1 Chronicles 6
1 The sons of Levi were Gerson, Caath, and Merari.
૧લેવીના દીકરાઓ: ગેર્શોન, કહાથ તથા મરારી.
2 The sons of Caath: Amram, Isaar, Hebron, and Oziel.
૨કહાથના દીકરાઓ: આમ્રામ, યિસ્હાર, હેબ્રોન તથા ઉઝિયેલ.
3 The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Mary. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abiu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
૩આમ્રામના દીકરાઓ: હારુન, મૂસા તથા દીકરી મરિયમ. હારુનના દીકરાઓ: નાદાબ, અબીહૂ, એલાઝાર તથા ઈથામાર.
4 Eleazar beget Phinees, and Phinees beget Abisue,
૪એલાઝારનો દીકરો ફીનહાસ. ફીનહાસનો દીકરો અબીશૂઆ.
5 And Abisue beget Bocci, and Bocci begot Ozi.
૫અબીશૂઆનો દીકરો બુક્કી. બુક્કીનો દીકરો ઉઝઝી.
6 Ozi beget Zaraias, and Zaraias beget Maraioth.
૬ઉઝઝીનો દીકરો ઝરાહયા. ઝરાહયાનો દીકરો મરાયોથ.
7 And Maraioth beget Amarias, and Amarias beget Achitob.
૭મરાયોથનો દીકરો અમાર્યા. અમાર્યાનો દીકરો અહિટૂબ.
8 Achitob beget Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas.
૮અહિટૂબનો દીકરો સાદોક. સાદોકનો દીકરો અહિમાઆસ.
9 Achimaas beget Azarias, Azarias begot Johanan,
૯અહિમાઆસનો દીકરો અઝાર્યા. અઝાર્યાનો દીકરો યોહાનાન.
10 Johanan beget Azarias. This is he that executed the priestly office in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.
૧૦યોહાનાનનો દીકરો અઝાર્યા. સુલેમાને યરુશાલેમમાં જે ભક્તિસ્થાન બાંધ્યું તેમા જે સેવા કરતો હતો તે એ જ છે.
11 And Azarias beget Amarias, and Amarias beget Achitob.
૧૧અઝાર્યાનો દીકરો અમાર્યા. અને અમાર્યાનો દીકરો અહિટૂબ.
12 And Achitob beget Sadoc, and Sadoc beget Sellum,
૧૨અહિટૂબનો દીકરો સાદોક. સાદોકનો દીકરો શાલ્લુમ.
13 Sellum beget Helcias, and Helcias beget Azarias,
૧૩શાલ્લુમનો દીકરો હિલ્કિયા. હિલ્કિયાનો દીકરો અઝાર્યા.
14 Azarias beget Saraias, and Saraias beget Josedec.
૧૪અઝાર્યાનો દીકરો સરાયા. સરાયાનો દીકરો યહોસાદાક.
15 Now Josedec went out, when the Lord carried away Juda, and Jerusalem, by the hands of Nabuchodonosor.
૧૫જયારે ઈશ્વરે નબૂખાદનેસ્સાર મારફતે યહૂદિયા અને યરુશાલેમના લોકોને બંદીવાન બનાવ્યાં હતા ત્યારે યહોસાદાકને બંદીવાસમાં લઈ જવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
16 So the sons of Levi were Gerson, Caath, and Merari.
૧૬લેવીના દીકરાઓ: ગેર્શોન, કહાથ તથા મરારી.
17 And these are the names of the sons of Gerson: Lobni and Semei.
૧૭ગેર્શોમના દીકરાઓ: લિબ્ની તથા શિમઈ.
18 The sons of Caath: Amram, and Isaar, and Hebron, and Oziel.
૧૮કહાથના દીકરાઓ: આમ્રામ, યિસ્હાર, હેબ્રોન અને ઉઝિયેલ.
19 The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi. And these are the kindreds of Levi according to their families.
૧૯મરારીના દીકરાઓ: માહલી તથા મુશી. આ લેવીઓનાં કુળો તેમના પિતાના કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે:
20 Of Gerson: Lobni his son, Jahath his son, Zamma his son,
૨૦ગેર્શોમનો દીકરો: લિબ્ની. લિબ્નીનો દીકરો યાહાથ, તેનો દીકરો ઝિમ્મા.
