1 Chronicles 5
1 Now the sons of Ruben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was his firstborn: but forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his first birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel, and he was not accounted for the firstborn.
Y los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel (porque él era el primogénito, mas como violó el lecho de su padre, sus derechos de primogenitura fueron dados a los hijos de José, hijo de Israel; y no fue contado por primogénito.
2 But of the race of Juda, who was the strongest among his brethren, came the princes: but the first birthright was accounted to Joseph.)
Porque Judá fue el mayorazgo sobre sus hermanos, y el príncipe de ellos; mas el derecho de primogenitura fue de José).
3 The sons then of Ruben the firstborn of Israel were Enoch, and Phallu, Esron, and Charmi.
Fueron, pues, los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi.
4 The sons of Joel: Samaia his son, Gog his son, Semei his son,
Los hijos de Joel: Semaías su hijo, Gog su hijo, Simei su hijo;
5 Micha his son, Reia his son, Baal his son,
Micaía su hijo, Reaía su hijo, Baal su hijo;
6 Beera his son, whom Thelgathphalnasar king of the Assyrians carried away captive, and he was prince in the tribe of Ruben.
Beera su hijo, el cual fue trasportado por Tiglat-pileser rey de los asirios. Este era principal de los rubenitas.
7 And his brethren, and all his kindred, when they were numbered by their families, had for princes Jehiel, and Zacharias.
Y sus hermanos por sus familias, cuando eran contados en sus descendencias, tenían por príncipes a Jeiel y a Zacarías.
8 And Bala the son of Azaz, the son of Samma, the son of Joel, dwelt in Aroer as far as Nebo, and Beelmeon.
Y Bela hijo de Azaz, hijo de Sema, hijo de Joel, habitó en Aroer hasta Nebo y Baal-meón.
9 And eastward he had his habitation as far as the entrance of the desert, and the river Euphrates. For they possessed a great number of cattle in the land of Galaad.
Habitó también desde el oriente hasta la entrada del desierto desde el río Eufrates; porque tenía muchos ganados en la tierra de Galaad.
10 And in the days of Saul they fought against the Agarites, and slew them, and dwelt in their tents in their stead, in all the country, that looketh to the east of Galaad.
Y en los días de Saúl trajeron guerra contra los agarenos ( ismaelitas ), los cuales cayeron en su mano; y ellos habitaron en sus tiendas sobre toda la parte oriental de Galaad.
11 And the children of Gad dwelt over against them in the land of Basan, as far as Selcha:
Y los hijos de Gad habitaron enfrente de ellos en la tierra de Basán hasta Salca.
12 Johel the chief, and Saphan the second: and Janai, and Saphat in Basan.
Y el primogénito fue Joel, el segundo Safán, y Jaanai, y Safat en Basán.
13 And their brethren according to the houses of their kindreds, were Michael, and Mosollam, and Sebe, and Jorai, and Jacan, and Zie, and Heber, seven.
Y sus hermanos, según las familias de sus padres, fueron Micael, Mesulam, Seba, Jorai, Jacán, Zía, y Heber; en todos siete.
14 These were the sons of Abihail, the son of Hurl, the son of Jara, the son of Galaad, the son of Michael, the son of Jesisi, the son of Jeddo, the son of But.
Estos fueron los hijos de Abihail hijo de Huri, hijo de Jaroa, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Micael, hijo de Jesisai, hijo de Jahdo, hijo de Buz.
15 And their brethren the sons of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house in their families,
También Ahí, hijo de Abdiel, hijo de Guni, fue principal en la casa de sus padres.
16 And they dwelt in Galaad, and in Basan and in the towns thereof, and in all the suburbs of Saron, unto the borders.
Los cuales habitaron en Galaad, en Basán, y en sus aldeas, y en todos los ejidos de Sarón hasta salir de ellos.
17 All these were numbered in the days of Joathan king of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
Todos estos fueron contados por sus generaciones en días de Jotam rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam rey de Israel.
18 The sons of Ruben, and of Gad, and of the half tribe of Manasses, fighting men, bearing shields, and swords, and bending the bow, and trained up to battles, four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore that went out to war.
Los hijos de Rubén, y de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, hombres valientes, hombres que traían escudo y espada, que entesaban arco, y diestros en guerra, cuarenta y cuatro mil setecientos sesenta que salían a batalla.
19 They fought against the Agarites: but the Itureans, and Naphis, and Nodab,
Y tuvieron guerra con los agarenos, y Jetur, y Nafis, y Nodab.
20 Gave them help. And the Agarites were delivered into their hands, and all that were with them, because they called upon God in the battle: and he heard them, because they had put their faith in him.
Y fueron ayudados contra ellos, y los agarenos se dieron en sus manos, y todos los que con ellos estaban; porque clamaron a Dios en la guerra, y les fue favorable, porque esperaron en él.
21 And they took all that they possessed, of camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men a hundred thousand souls.
Y tomaron sus ganados, cincuenta mil camellos, y doscientas cincuenta mil ovejas, dos mil asnos, y cien mil personas.
22 And many fell down slain: for it was the battle of the Lord. And they dwelt in their stead till the captivity.
Y cayeron muchos heridos, porque la guerra era de Dios; y habitaron en sus lugares hasta la transmigración.
23 And the children of the half tribe of Manasses possessed the land, from the borders of Basan unto Baal, Hermon, and Sanir, and mount Hermon, for their number was great.
Y los hijos de la media tribu de Manasés habitaron en la tierra, desde Basán hasta Baal-hermón, y Senir y el monte de Hermón, multiplicados en gran manera.
24 And these were the heads of the house of their kindred, Epher, and Jesi, and Eliel, and Esriel, and Jeremia, and Odoia, and Jediel, most valiant and powerful men, and famous chiefs in their families.
Y estas fueron las cabezas de las casas de sus padres: Efer, Isi, y Eliel, Azriel, y Jeremías, y Hodavías, y Jahdiel, hombres valientes y de esfuerzo, varones de nombre y cabeceras de las casas de sus padres.
25 But they forsook the God of their fathers, and went astray after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
Mas se rebelaron contra el Dios de sus padres, y fornicaron siguiendo los dioses de los pueblos de la tierra, a los cuales el SEÑOR había quitado de delante de ellos.
26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Phul king of the Assyrians, and the spirit of Thelgathphalnasar king of Assur: and he carried away Ruben, and Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses, and brought them to Lahela, and to Habor, and to Ara, and to the river of Gozan, unto this day.
Por lo cual el Dios de Israel despertó el espíritu de Pul rey de los Asirios, y el espíritu de Tiglat-pileser rey de los Asirios, el cual trasportó a los rubenitas y gaditas y a la media tribu de Manasés, y los llevó a Halah, y a Habor y a Ara, y al río de Gozán, hasta hoy.
