, Khritaw a ngdang law bea üng, linglainak üng be lü, A law bea Mhnüp üng, a maa käh ngkeei lü ngdüih dat vaia phäh ani üng yümmat nglät u bä.
29 If you know, that he is just, know ye, that every one also, who doth justice, is born of him.
Khritaw cun ngsungpyunki ti nami ksingki. Akdaw pawhkia khyang naküt cun Pamhnama ca tia nami ksinga ngkawih ve.