21 Joah his son, Addo his son, Zara his son, Jethrai his son.
૨૧તેનો દીકરો યોઆહ, તેનો દીકરો ઇદ્દો, તેનો દીકરો ઝેરાહ, તેનો દીકરો યેઆથરાય.
22 The sons of Caath, Aminadab his son, Core his son, Asir his son,
૨૨કહાથના વંશજો: તેનો દીકરો આમ્મીનાદાબ, તેનો દીકરો કોરા, તેનો દીકરો આસ્સીર,
23 Elcana his son, Abiasaph his son, Asir his son,
૨૩તેનો દીકરો એલ્કાના, તેનો દીકરો એબ્યાસાફ, તેનો દીકરો આસ્સીર,
24 Thahath his son, Uriel his son, Ozias his son, Saul his son.
૨૪તેનો દીકરો તાહાથ, તેનો દીકરો ઉરીએલ, તેનો દીકરો ઉઝિયા, તેનો દીકરો શાઉલ.
25 The sons of Elcana: Amasai, and Achimoth.
૨૫એલ્કાનાના દીકરાઓ: અમાસાય તથા અહિમોથ.
26 And Elcana. The sons of Elcana: Sophai his son, Nahath his son,
૨૬એલ્કાનાનો બીજો દીકરો સોફાય, તેનો દીકરો નાહાથ.
27 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elcana his son.
૨૭તેનો દીકરો અલિયાબ, તેનો દીકરો યરોહામ, તેનો દીકરો એલ્કાના.
28 The sons of Samuel: the firstborn Vasseni, and Abia.
૨૮શમુએલના દીકરાઓ: જયેષ્ઠપુત્ર યોએલ તથા બીજો અબિયા.
29 And the sons of Merari, Moholi: Lobni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son,
૨૯મરારીનો દીકરો માહલી, તેનો દીકરો લિબ્ની, તેનો દીકરો શિમઈ તથા તેનો દીકરો ઉઝઝા.
30 Sammaa his son, Haggia his son, Asaia his son.
૩૦તેનો દીકરો શિમા, તેનો દીકરો હાગ્ગિયા, તેનો દીકરો અસાયા.
31 These are they, whom David set over the singing men of the house of the Lord, after that the ark was placed:
૩૧કરારકોશને લાવીને એક જગ્યાએ પ્રસ્થાપિત કર્યા પછી ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં દાઉદ રાજાએ ઈશ્વરની સ્તુતિ કરવા માટે સંગીતકારો પર આગેવાનો નીમ્યા.
32 And they ministered before the tabernacle of the testimony, with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they stood according to their order in the ministry.
૩૨જ્યાં સુધી સુલેમાને ઈશ્વરનું ભક્તિસ્થાન યરુશાલેમમાં બાંધ્યું નહોતું, ત્યાં સુધી તેઓ ગાયન કરીને મુલાકાતમંડપના તંબુ આગળ સેવા કરતા હતા. તેઓ તેમને આપેલા કામના ક્રમ પ્રમાણે સેવા માટે હાજર રહેતા હતા.
33 And these are they that stood with their sons, of the sons of Caath, Hemam a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Sammuel,
૩૩જેઓ સેવા કરતા હતા તેઓ તથા તેઓના દીકરાઓ: કહાથીઓના કુટુંબનો ગાયક હેમાન, હેમાન યોએલનો દીકરો, યોએલ શમુએલનો દીકરો,
34 The son of Elcana, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Thohu,
૩૪શમુએલ એલ્કાનાનો દીકરો, એલ્કાના યરોહામનો દીકરો, યરોહામ અલિયેલનો દીકરો, અલિયેલ તોઆનો દીકરો હતો.
35 The son of Suph, the son of Elcana, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
૩૫તોઆ સૂફનો દીકરો, સૂફ એલ્કાનાનો દીકરો, એલ્કાના માહાથનો દીકરો, માહાથ અમાસાયનો દીકરો,
36 The son of Elcana, the son of Johel, the son of Azarias, the son of Sophonias,
૩૬અમાસાય એલ્કાનાનો દીકરો, એલ્કાના યોએલનો દીકરો, યોએલ અઝાર્યાનો દીકરો, અઝાર્યા સફાન્યાનો દીકરો,
37 The son of Thahath, the son of Asir, the son or Abiasaph, the son of Core,
૩૭સફાન્યા તાહાથનો દીકરો, તાહાથ આસ્સીરનો દીકરો, આસ્સીર એબ્યાસાફનો દીકરો, એબ્યાસાફ કોરાનો દીકરો,
38 The son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
૩૮કોરા યિસ્હારનો દીકરો, યિસ્હાર કહાથનો દીકરો, કહાથ લેવીનો દીકરો, લેવી ઇઝરાયલનો દીકરો.
39 And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa.
૩૯હેમાનનો સાથીદાર આસાફ, જે તેને જમણે હાથે ઊભો રહેતો હતો. આસાફ બેરેખ્યાનો દીકરો, બેરેખ્યા શિમઆનો દીકરો.
40 The son of Michael, the son of Basaia, the son of Melchia.
૪૦શિમઆ મિખાએલનો દીકરો, મિખાએલ બાસેયાનો દીકરો, બાસેયા માલ્કિયાનો દીકરો.
41 The son of Athanai, the son of Zara, the son of Adaia.
૪૧માલ્કિયા એથ્નીનો દીકરો, એથ્ની ઝેરાનો દીકરો, ઝેરા અદાયાનો દીકરો.
42 The son of Ethan, the son of Zamma, the son of Semei.
૪૨અદાયા એથાનનો દીકરો, એથાન ઝિમ્માનો દીકરો, ઝિમ્મા શિમઈનો દીકરો.
43 The son of Jeth, the son of Gerson, the son of Levi.
૪૩શિમઈ યાહાથનો દીકરો, યાહાથ ગેર્શોમનો દીકરો, ગેર્શોમ લેવીનો દીકરો.
44 And the sons of Merari their brethren, on the left hand, Ethan the son of Cusi, the son of Abdi, the son of Meloch,
૪૪હેમાનના ડાબા હાથે તેના સાથીદાર મરારીના દીકરાઓ હતા. તેઓમાં કીશીનો દીકરો એથાન. કીશી આબ્દીનો દીકરો, આબ્દી માલ્લૂખનો દીકરો.
45 The son of Hasabia, the son of Amasai, the son of Helcias,
૪૫માલ્લૂખ હશાબ્યાનો દીકરો, હશાબ્યા અમાસ્યાનો દીકરો, અમાસ્યા હિલ્કિયાનો દીકરો.
46 The son of Amasai, the son of Boni, the son of Somer,
૪૬હિલ્કિયા આમ્સીનો દીકરો, આમ્સી બાનીનો દીકરો, બાની શેમેરનો દીકરો,
47 The son of Moholi, the son of Mud, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
૪૭શેમેર માહલીનો દીકરો, માહલી મૂશીનો દીકરો, મુશી મરારીનો દીકરો, મરારી લેવીનો દીકરો.
48 Their brethren also the Levites, who were appointed for all the ministry of the tabernacle of the house of the Lord.
૪૮તેઓના લેવી સાથીઓ ઈશ્વરના મંડપની તમામ સેવાને માટે નિમાયેલા હતા.
49 But Aaron and his sons offered burnt offerings upon the altar of holocausts, and upon the altar of incense, for very work of the holy of holies: and to pray for Israel according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
૪૯હારુન તથા તેના દીકરાઓએ પરમપવિત્રસ્થાનને લગતું સઘળું કામ કર્યું. એટલે તેઓએ દહનીયાર્પણની વેદી પર અર્પણો ચઢાવ્યાં. તેઓએ ધૂપવેદી પર ધૂપ બાળ્યું. સર્વ ઇઝરાયલને માટે પ્રાયશ્ચિત કરવા સારુ, તેઓએ ઈશ્વરના સેવક મૂસાએ જે સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ આપી હતી તે પ્રમાણે કરતા હતા.
50 And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisue his son,
૫૦હારુનના વંશજો: હારુનનો દીકરો એલાઝાર, એલાઝારનો દીકરો ફીનહાસ, ફીનહાસનો દીકરો અબીશૂઆ,
51 Bocci his son, Ozi his son, Zarahia his son,
૫૧અબીશૂઆનો દીકરો બુક્કી, બુક્કીનો દીકરો ઉઝઝી, ઉઝઝીનો દીકરો ઝરાહયા,
52 Meraioth his son, Amarias his son, Achitob his son,
૫૨ઝરાયાનો દીકરો મરાયોથ, મરાયોથનો દીકરો અમાર્યા, અમાર્યાનો દીકરો અહિટૂબ,
53 Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.
૫૩અહિટૂબનો દીકરો સાદોક, સાદોકનો દીકરો અહિમાઆસ હતો.
54 And these are their dwelling places by the towns and confines, to wit, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Caathites: for they fell to them by lot.
૫૪જે જગ્યા હારુનના વંશજોને આપવામાં આવી હતી. એ જગ્યાઓ આ હતી. કહાથીઓના કુટુંબો માટે ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખીને પહેલો ભાગ તેમને આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો:
55 And they gave them Hebron in the land of Juda, and the suburbs thereof round about:
૫૫તેઓને યહૂદાના દેશમાં હેબ્રોન તથા તેની આસપાસની ઘાસચારાવાળી જમીનો આપવામાં આવી હતી.
56 But the fields of the city, and the villages to Caleb son of Jephone.
૫૬પણ તે નગરનાં ખેતરો તથા તેની આસપાસનાં ગામો તેઓએ યફૂન્નેના દીકરા કાલેબને આપ્યાં.
57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities for refuge Hebron, and Lobna, and the suburbs thereof,
૫૭હારુનના વંશજોને તેઓએ આશ્રયનગર એટલે હેબ્રોન આપ્યું. વળી લિબ્નાહ તેના ગોચરો સહિત યાત્તીર તથા એશ્તમોઆ તેના ગોચરો સહિત,
58 And Jether and Esthemo, with their suburbs, and Helon, and Dabir with their suburbs:
૫૮હિલેન તેના ગોચરો સહિત, દબીર તેના ગોચરો સહિત,
59 Asan also, and Bethsames, with their suburbs.
૫૯હારુનના વંશજોને આશાન તેના ગૌચરો સહિત સાથે તથા બેથ-શેમેશ તેના ગોચરો સહિત આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
60 And out of the tribe of Benjamin: Gabee and its suburbs, Almath with its suburbs, Anathoth also with its suburbs: all their cities throughout their families were thirteen.
૬૦બિન્યામીનના કુળમાંથી ગેબા તેના ગોચરો સહિત, આલેમેથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા અનાથોથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત. કહાથીઓના કુટુંબોને આ સઘળાં મળીને તેર નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યા.
61 And to the sons of Caath that remained of their kindred they gave out of the half tribe of Manasses ten cities in possession.
૬૧કહાથના બાકીના વંશજોને ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખીને એફ્રાઇમ, દાન, તથા મનાશ્શાના અડધા કુળમાંથી દસ નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
62 And to the sons of Gerson by their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Aser, and out of the tribe of Nephtali, and out of the tribe of Manasses in Basan, thirteen cities.
૬૨ગેર્શોમના વંશજોને તેઓનાં જુદાં જુદાં કુટુંબો માટે ઇસ્સાખારના કુળમાંથી, આશેરના કુળમાંથી, નફતાલીના કુળમાંથી તથા મનાશ્શાના કુળમાંથી બાશાનમાં તેર નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
63 And to the sons of Merari by their families out of the tribe of Ruben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zabulon, they gave by lot twelve cities.
૬૩મરારીના વંશજોને, તેઓનાં કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે, રુબેનના, ગાદના તથા ઝબુલોનના કુળમાંથી ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખીને બાર નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
64 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities, and their suburbs.
૬૪તેથી ઇઝરાયલના લોકોએ લેવીઓને આ નગરો તેઓનાં ગોચરો સહિત આપ્યાં.
65 And they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Juda, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which they called by their names.
૬૫તેઓએ યહૂદાના, શિમયોનના તથા બિન્યામીનના કુળમાંથી આ નગરો જેઓનાં નામ આપેલાં છે તે, ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખીને આપ્યાં.
66 And to them that were of the kindred of the sons of Caath, and the cities in their borders were of the tribe of Ephraim.
૬૬કહાથના કેટલાંક કુટુંબોને એફ્રાઇમના કુળમાંથી નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
67 And they gave the cities of refuge Sichem with its suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer with its suburbs,
૬૭તેઓને એફ્રાઇમના પહાડી પ્રદેશમાં આવેલું શખેમ આશ્રયનું નગર તેના ગોચરો સહિત, ગેઝેર તેના ગોચરો સહિત આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
68 Jecmaan also with its suburbs, and Beth-horon in like manner,
૬૮યોકમામ તેના ગોચરો સહિત, બેથ-હોરોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત,
69 Helon also with its suburbs, and Gethremmon in like manner,
૬૯આયાલોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા ગાથ-રિમ્મોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
70 And out of the half tribe of Manasses, Aner and its suburbs, Baalam and its suburbs: to wit, to them that were left of the family of the sons of Caath.
૭૦મનાશ્શાના અડધા કુળમાંથી આનેર તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા બિલહામ તેના ગોચરો સહિત આપવામાં આવ્યા. આ સંપત્તિ બાકીના કહાથીઓના કુટુંબોની થઈ.
71 And to the sons of Gersom, out of the kindred of the half tribe of Manasses, Gaulon, in Basan, and its suburbs, and Astharoth with its suburbs.
૭૧ગેર્શોમના વંશજોને મનાશ્શાના અડધા કુળમાંથી બાશાનમાંનું ગોલાન તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા આશ્તારોથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
72 Out of the tribe of Issachar, Cedes and its suburbs, and Dabereth with its suburbs;
૭૨ઇસ્સાખારના કુળમાંથી ગેર્શોમના વંશજોએ કેદેશ તેના ગોચરો સહિત, દાબરાથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત,
73 Ramoth also and its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs.
૭૩રામોથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા આનેમ તેના ગોચરો સહિત પણ આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
74 And out of the tribe of Aser: Masal with its suburbs, and Abdon in like manner;
૭૪આશેરના કુળમાંથી તેઓને માશાલ તેના ગોચરો સહિત, આબ્દોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત,
75 Hucac also and its suburbs, and Rohol with its suburbs.
૭૫હુકોક તેના ગોચરો સહિત, રહોબ તેના ગોચરો સહિત મળ્યાં.
76 And out of the tribe of Nephtali, Cedes in Galilee and its suburbs, Hamon with its suburbs, and Cariathaim, and its suburbs.
૭૬નફતાલીના કુળમાંથી તેઓએ ગાલીલમાંનું કેદેશ તેના ગોચરો સહિત, હામ્મોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા કિર્યાથાઈમ તેના ગોચરો સહિત પ્રાપ્ત કર્યાં.
77 And to the sons of Merari that remained: out of the tribe of Zabulon, Remmono and its suburbs, and Thabor with its suburbs.
૭૭બાકીના લેવીઓને એટલે મરારીના વંશજોને ઝબુલોનના કુળમાંથી, રિમ્મોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા તાબોર તેના ગોચરો સહિત આપવામાં આવ્યા.
78 Beyond the Jordan also over against Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, out of the tribe of Ruben, Bosor in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jassa with its suburbs;
૭૮તેઓના કુળોને યરીખોની પાસે યર્દનને પેલે પાર, એટલે નદીની પૂર્વ તરફ, અરણ્યમાંનું બેસેર તેના ગોચરો સહિત, યાહસા તેના ગોચરો સહિત;
79 Cademoth also and its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;
૭૯કદેમોથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા મેફાથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત રુબેનના કુળમાંથી આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
80 Moreover also out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Galaad and its suburbs, and Manaim with its suburbs;
૮૦ગાદના કુળમાંથી તેઓને ગિલ્યાદમાંનું રામોથ તેના ગોચરો સહિત, માહનાઇમ તેના ગોચરો સહિત,
81 Hesebon also with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
૮૧હેશ્બોન તેના ગોચરો સહિત તથા યાઝેર તેના ગોચરો સહિત નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યાં.
